I was here 2 days ago for my Birthday Party! All the servers are great, the music was great and so is the pricing of alcohol. Love the environment and will definitely book a table in the future!

This can be really fun if youre in the right mood. Some nights are definitely better than others since the exhibits and themes change often. I tend to like the exhibits that are more entertainment oriented and interactive. You can also buy drinks at a number of locations within the museum. If you like to play with toys while drinking, you should check this place out.

Amazing venue. I was there to photograph Marcelo D2 as part of his American tour. The venue was fantastic, great layout and setup. The place was bouncing with a great atmosphere.

I absolutely enjoy working with Sarah - she is easy to coordinate with and fast to respond. Very professional. Swanky venue- we always enjoy coming back! Highly recommend hosting your party at this venue.

Incredibly nice & upscale. Trendy and outgoing! This is my new favorite spot in Downey. Photographers on site and attractive but sweet bottle girls. Lets not forget to mention the outstanding Djs with all the hype! A hip-hop side and Spanish/Mexican music side. Super dope and nice scenery including attractive guest.

Always have a great time at Bootie. Kind of like a divey Club feel. The staff here is actually really nice without the usual gruff treatment you might get at similar places. Bouncer Queen sized is the man! If youre in the mood to get wild on a Saturday and not too skittish, this is the place to go.

If youre looking to dress down and dance very ratchet, Bootie LA is the place.As you enter through the front doors theres a waft of heat and humid air reeking of human sweat. Ya know its gonna get CRAY. The front of the stage can get very crowded, but the back has a bit more open space. Beware, youll be sweaty at the end of the night cause there is no circulation / AC in this club, so wear something comfortable, light, and you dont mind getting nasty.

Bootie is a mash-up party that happens at the Cherry Bar the 2nd Saturday of the month. Whats a mash-up? A mash up is when you take the vocals from one song and mash it with the music from another to create a new cool song. Many mash-ups feature half a dozen more songs added in. Its fun figuring out the songs used. One of my favorites combines Devo with Destinys Child. Fun! The scene at Bootie is kinda nerdy high school vibe which is just the way I like it. Dont have to worry if you are cool enough for school here.

THANKS, BOOTIE! and to all of my friends for the best 30th birthday dance nite EVER!!!! The mash-ups were ah-MAY-zing and the crowd was so fun and diverse! You can dress up or come dressed as a zombie, and no one cares! My favorite part of the nite was dancing on stage with my friends and newly made gay besties who at one point stopped and let myself and everyone of my friends know how hot we were. youre hot, youre hot, youre hot and youre hot! pure epic-fest.

This is place is just awesome. It can never be compared to any other night club.

The club is cool, Ive been a few times. Usually, the DJs are spot on and the place is hopping, but one time it was pretty dead and not much fun. Id go back again, especially if I knew in advance I liked the DJ.

They pull in some good performers, always a good time!

I like the place. Good food and drinks. Plus fine women. Wasnt too fond of the atmosphere though. Young guys everywhere making a ruckus. They need to behave like normal adults.

This club is not big, but pretty cool. I came here twice. One night the DJ was mixing amazing music and we had great fun. The other night music sucked, crowd was boring and it was a disappointment. I guess I need to go third time to make up my mind about this place.

Excellent! Great food and awesome cocktails - for breakfast. The entire space is very small and there will likely be a line but it is worth it. The chef/owner knows how to make a delicious and fresh meal. I had the sausage egg biscuit with a side of brunchkins (homemade donut holes sitting in fresh Carmel sauce. Definitely going back.

Discovered this place via Groupon. So much fun! Fabulous dancers and good eats. Nice and energetic bartenders and food servers. Recommended for couples or groups!

I HAD to visit the place, as my favorite artist was on tour and performed at the Lure.What a horrible venue! Inconvenient, people smoking on the dance floor (DO LAFD KNOW ABOUT IT), absolutely outdated and dirty.One doesn’t feel safe there. Their only pro is a location...I do hope, less concerts and worthy events will be held there. Please, be respectful to the audience and move them to the nearby Avalon, for instance!!!

Great music and ambience. The live shows add to the experience and its not super clubby, which is nice. There are several rooms playing different music (hip hop/rap, techno, top 40...)

Its cool Dj kept the party going wished more people dance though but its cool yo hang out and chill with friends.

Pricey, as nightclubs are. I cant say if entry was good or not because I was part of a club crawl that got us past the line. Drinks were rather small for the price. The club was spacious and it seemed like they did a decent job of keeping it full without overcrowding it, but no real seating since this place uses all of its booths for bottle service.

The customer service is extremely poor. The staff was extremely rude. Mid question, the host at the door said I cant talk to you and walked away. The event was advertised to be 10pm-6am but everyone was put out by 2:30am. Huge difference! VIP was in no way exclusive and crowded.The club itself was mediocre. The music was good. I did not have an opportunity to try the bar. It would have been nice if a last call for alcohol was given so I actually knew the bar was closing.Lina was helpful and accommodating. Definitely a hidden gem. Unfortunately that wasnt enough to salvage the place. I would never go here again. Spend your money at a club who actually appreciates your business and treats you as such.

