We had our team dinner at Lusk and it was really well managed. We got our private section to start out with cocktails. Drinks were well made. Lighting was appropriate. Dinner table was spacious enough to seat 30 which was perfect. Meal was yummy as well.
I attended a Lauren Daigle show at The Warfield With my daughter last night. Lovely venue with a very intimate feel. Parking isnt always the best but I lucked out and found a spot close by and free of cost.
I came here with my friends. We played billiard, then darts. The bartender was really nice. Cool place.
The food is 5 stars. We got the lasagna and bolognese, which was fresh, savory and some of the best pasta Ive ever had. I loved that the lasagna was made with bechameand parm and not ricotta. (Im not Italian and this is obviously just my personal preference.)
Yuengling is here and thats 5 star . God only allows it in like 15 states yet they have it here.
I walked by there today. It was poppin even though they closed :(
The drinks here are exquisite and beautiful. I love all the garnishes, some with flowers, some with umbrellas, some with whipped cream, and all sorts other things.
Great music and drinks. Funny drunk people. Its like a show with a show afterwards. Great little taco stand outside on the weekends!
Its a great spot if you wanna enjoy some music, the bar has a pretty good selection as well. The upper and lower sections are separated by a pretty thick door, but you can still enjoy the music. Theres also a photobooth for those who want to remember their time here.
Nice place to see performances. Nice stage size. Two bars available. One upstairs one down.
People were friendly and inviting. The live bands were great and the drink specials were even better!
80s night was fantastic. Great DJ, everyone dancing and having a good time.
Had an amazing night. Drinks werent the best Ive ever had but music and company made it all better
I love this place. Great atmosphere, Good music. We had an amazing evening. Well come again for sure.
Nice bar! Really nice ambience with some really good drinks. Also love their live music, definitely makes for a good time. Not a lot of seating though, so if you are looking for a place to sit and chat, would recommend somewhere else.
An intimate space with a cozy enclosed bar area towards the back of the venue. It can get a little toasty in the thick of things, so dress comfortably! It was really cool to see the bands performing able to mingle with fans after and before sets. Further, their tap list is great and the staff are friendly. I recommend seeing a show there and if you have time, try a walk around the neighborhood. There is a beautiful park up the street from the venue.
Great local music spot. The sound is perfect and stage set up is good. Drink prices are usual for an LA venue. Cant wait to go back!
Came for DYC. It was a really cool bar and the bartenders made the drinks nice and strong, but 3 of the people who I went with had their phones stolen while we were dancing. They all had them in their purses, zipped closed. About 5-10 minutes later, they realized their phones were gone but it was too late. One also had her wallet stolen from her purse.Good place but not a good crowd. Be sure to keep a close eye on your belongings here.
Small but intimate saw Teddy Swims and Nia Andrews great show
Im not usually a negative reviewer but the greeter was pretty rude, I didnt know you couldnt have a backpack inside because their website didnt say anything and I had just moved to CA from IL a month ago so I had no way of knowing (and I had Uberd there so I couldnt keep it my car or anything). I saw the sign out front when I got there so I asked if they could hold onto it for me. I got an eye roll in return and was treated as if it was a huge inconvenience. The bartender was also just sub par, not rude but not friendly either. Not my kind of vibe, sorry dudes
Great venue... Saw a rat... But great venue
Another great Logan Square bar. This one combines live music or DJs with craft cocktails. Theres also a patio out back. Definitely not a place for a group as it is quite small, but a good alternative to Slippery Slope - better drinks, more intimate space, but still a fun spot to get your groove on.
Im from NJ. And I really like this place. So yeah man
I like this place it’s pretty chill and some good local artists come through there
Been here twice in the past two weeks. Friendly staff with good prices. Cheap valet parking in an area where the parking isnt exactly plentiful is a real big plus. How can you beat a $2 beer flight and free music?
Great atmosphere, live group that was playing was great!! Only reason for 3 was the bartender wasnt involved and wasnt interested in providing service kinda killed the vibe. Bouncer/greeter went above and beyond great attitude
My fave spot to see bands in LA!
Cool little venue for more underground artists.
