The theater was clean and it was a little too dark when the concert started so walking to and from your seats was a little difficult however the sound was great and felt the vibration and rhythm even in the back. The drink selection was good. The prices weren’t too bad. The restrooms for the ladies were clean and fully stocked.
I went last night and the director of La Mission was there talking about his film. Isnt this place awesome how directors come here and speak with the audience? Out front were a bunch of 50s lowriders with hydraulics that were just awesome. I love the Microsoft Theater, They even have an antique projector inside on display.
Was here for Day 0 of AX a couple of years ago. Watched Aqours perform; LOVED it. Venue itself had good seats with easy entrances and exits. Great stage sound quality, too.
This is a good venue. Parking is easy to get to (but not cheap - $30). The security lines were a bit long but they kept moving. Refreshments were very expensive. But our loge seats were excellent and the experience inside the venue was very good. Easy exit to the freeway after the event.
The Microsoft Theater is an accommodating and comfortable entertainment venue. I was fortunate to attend a private event; thus had the run of the house. Prior to the show I chilled down in the lower level on a leather couch surrounded by artistic decor. Didnt didnt try the food (had just had dinner) but the drinks were on par with this type of facility.
The R&B Rewind Concert was amazing. I had been wanting to go for years and I finally went for my birthday. Best Birthday present.
Setup of the theater this year for E3 was absolutely amazing. Last year it was cramped and cluttered. This year they did it right, staff was also better. Building is well ventilated and air conditioned.
Great sound and Artists..enjoy many concerts here!!

Still one best place i be watch an performances. I got 2nd level seat i love watch stage high up
Modern decor looks new. Love downstairs first floor VIP style lounge area with small tables for sitting and drinking and a photo booth.
Great venue! It doesn’t matter where you sit, you will have a fabulous view. Intimate but still large enough to hold a crowd. Conveniently located next to tons of solid restraints and bars to enjoy before or after any performance.
Went to the American Music Awards and had a blast. Great venue and had a great time. Took tons of pics.
Beautiful historic place, came here for Tony Robbins 60th birthday and enjoyed the show immensely. The way the stage lighting was designed and the projectors and the confetti at the end, sound was on point, basically a very nice experience and a very nice venue. Would love to come back here for a good concert. It’s really really nice.
Attended the Charlie Wilson concert for Valentines Day and had a wonderful time. I have been to Microsoft Theater before and finds it a great date place. We also had dinner at LA Live. The seating was good and people were delightful.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I attended this venue for the NBA Youngboy concert with a girlfriend and my boyfriend. We paid $400 for two pit tickets. People were aggressively trying to get in front of us and a girl threw a drink in my boyfriends face. He then got jumped by 4 guys who were with the girls. Security dragged out my boyfriend and told us we couldn’t re-enter the concert because he was in an altercation but didn’t remove any of the people who threw the drink at him or jumped him. Most unprofessional staff ever. & now we’re trying to contact them and they’re saying it’s my boyfriends fault and there’s nothing they can do. The staff is SO rude and unhelpful. AND they kept his Drivers license. Literally the worst experience we’ve ever had. Also won’t give us a number for corporates office.
My family is looking forward to the Espy awards next year in 2021.And my youngest son Rain, believes that one day he will get an espy award for basketball or football 10 years from today.
Venue is pretty good. Ushers nice and professional, the lighting equipment is very impressive.
I attended Tony Robbins 60th birthday party and fundraising event for Operation Underground Railroad to stop human trafficking. It was an epic event, raising almost $18M!! Parking was $30, but easy access to the event venue and not too far to walk. We sat in Row W Orchestra Left Center, great seats!
This theater is located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles next to the Staples center. Ive attended a few shows at this location. Very nice inside/spacious. Open bar and snacks to buy. Reasonable prices. Clean restroom. Helpful staff. VIP lounge a must to experience. Parking is adjacent(1 min walk). Outside of theater is restaurants, movie theater, hotels and bowling alley. Convenient spot and Safe community.
