Very nice & clean theater in Los Angeles. Parking is very convenient; however one can expect to pay $2 to $3, after validation. During the weekdays, the whole place was not crowded. Therefore, one can pretty much pick any available seats. Their surround sound was impressive, but not sure it has the latest ATMOS or not, since I was unable to hear sound bouncing off the ceiling. Very pleased that I had the chance to checkout one of the finest theaters in LA.

Perfect venue for celebrating young storytellers in film. The African American, Oscar Micheaux Film Festival was exciting, inspirational and celebrated talented filmmakers from all around the world. The subject matters were insightful, comedic and heart felt. The nusic videos showcase as well as documentaries were intense and thought provoking. LA LIVE provided the perfect backdrop for excellence. Well staffed, polite, informative, gracious!

A really cool classic theatre with a variety of showings. I visited with my 6 year old for the singalong Frozen 2. We got there 30 minutes before doors open with a line out the front but they quickly opened the doors. We both got goodie bags filled with various things to wear and use during the movie (e.g. bubbles during snow scenes).

A five-star rate to this cinema house because they managed to maintain their facilities well. The seats here are very comfortable, and the snacks are really good as well. I was so astonished at how large this film house is. That is my first time here, and I will say it was perfect and well-organized. Theyve also fantastic men and women working for them who are extremely accommodating and considerate. The place is quite clean and has been quite comfortable to maintain. Ive been here a few times and have had nothing but great experiences with the customer service!! The seats are so comfy, and I love that each seat gets their table! The servers and bartenders are always on top of their game! What a fantastic place to watch a movie! Its better than the big screen at the malls. I will recommend this place to my friends.

We really enjoyed their 4D theater the first time we visited but ever since we continue visiting this theater! Distance is convenient and parking is good, we hardly ever find a crowded parking lot or theater there. Their Tuesday special is good too! Check it out! We enjoy receiving their screenings as well for being part of their rewards program. We really liked the Avengers end game movie we recently watched! The theater also had a nice suit display of the avengers And that was really neat to take pictures with. Customer service is always nice here, just wish they had a better systems for purchasing concessions bc theres a bit of confusion About the lines to buy your items sometimes. There was a man that was very rude to the lady Infront of him just because of that misorganization and there is no need to be rude to others specially to disrespect people that are older than us. I just felt situationsike those couldve been avoided if lines were clearly established. I dont know if I make sense but I just felt bad that poor old lady got mistreated when clearly it was not her fault where the lines began or ended.

I found Los Angeles movie theaters are unique in the United States. In Seattle yes we have some gorgeous theaters, like those in Lincoln square or southcenter. But here, there is more of a reverence for film. The influences are everywhere, and patently obvious. This theater is no exception. Even in one of the smaller theaters the sound was great the picture great and the seating... Well do I have to keep saying it? A great experience, definitely something to do within Los Angeles especially downtown if you have a few hours.

This place was nearly empty when we went and I had no idea it was so huge inside. So many screens! Great for date night in the city. Parking is $8 with validation and only in the parking garage next to the theatre. If you park in the other LA live garage they will not validate.

4DX is why I come here its a 30 min drive but worth it for the experience. If you watched a movie in 3D and are amazed wait until you come watch it here in 4D. Yup you get that extra dimension here and its insane, first off your seat will move you around as if youre in the movie make sure its an action packed movie like Hobbs and Shaw. Expect lighting effects in the theater, wind blasting at you and water, plenty of water that will make you think am I watching this or am I in this movie. If you like fighting scenes expect to feel them so you better be ready for that punch. They have some movie exhibits here so make sure your camera is ready, plus youll never know who might be walking around here.My Next movie that I would watch in 4DX is Terminator definitely worth the wait.

Only one person at ticket counter on a busy night with over a dozen people in line. No concession stands open on 2nd or 3rd floor. Turned off soda machine before the final film of the night ended and couldn’t get my free refill! Dude told me to save my cup & bring it back next time. I live in the area so I can honestly say this is how they normally operate.

First time here and I really enjoyed it. My mom and I watched Ready or Not and it was great! I thought I wouldnt be a fan of one scene movies, but this one caught my attention and kept me interested from start to finish. There were five people total and I wasnt mad about it, gave me the chance to use both armrests.I ordered the Spicy chicken sandwich with fries which was absolutely delicious. The fries are very crispy and the chicken sandwich was good. It was no Chick-fil-A but it still wowed me! The only downfall about this experience is how close the seats are together, I liked the rocking it had, but in the end, it was the closeness that turned me off. I also really appreciated how the huge the screen was. I didnt bring my glasses so I was scared I wouldnt be able to view the movie clearly.Overall I enjoyed the food and the comforble, clean surrounding this first time experience gave me!*Police guards check bags before you go inside the theatre*

This theater is in the heart of downtown LA. Beautiful scenery. Parking is great. recommend parking across the street( read sign says theater parking). Inside is amazingly beautiful. Food is delicious two different locations(upstairs and downstairs). theaters seating are comfortable and clean. Staff is pleasant.