I highly recommend seeing a show here. You can come a little early and grab a bite to eat, the drinks are strong, room to dance, and the overall vibe of this place varies with every show (in a good way).
Had a really fun time here for Dance Yourself Clean! Drinks were all nice and service was good. Things seemed relative clean as well.
Very chill environment.. good people
Great show. Fun people.
Good vibes, good music, excellent drink selection and prices
They usually have great talent here
Went last night. Food was awesome and we had a phenomenal waitress who was so helpful with menu items and anticipated our every need!!
Good times ! Great location ..
Ive never ACTUALLY gotten inside but the line is delightful- the ice cream shop and the 7-eleven nearby are truly clutch friends. Get a water and a sugar cone and ride the wave my friends
Great little music venue!
Fun incarnate.
Intimate. Excellent sound
Love this place. What a great light show.
This venue is awesome! I drive up about once a month or so for DYC on Saturdays. Im a long time DYC die-hard originally from Seattle, and this place matches the same vibe as Chop Suey in Seattle. Keep it up!
I like this bar/venue a lot. They host quite a few of themed nights including CandiPop, a complete bubblegum pop music dance party.Bartenders are all nice and the crowd is pretty decent and very Silverlake. I like the back bar more just because its less crowded.Consider bringing earplugs because the music is SO loud.
What an amazing place to see music or play music. The people that run the satellite are so nice. The sound engineer was a wizard. My voice never sounded better ever period after words I spoke to him and he said use diminished quarter tone sustain... Its all foggy now but man what a great place. I saw the Beastie Boys play here and then Mike Watt from the Minuteman got up from the crowd and started playing bass and then Julian Lennon showed up with some beautiful women and just watched everybody
This is such a great, casual place to hang out! Its more of a dive and the crowd is local. The drinks are cheap for LA and there are always bands or dance nights going on. It is located on Silver Lake Blvd so there are tons of cool little mom and pop shops around to check out before a show. There are also great restaurants nearby. The venue offers valet parking for $5. There is also street parking available. 21+ only.
Good spot for live shows/dancing in Silverlake
Candipop, their monthly bubblegum pop music party (third Friday of every month) is one of my favorite events to go to. Ive gone almost every month and I have never had any bad experiences. The crowd who goes here is always pretty chill, people just dancing and singing along to top 40s, 90s and 2000s pop hits. No one gets super drunk, you get a free balloon/cotton candy by following them on Instagram and its just plain fun.
Good selection of beers, OK sound.
Great Silverlake staple. Lots of free shows with original live music.
Great little venue for seeing bands. Their sound system is amazing!
Nice dive bar feel with live music constantly. Nice size dancefloor with a simple stage but great sounds. Shoutout to the sound tech making sure the bands sound great. Their drink prices are great and have a huge selection of top shelf alcohol. There is also self served water which is ideal to keep hydrated. There are a few sections to this bar so you dont feel stuck in one spot.
Low-key local venue for live music. The open floor for dancing (or, standing with your beer and swaying, as the hipsters tend to enjoy) is large and has always accommodated the crowd whenever I have been there (even at their weekly dance yourself clean events). The beer selection is not tremendous, but at least they support local breweries like Golden Road. I also like that there are two bar areas; one near the music, and one up a small staircase in the back with some tables, in case you wanna just hang out and talk with people. Beware of parking in Silver Lake, though. Many of the local streets have parking restrictions after 11pm, and parking enforcement is VERY quick to ticket.
Im better than any band that sets foot on this stage
Dope venue. Always good vibes 2 bars! Lots of beer options and cocktails. Go here.
Fantastic place. Owner was a pleasure to deal with and quite knowledgeable with a wealth of information. Store was very welcoming and comfortable. Reasonable prices. Will certainly be making more visits.
Music was on point!! And seen a a few old friends from middle school!!