Really nice area and seats very organize rude staff that night. I dont blame them. There was a lot of rude people.
Nice theater. Decent concessions. If you go to a concert, and will be standing a lot, dont wear heels. The entire floor slopes down, instead of having steps. Great, until youre standing on a downhill slope in heels for hours. Not comfortable!
Went for the NieR concert and did the VIP experience. The unlimited food and drinks were pretty good.
Amazing location. Went for the Iheartradio awards and was not disappointed by the area it was held at. Lots of food, drinks and great views no matter where you were sat at it. Would honestly go again.
Nice concert venue. Parking nearby is expensive though.
Easy parking, great venue, comfortable seats, just knocked off a star for the cost and size of cocktails/wine. Will be back again...tailgating first!
Great place to see a show. All the staff was excellent. The sound was great, Brian Setzer of course was amazing.Had a few drinks at the Wolfgang Puck beer-garden, great service!Definitely would go back to hang out and see a show in the future. Highly recommended!
I am disabled which requires me to stand up to alleviate pain. I would get up an walk to the very rear - but in the back of the auditorium.I was constantly badgered to sit down by very rude employees.
I went to the Microsoft Theater for the hello future all girls event. The theater was in a nice location with staples center across the street, restaurant and bars right outside the door, and other museums a few minutes away. Inside was really spacious and the event was fun as well. There were two giant screens on both sides to make it easier to see the side. There are a lot of seats with upper and lower seats. The bathrooms were very big and there were many exits.
If youre a gamer at heart, then this place definitely needs to go onto your bucket list. So many amazing things to do here, especially if you come during E3!
Best Location Ever... Friendly & helpful staff!! Concession stand and other food lounge available with an adequate selection. Full bars accessible. Wish all my favs would show at Microsoft Theater.
Had the time of my life at Funk n LA, such a clean and well built facility. Everything has a place. Staffed by such lovely people. One lady helped me carry my food to my seat.
Came for Xbox E3 2018 and 19. Amazing both times, stunning visuals and booming audio thoughout the theatre during the Microsoft press conference.
Theater is beautiful and the people working there were extremely welcoming.
Great venue. I sat in row W center orchestra seat 313, good view. I never had to wait for restroom, plenty of stalls. One downfall, the drink cart ran out of more than 1 beverage so I ended up with a semi cold water.
Venue Its nice and clean. Drinks are a bit pricey but thats at all venues. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sound is great. Went to see Camila on 11/5/17 for their last concert. Had an awsome experience.
Nice place but lobby area for merch is small and theres no good place to line up for entrance. The venue decor is nice and the restrooms are clean. The seats are good from most angles, we had pit center seats and the view was incredible.
Was there for the Xbox briefing. Great space and a great show. Very nice and helpful staff too. Powerful air conditioning considering the amount of people and the temps outside.
Every seat in this theater is s good seat. There is no obstructed view and the inside is very beautiful. Around the area is lots of food places. In the venue there is concession stands on every floor.
Great venue. Excellent sound. In fact, hugh sound. Parking was an easy walk.
This is my theater however i dont recomend the food first time I have a bad experience besides the high cost. I found a hair on the popcorn and I submitted my complaint w/ the manager all I got was a $9 refound the workers doesnt wear a hair net or have their hair pull back they need safety food handling classes and requirements. Regal Please implement more safety food handling.
Went to see NCT 127 with my fiance and 2 oldest daughters had a good time!
The Micro Soft Theatre is the Place to go for entertainment..Parking easy access... GREAT
Beautiful restaurant. Very, very good service. The food was fantastic especially the sea bass dish. The tools too are particularly good. Would go back in a heart beat.
Everything about going here is amazing!Recently went to see Angela Aguilar and the detail to her show was amazing. And the staff always nice to us!!
Very nice place. Very big and open. I went there day after the Grammy awards and place was nice and clean. The stage was big. Chairs were comfortable.
