I was surprised when I was able to get a room at a very affordable rate. The staff is very friendly, and the room is so big and comfy. This is very different from all the hotels Ive used before. They have excellent customer service and work ethics. A very remarkable and solid experience. Thank you!

This hotel is the cleanest and neat hotel that I had stayed in. It wasn’t my plan to stay in this hotel but due to a change of business location, I was so forced to check in here. We booked four nights at this hotel, and when checking in we were informed we had been upgraded to a bigger room with a balcony and sun deck. The view was fantastic, and the service from the cleaning lady to the front desk was top class! Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat yes, I would!

BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!From the front desk staff to the fan in the bathroom that sounds like an idle engine, this stay was horrible.Booking the room was easy and pleasant, as it should be when spending a few hundred dollars. We booked a double bed room and, as it was a long overdue trip, we had 2 friends come visit while we got dressed to go out. In the 45min they were here the front desk staff called our room 4 times and sent someone to pound on the door like a federal agent looking for a fugitive. Why? Because having friends stop by to pick us up requires payment of $50/person plus tax. We explained that they were not staying, just picking up and the hotel staff still kicked them out to wait outside.Upon walking in the room, things that were immediately noticeable were the hardwood floors and dusty desk tops. Also, they do not allow you any extra towels or wash cloths, not even extra waste basket bags. We stayed for 2 nights and had a lot of expense equipment in our room so we opted out of housekeeping, therefore asking for these things was the only way to get them. They declined and insisted we need to “trade” old linens for new and when agreed upon they then told us they couldn’t give us a waste basket bag to carry the linens down in. Luckily, I caught a housekeeper in the hallway and she completed the exchange for us with no hassle.Hollywood is a great place to be, but this hotel? I genuinely would have rather spent the night in my Jeep.

I honestly cannot believe the price of this place with the service, room quality and hotel quality I got for my money. Ive stayed at places similar to this at around $300/night. Its similar to Chateau Marmont, but a fraction of the price. The room was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The courtyard was absolutely magical. I wish I could have stayed longer. We stayed during Covid so we werent able to use the pool, but it was so cute. I would HIGHLY recommend this place!Oh, also its super close to everything and youve gotta check out the Los Feliz area nearby on Vermont between Franklin Ave and Prospect Ave. I saw Ryan Gosling at Skylight Books!

Great location! My friend and I stayed at this hotel as part of a tour and were really happy with it. The room was huge with a massive comfy bed, small tables & 2 chairs and a desk. There is also plenty of wardrobe space, TV, good air condition, and free WiFi. The bathroom is a decent size with a powerful shower and toiletries. The breakfast is great, please try of choice and it was good quality.

I liked the hotel, it was a comfortable stay. I did not like how small the showers were, but most of all, the incredibly expensive fee to park within the facility of $30 a night. Based on my experience traveling, parking should be complimentary for hotel guests. The first sentence from the front desk guy was, well allow you to stay only 15 minutes once you check in, unless you pay the overnight fee. Not quite the warm, welcoming phrase I was expecting.

I enjoyed staying the first time with a room on the second floor, but I did not enjoy staying the second time with a room on the first floor. The first time, I enjoyed my stay because the room was clean, the ambience was great, and the staff was nice. The second time, the front desk was not friendly, was confusing and the room did not feel clean after seeing its flaws in the restroom. Overall, I like that the parking lot and general area of Hollywood Hotel.

Im very happy with my choice at the Hollywood Hotel is OPEN. My Boyfriend and I spent 3 nights on the 7th floor and couldnt get over how cute this hotel is. Its definitely smaller than most of the chain hotels, but has a ton of character and is in a great location - 5 minutes to Union Square, 5 minutes to the BART / Market Street.

The mosquito bites were terrible, it was 3 in a room for four days, and they only kept leaving towels for two.... However the rooms and service was definitely decent....friendly and helpful staff.....

We stayed at your hotel for a week on a business/holiday trip. It was such a great location, its easy to get to the center of the town and all the tourist hotspots were amazing. The food was also very delicious and mouthwatering. What a nice place to relax! The overall experience was absolutely amazing! Strongly recommended to all!

They have a small gym onsite, but they also have a deal with the 24 Hour Fitness located on the corner of the block (one minute walk away) for free access during your stay. I really appreciated this because it meant I had access to so much more equipment and wasnt screwed if the only treadmill in the hotel gym was taken.