When a new movie comes out that must be seen in 3D then this is the theater to see it at. The place is well maintained and staffed with friendly people, both times that I have been here I was treated like I paid a good amount for my movie, which I did. If you have time to kill you can stroll around LA Live, just hope that its not during a championship game or your car might be set on fire.

I just saw The Way Back at this Cinema House and loved the movie and the experience! The owners are great people. If you want a movie experience that is completely different from your oversized/overpriced cinemas, you have to check this place out! From now on it will be my favorite place with oldies movies.

Conveniently located within LA Live complex. Easy to find once you get through LA traffic if driving into the city. Theatre parking is convenient. Its right next to theatre but it is expensive even after validation ($8-$10 after validation). However, thats was cheaper than other lots for LA live. Large theatre, multi level building, clean, good service, comfy seats.

Its a nice theater they sell beer and have Starbucks inside.. For a Tuesday night it sure was busy.. I recommend the movie onward for kids loved the premiere..

At the girls scouts of LA frozen 2 premiere—two staff at most for masses of people totally willing to spend $ on popcorn. The managerial folks don’t seem to see a problem. It’s a 1 hour line.

Regal is really good. I like the design inside the theater, its visually really pretty and all the employees are really nice. Ive personally never had a problem with this place, other than the insane food prices. Avoid the concession stand as much as possible.

Great movie theater, good seat size. Omg they have mozzarella sticks as always prices for food is outrageously pricey, but they make up for it with quality and sizes.

Probably the nicest theatre Ive been to. Good place for a date or to hang out with friends. They sell drinks too.

So the seats vibrates and then these things near your ear shoot out air and the seat in front of you sprays water mist on you. It is quite the experience and is something very different. Almost like going to one of the theme park movie experiences except this is a normal movie. Sometimes the seat can be distracting. Dont put a drink on the holder. It will spill.

Theater is clean with easy access to parking lot. Girl at snack bar did not offer the cardboard container to share the popcorn. But, a different employee was very nice, and gave us the box with no problem.

Great experience took my friend and he loved it. They sometimes check women’s bags. They also validate across the street, which I didn’t know. You can park in the parking garage or across the street. Hope this helps.

Came here for a film festival and enjoyed the seating-- this is a HUGE theater. Service was good overall. Snacks and parking are expensive, but thats the same at every theater.Heads up: parking is fully automated, so you will need to take your ticket to get validated inside the theater and then pay at a machine in the parking lot before returning to your car.VIEWS: Okay, that said, the best part of this theater is the views of the city that you get from the huge windows that look northeast. I bet its gorgeous on a rainy day or just after a storm at sunset. Several floors have these views and these big open waiting spaces are probably a nice for lingering before or after a film with a date. Pro tip: time your date/movie to a sunset start or finish. ;)

Great location, always clean, fancy and perfect for a date. Staff is always very courteous and friendly. They partly validate parking which covers 50% of the parking fee thus gets 1 star deducted. Admission prices is about average to similar theaters now in Los Angeles.

Home of a million movies premieres for a reason. The only theater in the LA area to have a 4DX screen that jostles your seat around during action movies - HIGHLY recommended to try at least once in your life, theres nothing else like it. Great staff, too!

Great 4DX! Security searches you so I wish they would do that before your concessions purchase. Loading it all up to put it all back down is not easy. Beautiful theater though. You pay for parking in the garages. Also the theater is close enough to walk to the garment district. Its about a 1 mile walk. That was fun while we waited for your movie time to come.

We made the drive for a world premiere at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. It was worth it. Very comfortable seats and a good digital sound system.

Inordinately expensive but the theater was good overall. Great location! They serve beer as well. Was hoping for reclining seats.

To much for a ticket. To much for popcorn and other items. That theatre is getting lonelier and lonelier. I recently went with my family to see bad boys 4 life and thank God i we had some regal Christmas gifts to use or the total would of round up to be more than $100. I played 35 or 2 tickets. This is a good place to see a first-run feature film, though even if I can work past how much tickets cost ($14), which I guess is standard these days in L.A., the previews especially, and the feature only slightly less, were so loud that I wore earplugs the entire time, and this wasnt even an action movie. I hate to give points to streaming, but at least it has volume control going for it

It was great, my granddaughter Posse Induction ceremony was held there. The staff was extremely helpful, I needed assistance getting up the stairs, they helped me up the stairs and to my seat.