Great theatre! Great sound! Comfortable chairs and helpful, friendly staff! Would love to see more shows here... Recommend
Easy to get to. Plenty of parking, however pricey. Great show. Angela Angela is great,Refreshing to see a multicultural singer.
Had a great time cant wait to do it again..
Awesome venue. Watched amateur MMA fights here, venue was so good seemed like a pro card. Great bar and awesome downtown location
AWESOME, CONCERT WAS VERY GOOD! EACH ARTIST PERFORMED TO THE FULLEST..KEPT AUDIENCE COMPLETELY INVOLVED ..ALL SEATS ARE PERFECT AND SOUND SYSTEM OUTSTANDING!!
I really enjoy coming to the Microsoft Theater to see live performances. The arena is big enough to hold several thousand people but small enough to see the artist close. Great place for great music!
Went to see the Game Awards! Massive theatre with good seating and right across the Staples Center. Must visit if there’s an event!
We had excellent seats 3 rows from the stage. I requested earplugs and the security got them for me. Great customer service
Great Venue, easy access for handicapped and entry and exiting was fast.
Ive been to the MS Theatre for a few concerts. My recent visit was to see TONI BRAXTON, BabyFace, and SWV. I had the greatest time! Concert was sold out, 7,000 people! The drinks are $15+ for about 4oz plastic cups. Thats a rip off but oh well. Other than that its in a great location, literally feet from the Staples Center. Parking is right across the street I paid $20. The time expires at midnight.
No smoking area, no re-entry policy. Just remember that those who first enforced non-smoking area were the Nazis in Germany. Those who thing that it was a good idea should think twice about the ideal world in a tolerant society.
Very nice was there for a throwback concert with a disability and was treated very well from a CYNTHIA S. from guest services she helped me to and from my seat very politely talked and showed me where restrooms were how to get a person to attend me if i needed to get up at anytime during the concert asked what time should she be back after to get me i told her around 5-10min after show the wheelchair was there was taken to get my scooter she also guided to the door we came in would recommend anyone to go see a show sound is good seats comfortable im sure going back
Very professional area very clean security was great was a fun concert had a good time it was easy to find in traffic was easy when we left
First class, if a little sterile, venue in the heart of LA Live. Ive seen some great shows here though. Staples Center is next door, as well as the Grammy museum, and a flock of restaurants. Parking can be a challenge if you dont want to spend much.
I love this venue. Every seat is a good one. We got nose bleeds for Jill Scott and it was still an AMAZING show. Great sound great visuals. Nice workers. Ive also seen Maxwell here and Duran Duran. Awesome
You could see from every seat! And the leg room is fantastic
Bright lights big city, welcome to Downtown Los Angeles at nightfall.
Waiting outside was bad organized, once you finally get in there was more help... food/snack terrible! NOT a good selection or variety just popcorn and some candy... NO where to sit in the lobby! We parents take our kids to this concerts (which are NOT CHEAP!) seats inside of theater are not comfortable, music is real loud and you as a parent step out to take a break and there is no seats in the lobby area... for the kind of money they charge for events this SHOULD IMPROVE AND BE BETTER...
This is a beautiful theater! Dont let the Microsoft branding cheapen it for you, it really is classic and an excellent place to catch a show. Bring your friends!
I love this theater! It’s not too big or too small. Perfect! Great location and a very big parking structure close by!
The show we saw was Dancing with the Stars. I took my parents who are in their 80s and it was a very long walk from the handicap parking to the entrance. Trying to find the parking lot and then getting to the theater was difficult. I would not recommend a handicap person going to this theater unless someone is pushing them in a wheelchair. When we went back a very nice young man from the theater escorted us. Restaurant lines were too long to wait. There was lots of drinks and snacks in the theater that you could eat during the show. Turkey wraps were $9.50, hot dogs were $6 and popcorn was $5. Cocktails were also available. The theater was comfortable and two large screens gave you great closeup shots.