Front desk act like they dont give a sh... about their rating. They dont even follow same lie story. Rooms outdated but clean. Due to Covid they dont have restaurant, so no breakfast. If you come for business or school this is not the place you need. Overpriced parking. Park you car outside from 8pm to 8am its free then its just $1 in hour. I give one star just for housekeeping and another for their yard.

My family loved to stay at this hotel because we could relax here. They all have complete room facilities and the room is so relaxing. The staff spoke decent English and was very polite and explained the facilities available such as free daily entry to the onsen next door as well as priority access plus low-cost rooms. Positive: The entire set up of the room was cool,neat, modern and eco friendly. The glass shower was my favorite with the shower head coming from the top, it was the most amazing shower to have in the morning! Negative: The parking costs too much and the set up was annoying.

I booked this trip a whole month in advance, mind you I live hours away and it was failed to inform me that I had to pay for parking per night and that there was a deposit. The front desk was rude and completely unbothered by the inconvenience. Also this places looks dried out the pictures were definitely old as hell.

Love the look of the facility and very nice exterior. The bed was uncomfortable and at no control to the hotel there was loud noises from transients late night that causes disruption to sleep.

I was going to give this hotel 4 stars but then I remembered that I searched around for 4-1/2 hours before I finally found this hotel that 1) accepted my prepaid debit card (only requires a card with a chip and your name on it) 2) has open parking with no overhangs, I had a large piece of glass in the back of my truck that from ground to top of glass was 14 ft tall so my options in and around hollywood were very limited when it came to parking.I give the cleanliness of the room a 9 out of 10 which is typical but when paying over $100 a night I kind of expect the room to be perfectly clean but it was clean in all the right spots like the bed, towels, shower and floor.I give the room itself an 8 out of 10. Thats because it was in need of a modern makeover. Adding some usb ports, new tv and a new sink would be sufficient. If the cable was good I would have giving the room a 9.5 but the cable sucked. It didnt have Comedy Central, Cartoon Network (which I like to watch at night when it becomes Adult Swim) or Nickelodeon which are all my favorite channels (Nickelodeon I watch only when Spongebob is on).I did like that the room had a balcony which was nice when I wanted to take a few drags of a cig but didnt want to go all the way down to the ground level.The staff definitely by far deserves a 10 out of 10 because they were all super nice which is really appreciated.For amenities I give it 5 out of 10 because although they have soda machines located on each floor, the only option is Coke and diet Coke and after a while I got thirsty enough to actually drink a coke the machine ended up being sold out of them so I walked to the nearby liquor store.I will definitely stay here again in the future and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel that is clean, friendly and safe. You dont have to worry about your car getting broke into because they have gated parking which is nice.

Absolutely the worst experience ever I booked this hotel online based off the nice waterfall rooms in pool when I got here I could not find a place because I was looking for the waterfall the waterfall is located in the back of the hotel in the parking lot. The hotel is located next to a burnt down building. Parking is extremely high and there is no street parking unless you park at a meter. Not to mention they only take cards with the chip I was greeted by the hotel manager she was rude like she didn’t want be bothered told me to wait in line and wait my turn when I just had a simple question. I had To go to the ATM to get cash only to come back and they tell me I need more cash for deposit which should’ve been discussed in the beginning. My husband and I came down to get away from being in the house due to COVID-19 for our anniversary and this was a disappointment.I ask for the names of the staff and business cards I receive them but with attitude from another man who came in and caught his of a manager long story short park somewhere nice and just sleep in your car you’ll get treated nicer and most likely a better view!

First time visiting Los Angeles so we didn’t know where to stay or what to expect but we were more than pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The room was really nice and spacious with a great view of their courtyard. Breakfast was included and truly delicious, they had chefs cooking fresh omelettes and waffles and was way more than you’d expect for a free breakfast. As well, the subway was very close in distance to the hotel just a couple blocks. Overall an amazing stay. Only thing to note is that the surrounding area may not be the safest as there was multiple police officers around however, as two females traveling we never felt unsafe while in the hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for few days during our visit to universal studios.Pros: The location of this hotel is unbeatable. Very close to universal studios and downtown Hollywood.Very friendly employees.They have a laundry room.Cons: They don’t offer a shuttle to universal studios,Self parking.Place needs major remolding which they were working on during our stay.Rooms are very small, but the restroom is good size.The shower in our room was broken and leaking, they fixed it the next morning in way that it is usable, but still need change. Breakfast was very untasted. We tried it the first day, but we skipped it then.I am sure the way that they are working on the hotel it is going to turn out great.

