If theres time before a concert at 12 galaxies or Amnesia, stop by Bissap Baobab for some food. Where else can you get Sengelese food in the city? Ok, some yelper will have a response Im sure... but this place is still great. The service isnt the best, but the atmosphere is relaxed and that matters more to me... ymmv.

Came here to see Guster and really enjoyed it! I LOVE that there are apples out during the show, and they were pretty darn good! A perfect treat for a late night walk home. Overall it was easy to get around, especially on the floor. We were traveling as a pair and found it easy to navigate through the crowd and find good spots despite being pretty short. Really neat place, recommend checking out.

This is a cool little venue. Parking here is very limited so I would factor that into your plan for getting here. I really like the vibe they have, but something about it just comes across a little sketchy. A bonus is that the food here is actually pretty good. I got the veggie slider and for ~$14 it came with fries and was a decent amount of food.

Great club. Saw an amazing Burlesque show. Very fun spot. If you can catch this group there definitely do it. Good drinks and great staff.

This is a pretty small venue with a minimal bar. If you are looking for an intimate experience with a band it might be good, but kind of small for a club. It has a decent patio for smoking though.

I really like this place. Seen many funk/ jam bands here. Have been blown out of my mind on mushrooms at Fais and other then the guy who kept trying to dance with me, i felt very comfortable.

Laid back place. Easy to hang at. Music was fun, but the beer and wine selection wasnt great...

The parking here is limited and its on the corner of a dead end/ cul de sac so its best to rideshare. They have live music and both beer and alcohol. Not much of a wait to be served.

While no longer capable of presenting the calibre ( artists such as Big Joe Turner Eddie clean-head Vinson Pee Wee Crayton Etc just not being around anymore even so the quality of Blues and other genres first of the year presented here are first-rate the food is wonderful and the atmosphere warm

Great music club with what looks good, limited bar menu- like great chicken wings..not swimming in tobasco. Largely hipster audience, mostly African-americo, Fishbone band members working out jams..And furiously fun music. Good open size.. corner location with door on side street. There was a Cover charge..There are some tables, acouple bar stools, mostly standing crowd. Very loud and hippie, young, authentic ..neighborhood club.

Its a club that smells of stale beer, but they lend the space out to the community for clothing swaps and rehearsals. Street parking can be challenging and the restrooms can be quite dirty.