Experience was great! I went to watch IT Chapter 2 in 4DX and it was amazing. I enjoyed my time there and it feels just like other theaters. The popcorn is good and the snacks are great but they are overpriced compared to in store. Of course though, that would be in every theater. But it was great.

Very nice seats and not a long wait to get in. And they have a great selection of movies. But 5$ for a bottle of water?!! Insaaane.

The concession lines are always soooo long. Never any structure and I’ve seen people get into shoving competitions over what line was for what register.Other than that, it’s a nice theatre with plenty of bathrooms. The alcohol is so expensive here though.

Everything about this place is perfect except for 1 thing when you buy your popcorn they put the butter on for you and of course when you get half way done your popcorn has gone dry. Outside of that the theater is fantastic great theaters and the 4d experience is intense quality sound system, highly recommended.

First time at the theater to see the new Rob Zombie Flick and in the middle of the movie a Dish Network are you still watching prompt came on followed by the attached image. After waiting the crowd had to alert the staff. There was no one letting us know what comes next including the refund policy. When the movie finally came back on it was the wrong part of the film. For a limited release you think the theater would have a bit more attention to detail. Beside the movie being interrupted, a single small water bottle is $6, popcorn is stale and food is very poor quality in general. This place takes customers and their money for granted and going forward would be my last pick for a movie theater if and when other options are available.

Drink and eat and enjoy!, can never forget the time spent here.

Its a very nice theater. Very clean. Only problem is, its very expensive. It costs more to go to this theater than any regular theater. $17 per person for a regular showing of a regular movie without any food?! Plus you have to pay $8 for parking if you get validation?($10 without) Im sorry. Too expensive. Nice theater, great security, decent service(slow concession line). Nah too pricey.

Great experience, great theater, I would probably look into getting a better experience, I felt like I was gonna get thrown from my seat at any second, made the actual movie watching experience a little weird for me... I dont know if I will do that again unless they get better 3d experience first.. water and glasses dont match, and I genuinely dont like having to clean my glasses more often than like 4 or 5 and they were still smudged because of the 4d water experience scene.

Regal is the best Movie Theater in South LA. Their popcorn is good, food selection is decent. Seats are comfortable. Been coming here since they open and enjoyed every visit

Great experience from buying the tickets at the window, the ticket agent gave information on films we didnt know about. The theater is clean and the seats roomy. My mother was so comfortable that she fell asleep in the middle of an action pack movie! Definately a great place for family, friends and dates.

I loved it. I hadnt been to a theater in years and this place brought back many happy memories. The chairs are more comfortable than I remember. Cant wait to go back.

The 4XD seats are awesome, I am not a fan of the whole water splash but you can turn it off. Everyone should try it at least once! The movie experience is great! I brought my niece and nephew to experience Jurassic World!!

Like this theater. Never have been a fan of assigned seating. Liked it more when they didnt have it. Parking available. Reasonable price w/validation. Movie tickets too damn high. But its what the market will bare pricing. This location still checks your bags or purses b4 entering theater. Good security.

I love the theater, excellent customer service. The pricing although, it is a tad bit outrageous. Security should check every person coming through the area to go to the house of the movie of their choice, to prevent any emergency situations. As a security guard, it should be required that every person is subjected to be searched regardless if they do or dont have any luggage or belongings to their person.

Compared to AMC, it is not a very good theatre. The seating is very old fashion and you cannot adjust it to your preference. The movie ticket is so expensive as well. I watched an after noon show, Game Night, and it was $17 per person.

Well, it would have been great except for the fact that it was a 25-minute long line at the concession stand and the upstairs concession stand with closed. I dont know why but with that many people there I dont know why such a thing would be closed for 7:20 show. So spoiled me was not able to get any popcorn and drink for my show! I wish they had like a delivery service or something where they would bring the food to your seat or something. I mean really for one of the most expensive theaters in LA at ticket price at $17 all the concession should be open and they should be fully staffed so that you dont have to wait more than 5 minutes. Cuz I got there right at 7:20. I wish they had Wi-Fi because I dont have data on my phone. Also, I was having issues with my Regal ultimate pass and no one at customer service could help me with that Which caused me to spend an extra $25 But I was not able to use the ultimate pass to get my tickets.