Terrible employee training. the bouncer or security guards have poor judgment when it comes to safety I did not see anyone being searched for weapons or any type of harmful objects. the guards were more focused on looking there part than actual safety and did not think of the customer or guests first. i only saw one guard that not only looked professional, but carried himself professionally. He was a large pacific islander man. he seemed to be in his forties so maybe thats why he did not carry himself like the other young men. i definitely recommend weekly meeting on safety and training on how to handle confrontational situations. i did see a fight that night and lets just say the guards were more than disappointing. They were unprepared and when they finally reacted to the situation they acted more violently than the customer. just to prove they were in control. I recommend a new staff .to the manager i recommend to hire guards who are experienced and have character with safety in mind. Not hire them because they are large or look thuggish in crowd. very disappointing.

A really nice venue to go to for clubbing. Theres lots of street parking on Ivar if youre lucky! If not, there are small lots that are 5-6 bucks on Ivar too. The place looks really nice and its pretty fun with a big group of friends. If you didnt get a table, be prepared to dance all night for 3-4 hours! The only complaint I have is drink prices, but then thats the price of almost every club. Drinks were 15 and up, which is pretty high but oh well! Dont bother bringing in a jacket,cause once you dance for a couple hours, youll be all hot and sweaty!

This was first night club I been to in L.A. When there in Asian night, didnt like it that much. It was way way too crowded. The decor is interesting with led light ball, as well as bikini pole dancer. $20 admission is not bad, is free if you are sexy lady. This isnt the club to show off your dancing skill, theres hardy any room for it...I cant stand the songs selection this club, is way too technno and upbeat. I like Draft Punk, but this way too much.

An LA night club that also hosts day time events. The dance floor is very vibrant with modern-hip decor/lighting. The dance are also has a good amount of seating including 4 bars in various parts of the club as well as an outside patio. I definitely recommend this club at least once if you have never been it.

Went there for a holiday part. The space was huge and combined with Le Jardain. Its a really cool space, with awesome lighting and a great sound system. I imagine it gets pretty crowded on DJ nights.

Nice place. From the pictures it looked like a massive dance floor. When I arrived it was 70% bottle service tablespecially and only 2 benches to rest at. Also $28 for a whiskey coke. Twenty-Eight Dollars for a whiskey coke. It was already $70 for VIPER Access on Halloween. Most I ever paid for drinks in Tokyo was equally to $7.

The venue looks pretty outdated, but it was rather easy to get into. The downside of bottle service is that security is really lacking, and people can easily go into your table and cause drama. We had two separate occasions of people coming into our table, and we had to hunt down the venue employees before things were taken care of.

Ive had several experiences with LURE that were all a bit different. For a sponsored event, LURE was a fine little venue in which it was spacious enough to walk around, grab a drink and view some cool art. For a club on Fridays, it was pretentious and tough to get through. We had a very combative staff battling our party all the way in (and out). On Sundays, things chilled out with a much more laid back crowd, staff and a better time. Drinks during the club night were +$10.Parking-wise, try to avoid the Arclight structure as youll be paying over $10 without a movie validation. There are lots nearby along with street parking.All-in-all, a weird little venue that has some ups and downs depending on the night you visit.

Typical rude Attitude Vip bottle. Cant even ask a simple question or try to get a deal with bottle service without getting freaking attitude. They act like they are god this entertainment industry. Definitely will never go here again.

Was practically empty inside initially. Yet there was a whole group of people waiting to get in and the line wasnt budging. We were VIP with hardly any wait. Bottle service and staff were excellent. As the night went on there was no room to dance and the DJ was screaming F Donald Trump. Biggest con is the layout here. VIP takes up a lot as its scattered through out.

Did not have a good enough time for how much we spent. I had moved for a minute to tell my man something then scooted back and caught this like 50 year old picking up our phones. We were in our VIP section. Then he stood between our section and the other VIP section, which was a bride to be and her girls. I watched him and saw a vial of coke in his hand. Disgusting! He was talking to security then joined the brides VIP area for the rest of the night. The girls were having such a great time getting wasted, they didnt realize other men and women were coming up to drink their alcohol. Also, two guys asked our friend if he wanted to buy meth. The DJ played great music but I felt once you found your groove to each song the next one started. NEVER returning.

I just went here for the grand opening where Wolfgang Gartner was performing. Let me first start off by saying this place is huge. For about 15 minutes youll just walk around trying to find out where everything is. After that you find out that theres 2 stages, one outside and one inside. The lighting, decor, and bottle service outfits are all pretty grand. This is a new hotspot, going to be a great summertime spot theres a lot of bars so it isnt that hard to get a drink even when its crowded.

Yesterday was my first time there I enjoyed the music and the environment was great, The host of the club is really great too.

