The Crest Westwood is in the heart of the Crest Westwood. Fairly easy to get to by Bart and Muni if youre like me coming from the East Bay. You basically come out of the Muni Station and bam there you are. You wont miss it. Well I almost did after my friend basically pointed...its there. HA! Well inside you have both balcony and orchestra seating.

Im pretty critical of movie theaters. And will make a long drive to have a great theater experience. Crest Westwood is one of the best theaters in SoCal.The theaters are always clean. The other patrons are respectful, the sound and picture quality are top notch.Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, a great snack collection and concession stand experience. There is even a coffee counter in the theater.

Super cool movie theater. Single screen but beautifully remodeled. Has a nostalgic classic feel. Had a very good time.

Its historic but its a total dive. Its gorgeous inside the theater. The bathrooms were really particularly gross. Theres not really food or drinks here to mention. It was also sorely lacking in air conditioning. I would not want to go here in the summer.

This place is okay. The seats arent the best and they didnt start the show on time. I guess it could be good for people who are constantly late. The show we watched started ten minutes late. The theater is big, but not all the seats in here are your regular theater seats. There are a few that are just foldable chairs you would bring to an outdoor party. And the theater seats are a little cramped. There is lots of metered street parking and theres a few parking spaces behind Crest Theater.Prices are not bad, and you can also buy tickets for Crest Theater online at Fandango

The seats are incredibly comfy, are already semi reclined and the armrests fold up for you Netflix and chill types. Parking is limited to the paid lot behind or hunt for the few metered spots that become available. There is only one theater here so special events tend to fill up quickly.

Could be a grand old nostalgic experience with modern technological comforts but falls short. Seats are comfortable. Screen is huge. Ambience is perfect. You can even choose your seats beforehand online. Although not that user friendly. Therein lies the problem with the whole picture here......almost like an old B movie goto where the townspeople have been replaced by robots or given lobotomies by the aliens! Something just off camera is preventing this place from flowing the way it should. I suspect ownership since its too small an operation to blame management. Its a shame because this place has the potential to be a gem, it just lacks the capability.

What a treat! The theatre is so beautiful, I cant believe I havent heard more about it. Ive lived in Westwood for years and just went for the first time. My friends & I used a Groupon, & saw Psycho on Mothers Day as part of their film series. Inexpensive, clean picture, and they even gave us free cookies & cupcakes at the end!? I only wish they showed first-run films, or was used as an indie movie house or something, rather than playing only 1 film a month. There are many theaters in the vicinity already, but they dont compare to the murals and colors at the Crest! Perhaps they could show second run films for cheap etc. Regardless, Ill be coming back, and bringing more friends!

I found a lot of popcorn on the floor between the rows and on the chairs before the movie started. Looks like they don’t clean after every show.