January 31st features Charles X performance! Saw this hot New Artist if Paris, France what a awesome show! A must see! ! ! People come out to play. Peace
My friends and I came here for Dance Yourself Clean, which they hold on Saturday nights (or at least they used to. Not sure if its still going on anymore). We tried to find street parking so we could avoid paying for it, but this neighbourhood was not cooperative. So in the end we had to pay valet. There is also a small entrance fee for everyone if you arrive after a certain time. The venue has two floors. Each floor has its own bar; the first floor also has the dance floor while the second floor has a more chill area with a pool table. The restrooms are also located on the second floor. The second floor bar tends to be less crowded than the one on the first floor, so we would always go to the second floor bar to order our drinks. The dance floor is not very big, but its big enough :P The indie music was fun to dance along to and right before midnight the band performed a song live for us. Its a fun crowd and we all enjoyed ourselves. There was a food truck right outside the entrance so we got food afterwards. Im not sure if its the same food truck usually or if they rotate on a particular schedule. It was a chill night to drink and dance yourself clean with friends.
Small venue with mostly indie bands. Ive been here 3 times now and it has always been a fun atmosphere, although I never feel cool enough to be there. The bathrooms are located in kind of a weird area. The beer selection is very good.
Nice place for indie music. Not sure if the acoustics are great. Excellent array of viewing options with a room up the back.Wide selection of beers.
Fun place. Not sure why the music had to be so loud for such a small space, but I am clearly quite elderly for making such a statement.
One of my favorite small venues great beer selection. Great staff
Dive bar/lounge type of atmosphere. Talented musicians
Neil Hamburgers monthly is always good. And only $8! $5 pbr drafts and seating for the early birds
My name is Kenneth Thomas and this is my review! Dude, I am STOKED that NASA has an affiliate in the hippest hood in LA! I never thought Id be interested in astronomy, but this place has got me psyched! Cant wait to visit!
Drinks are a little pricey but its a pretty cool small venue.Too bad its a place of business where people go to escape.Really nice staff and welcoming vibe.
Great space and atmosphere. Plenty of street parking
Good dance music. Chill people. Fun time
I dont remember coming here but damn this place looks cool
Great music! Fun place to hear the up and coming new bands! Will return next time in LA!
One of my favorite places to go out in LA!Dance Yourself Clean every Saturday night always playing the best indie pop, and always a good crowd
Great venue, saw an awes9me show there with many good bands.
Came for the Brandon Wardell & friends comedy show and it was a really good time. Easy to get in, intimate venue, many seats and good drank. The comics were dope and the audience was v receptive. The only thing, drinks are kinda pricey but I guess that might just be the area [silverlake cough cough]. Def coming again.
Lame and creepy! And Doesnt hold a candle to the good old days when this place use to be called Spaceland.Security repeatedly harassed me at my car all the way down the street after I left. Front desk was pretty stuck up as well. No wonder it was empty inside...a ghost town.
Ive been here a couple times for different shows. Pretty alright venue space. Several times the sound guy was not doing a good job. Always really great people at the ticket counter.
Really enjoyed the intimate setting this place has. make sure you come on time if there is a time posted because the line gets hectic. parking is the worst so make sure you Uber here. overall the venue is great and pretty big but small enough to enjoy whatever you are here for.
God damn, its loud as can be. Parking is limited, the music is way too loud ( I know concerts are generally load, but my ears were ringing for days after), it could use a little bit love on the inside as it looks pretty old, and it smells like cigarette smoke. Not the worst venue Ive been too, but its also not much better.
Good vibes & free spirits
A little too foggy inside, but its a good venue
Decent venue with good drinks. Liked it better before the remodel, but life goes on...
Vocals of band were not heard, sound system had vocal mics too low
Very cool place, the space is used in an interesting way, and its located in a quirky neighborhood.
When youre a hipster but need a better atmosphere to dance and flirt in than the coffee shop... just go here
Favorite small venue! Especially for dance yourself clean. Cheap well drinks and good crowd.
Ok bar for young people. Kind of raw looking for my taste but overall ok. Good music concert.
Great venue for music and comedy. Staff has always been friendly. Parking is ok if you want to pay and arrive early. Otherwise, get your exercise on and park on the street about a half mile away.
Always a fun weekend with Dance Yourself Clean. I wish they would play a SLIGHTLY more upbeat blend of music though.
Great sound, great beer
Its lit
Woohoo, hands down one of my faves! Good drinks, great music and best of all- no cover!