I’ve been coming to this theater for almost 5 years now and it’s my to go see new releases. I saw the last two Hunger games in 4DX which it was great and worth it. The staff are nice I’ve never had a problem. The food is great I’ve tried most of it and it’s alright but the new Cheetos popcorn are my favorite snack. I love coming on Tuesday’s for discounted tickets and 50% off popcorn. Overall it’s a great theatre and I love coming with my family to enjoy new movies.

Love regal & their rewards program. This theatre is big and clean and has wonderful AC. However, they don’t have luxury loungers and their tickets are $17.50 a pop during the evening. Downtown Los Angeles theaters are so expensive. This is confusing to me because you can go to any other regal and their prices are almost $5 cheaper per ticket. If you have the extra dollars to spend on this theatre, I highly recommend.Edit: came here on New Years And was told I can’t have my pepper spray on my key chain??? Next time you come here don’t forget to take your pepper spray off your keys because here it’s an issue.

First time there and we were standing outside waiting in line where ppl were jumping ahead. As we are starting to worry if we are gonna make it in we start looking for an app to skip the line. After we get the app it would not take our payment idk y restated the process again line is moving slow. And it is time for the movie to start with the one person in the ticket booth it slow. Finally we are at the window get out tickets...yes we go I look around employee everywhere in huddles talking except to 2 struggling at the food counter and the 1 standing at another ticket booth that no was in line for. I dont understand why we were not informed that we could go in to get tickets, plus tther was a ticket machine on the inside. We get in the consession line again a wait really to long for all the employees not doin nothing. Finally in our seats. Wow we barely made. I can said I wont be back.

If you can, go during the week. Pretty slow, no lines to deal with. Saw my first movie in 4DX today. It was pretty intense but fun. Took several minutes for my head and stomach to get used to it (I had a big lunch beforehand) but I enjoyed it.

Tonight was the worst experience I ever had at this theater. I still love the movie US which I enjoyed. However, the customer service exiting was totally ridiculous! I went to the counter to get my ticket validated, like I normally do when I leave the theater. When this wretch asked me for my ticket stub. Not realizing my son had them in his pocket across the hall. So Im scrambling through my purse and I cant find it. She says if you have the tickets on your ph show me. Ugh,I explained to her I printed my tickets through my job. So Im like let me call my son. Shes still standing there looking like... Im not going to validate your ticket. Like where/when did movie theaters ask for your stub after spending all kinds of money entering their place and lets not forget concession stands ? Like seriously? I was one word away of saying let me speak to your manager, when she took my ticket and validated it. How uncomfortable and disrespected I felt. I am going to call them in the morning! Like Im a regal card member. I go to the movies often and this is totally rude! Just not making any sense to me!I hope that never happens again, let alone to anyone else!

Place is great and clean. The only this I felt uncomfortable by was the constant walk in by a walk in by a security or cop to see if the emergency exit to see if the door was locked after would walk and give a intimidating stare to the audience. WTF is that about? Im trying watch a movie not be afraid that Im gonna be trapped in here and feeling like there is no escape. If someone could explain why this happened thay would be great. The movie was Once upon a time in Hollywood at 5:30pm in room 14 3rd floor Thursday August 15.

Nice family place to go watch a movie at

Yesterday I went to watch Knives Out the 4 oclock showing in theater 14 and within 40 minutes of the screening the audio went out. An audience member notified a staff member about it and when he returned the audio was still not playing. After several attempts of rewinding the film and troubleshooting the audio it finally came on, however it ruined the whole viewing experience of the film.

Terrible for hosting large group events. Even with a 40-ticket commitment ($580 in ultimate tickets with concessions), they cannot reserve ahead of time. They do not think about creating additional value or ease of use for customers and are satisfied with the status quo.

As usual, had a great time. Took my 3 year old daughter to the movies for the first time to see Toy Story 4. She enjoyed herself and the theater was clean and comfy. Great experience!

Attended the womans short film festival. I didnt know what to expect but I ended up having a good time. We watched short films, had a round table discussion on the films, then voted on which we liked the most and why. I enjoyed the different views and conversations evoked from the films. Good times.

It never fails when I come here that someone talks throughout the whole movie. Ruined moviegoing experience yet again. I only come here for the convenience of it being so close to home but looks like its time to go elsewhere.

Great theater! Only thing is was there to see Avenger End Game for a radio station promo. The parking lot #4 is a joke! Had parking ticket validated for 4 hours to lower it to $8.00. Instead they charged $28 for 5 hours!!The girl there was a real idiot! Telling us the sign explains it, but when we caught her lie. She said, oh well its 28$ and you have to pay!Ill be calling someone tomorrow, to make it right

I love the design of this theatre since day 1, just wish they had more closer because PARKING for some shows are not plain NOT affordable in todays economy of small wages, sorry!!