Beautiful venue. Pretty big so I suggest getting a seat as close as you can, though the front of the balcony has an amazing view as well. Hope to return soon
Went to the Comedy Show with Mike Epps. Anyway you sit in here you can see. The seats are comfortable, plenty to leg room, love the air circulation. Nice place.
Its a great venue to see any show... theres not a bad seat in the house!
Sold out performance by Mercy Me. Easy to enter, friendly staff. Overall great experience.
There isnt really a bad seat in the house. I think the best part about this venue is its size. Big but not too big. I was here in December for a Maxwell concert and it was wonderful. Very clean and well maintained. Crowd was respectful. Parking is anywhere in LA Live so dont forget to budget $20 or so for that.
Always a pleasure coming here to play or to have fun with friends now was the turn of banda la peligrosa de jerezSecurity always on spot doing their job
Great venue, great staff, easy parking, and lots of room in the seats!! Saw Queen musical here. Was campy and fun! Will definitely go back if something else interesting is happening here.
Fantastic venue for concerts! Not every concert hall is created equal. Sound and light was perfect.
Loved the venue. It will be nice to hold the entrance during the performance. Just to show respect for the rest of the audience. But, place its great.
I really love attending events here. Ive had seats all over this place. I can truly say, theres not a bad seat in this place.

The theater is very spacious, and you can see fairly well from all the seats. Security is tight, also, as the doormen make sure to check the handbags of anyone entering. The floor plan is nice as well. You can easily find where you need to go. Overall, its an excellent theater.
Before changing the name of an ideal place, Michael Jackson is known to have rehearsed here just a few days before his death. I didnt get a ticket to watch the concert in England. This place will always remind me of the moments Michael Jackson had rehearsed with a clean heart and a childlike excitement. Just as Wondley stadium collapses, as Brian May says, They Never Wash Our Memories.
Great concert venue! Small enough to be able to see the bands performing.
Great theater seating all around. Nice social hang out spot. Lots to do. Entertainment and food!
I enjoyed the best concert of my life here. Dariush(a persian singer) had a amazing performance in Microsoft theatre!
Very big and and modern. Spacious enough that when its filled it still breathes and does not over heat. Food around the are is a little space so you might want to fill up before u get there.
This is a gorgeous theater. In the halls it features various pictures and photographs of performers and acts that have been featured there. Inside is a giant theater featuring great seating. The stage can be seen and heard from any place. Definitely recommend.
Coventiently located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, it offers a great experience regardless of the event. I went for E3 to attend the xbox briefing and it was comfortable, spacious and accessible.
Great space, it was very congested on our way out, after the event, going down the stairs. If we had to rush out of there due to some emergency. A lot of people would have been hurt.
Well we come a lot here with my SisterFor Concerts Parking was the issue before but now we buy tickets and parking on line is easier.!!!!
I attended a musical event yesterday, and it was my first time ever at this venue. You have to be there to appreciate the hall and the engineering that entails to deliver sight, sound, and ventilation to more than 7,000 people.Did I mention sound? I have never been to any hall can deliver such enormous volume and quality of sound. If you have a chance, go there!
Nice venue. Seats are roomy and comfortable enough. Venue is clean including the restrooms
Pretty cool venue, good sound, good seating over priced drinks clean bathrooms, nice staff and right in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.
The venue is huge, there are concessions on two levels, pricey for snacks. The seats in the orchestra section were roomy, even for tall people.
I attended the 2019 ESPY Awards yesterday. Place is awesome had a hell of a good time really good experience. Theater is really nice and the sound system is amazing. Got to see alot of athletes even met a few. I also got to sit where all the celebs and athletes were sitting it was a really nice view up close
The venue was packed with people enjoying Stephanie Mills, Confunshun and Charlie Wilson. A great concert on Valentines Day!!!
It was fun seeing Chevy Chase, especially the seat in the pit that I had. The only bad part was the Theater was quite cold like the heat had not been on for days. That is why I had to give 4 stars instead of 5.
Great friendly staff. Plenty of ease of access parking, and great sound for music events