The club was ok, on a Saturday night. We were with a promoter and the security guard letting us in was very rude from the beginning. Fast forward, the club is ok. Music is ok, but it’s 12 and it’s dead. Not a lot of people here. I was sitting on the couch when security approached me and told me to get up. I listened to them, but not sure why I had to get up. He then pushed me off out of the VIP booth we had which was on a ledge, and I fell from about two steps. I was wearing heels and he pushed me, but he claimed I was too drunk and he had to kick me out. I didn’t fall because I was drunk! I got a grade 3 sprained ankle that night and had to take two weeks off of work. DO NOT GO HERE. Security is rude and the club all around isn’t worth it! If I thought my case was worth it I would totally open up a lawsuit over it.

This is a place you call topical fake LA. Born and raised here and way better places in LA for a club night out. Had a table and wasnt that fun. Saw many girls slip and fall due to a wet floor. Just waiting for a lawsuits....

This club is the worst club Ive ever seen. People smoke weeds, cigar and cigaret. Securities only watch people and they could not even control a little fight. I was there with a group of friends Saturday March 22, 2014. We had tickets, but waited in line for about half an hour. Be aware if you care about your safety, do NOT walk in to Club Lure.

My friends and i came here as part of the club crawl toward the end of the night so we spent a good hour and a half here before the club closed. I recommend doing the club crawl and paying $25 as thats also the price of the door cover here, plus you will be standing in a long line to get in. With the club crawl you get VIP access. I drank $10 Titos mixed drinks all night but thats pretty much an expected price at one of LAs hottest night clubs. It was pretty easy to get a drink and I never really waited longer than 5-7 minutes for a drink and considering that Fetty Wap was there thats pretty reasonable. I would definitely go back!

Be prepared to drop a lot of money here. The cover is usually expensive, the drinks are expensive (even call drinks) and they would much rather you and your friends pay for bottle service to your table anyway and when has bottle service ever been anything but expensive. Your money does pay for a premium club experience though. They recently remodeled and the end result is a really chic, premium yet comfortable night club experience. They have an indoor dance floor but one whole wall opens to a very nice outdoor patio area with comfortable seating (and dance floor over spill on warm nights). They also book some top name DJs who often do stints up to several weeks to a month (and occasionally longer). The rotating DJ schedule is one of my favorite things about this club because you can often find big room event Vegas DJs here without having to go to Vegas. Just remember to get a pink slip loan on your Porsche before hand. You are going to need the money.

Snobby white guy who works the front will ruin your night. Do not go to this club if you want to wait an hour or more in line. Playhouse and supper club is way better than lure.

Cover for men is $40 women $20. They dont even have the ingredients to make a Manhattan. My whisky sour tasted like whisky and margarita mix. I felt like I went back 10 years with the trashy music they played and the crowd it attracted. Stayed for 20 min and would never go back.

This review is mainly for the do over lures day party only on sundays 2 til 10pm. It was cool the venue is hughe and seems like dj jazzy jeff is a regular. It was cool vibe the music is all over the place which is why i gave it 3 stars also its 18 and up so it felt werid partying with the young ones but overall the club was pack couldnt really move but for my next trip ill try something else on a sunday

Ok so last night when I got to the club, I went to another line and I said Im with A#### and the guy said thats on the other side, I walked to the other side, so the promoter came out, hes trying to get there attention to let me in...Im standing there for a good 5-7 mins. No one said nothing to me, didnt even look my way. So these 2 white girls came up! The guy went straight to them, and said how many and who are you with?! The girls said 2 and I said make that 3 because Im with A#### too!!! And he said oh ok 3 and then I said I been standing here for like 10 mins waiting. And some other idiot said, what! And he said that happens sometimes.. Really?! If he would of came to me first and said something even know those girls came, then it would of been different.. But to go straight to them, I should of just walked away.At the end of the night I told that guy Im comfortable with who I am. Its stupid, the promoter is black..idk smh

Im 58 and 130 lbs . These people slammed me on the ground and escorted me out the club simply because I was trying to get my friends attention on stage . There is this short black guy with cornrows that works in security and he has a short guy syndrome / superiority complex . He made a huge deal out of nothing and literally assaulted me because I wouldnt get off the stage . He was highly unprofessional and should be fired . He simply could of tapped my friend on the shoulder to get her attention and the problem would be solved . He then escorted me to this Asian guy and black girl who rudely lied to me . They told me to go outside and we would talk about the problem and then walked away from me . I NEVER go clubbing and the one time I did, I got treated like less than a human . Take your business and your peace of mind elsewhere cause this is NOT THE PLACE !!!! They should be ashamed of themselves .

This place is trash! Now Ive been to many places around the world many clubs/lounges/discotecs not one like this. It was are first time there, a group of six girls and myself went there to celebrate are girlfriends birthday and we thought would be a great night and good place to celebrate, turned out to be the worst. We will never go back! The security there are very pushy and aggressive. We were getting ready to leave the place and one of them kept flashing his flash light for us to move, we were walking out already but he aggressively kept flashing his flash light in are face. We asked that he not keep doing that, that we were trying to move and exit the place. He pushed my girlfriend with enough force to were she fell on the floor and at that point we asked to speak to management, management was not helpful at all. Theyre performance was unsatifactory in handling the situation.

Was there on concert. Like location but nothing special about the club.

Good music....alot of thiefs my phone my credit cards and my license got stolen right out of my purse :( watch out!!!! its not safe