The Hollywood HotelI been Staying here at The Hollywood Hotel couple of days at the time (past 60 days) and every single time I get special surprise charges based on what I had violations on from Verbal warnings ️ to penalties in amount of $50 and over.If you will staying at this Hotel please check the helpful tips below. All the the tips are from my personal experience.Cancelation: Based on the WebSite there should be no charge, but if you have a ligetement excuse that might & could work but not here.Management has a Excuse for everything they feel like to charge you for.Special attention on the guest that might visit you even for 1 min would be about $50-60 charge applied with out any pre-auth and specially by the manager since staff their are all wonderful and understanding.I have much more to say about this place, but will be in the later post.Just checking you acct daily and that would be the best thing to do.

This hotel has the worst customer service and the most rude, dishonest staff I have ever encountered! I canceled my reservation and followed their cancellation policies and still got charged on my card even though the front desk lady clearly told me I wouldn’t and they do not want to issue a refund. I feel like I was not taken seriously as me being a minority I felt very discriminated on the phone with them. Please save your time and money and do not stay here it also doesn’t not look like in the pictures it’s also in a very sketchy neighborhood.

There is absolutely no way that this hotel is a 4-star rating! We transitioned from a Hilton to this place after moving cities on our vacation. When we checked in, the front staff member answered a phone call to which she said there were ants in a room. After ending the call she said sorry to us, and that it was the guests fault for leaving food out! The initial transition was a nightmare! We were put in to room 215, and the second floor has a distinct bad smell, the elevator has an old metal smell trying to be covered by the air freshener in the trolly, it was not a good mix. I assume the smell on the 2nd floor was from the stained carpet. We went to the front desk to ask to switch rooms, and we were told that wouldnt be an issue, we would just need to come back later. We said we were going to the pool and the staff said that is okay. They did ask why we wanted to change rooms, and I mentioned the smell, I didnt even mention the appearance of the room, because I assumed every room was in terrible shape. When we came back from the pool there were 2 different staff at the front desk, and they said it was too late to switch rooms and that we would need to come back the next morning! They offered to send someone in to our room to spray air freshener, which was declined as it was the elevator and hallway that was the issue.My wife lost her necklace in the pool, and I mentioned it to the front desk, they said to meet the grounds worker at the pool after 6pm. We waited the 3 hours, and they said he wasnt there yet and should be there by 7pm. I went to meet the employee there and when he realized the necklace was in the pool he told me I needed to retrieve it on my own, that he wasnt getting in the pool. He said go down there and try your best! Even though I already mentioned that my wife tried already and it was caught on the filter at the bottom. I mentioned it was our honeymoon, and he scoffed at me, I turned to him and said excuse me? He was shocked I noticed his scoff and was speechless, I said the necklace was important, and he said theres nothing he could do.The staff told me they would connect with maintenance to look into the necklace. The following day we were told that they needed to connect with the pool maintenance. The front desk then told us on the third day that nothing was found. The fourth day my wife noticed her pendant was on the side of the pool - another guest must have found it and put it there. Later that day she saw the chain was also on the side of the pool. Luckily thanks to honest guests we got everything back.We got switched to the main floor the next day and it was a complete turnaround, the first floor is all tile, so no potential smell, and it seemed as though the room had been renovated in recent years. It was much nicer!The atmosphere is very uninviting. We watched the manager deal with a different guest that had a concern, and she kept saying she apologized, but it was clear in her tone, body language, and overall stature that it was not genuine. She did not seem inviting, it would seem to be useless to involve her in any of our concerns that we had so far.The 2 morning staff (females) that work the front desk, one is Nicole, and I couldnt get the other staff name are phenomenal - they are valuable to this hotel as they make guests feel welcome, they are friendly and will do what they can to make everyone feel welcome and valued. The evening staff were not at this Calibre when we had concerns, however the following couple nights we stayed there they were friendly.The breakfast is good, and some of the staff that work during the breakfast are happy, and strike up conversation, whereas others wear uninviting looks on their face.We took time on our first night to read the Google reviews on this hotel and they will offer the same generic response to reviews. Use caution if booking a room here - DO NOT BRING children, it is not an environment for them, although we got the better room in the end there were a lot of intoxicated guests, and loud guests throughout the night.

The staff in the Hotel are awesome, do their best to accommodate and the breakfast buffet is very good and plentiful (And free) The real issues with this hotel is that it is in transition and under construction while it is open.They’ve also cut a lot of corners in amenities.Our room heater did not work. That’s a problem and it wasn’t fixed. The in-room coffee maker is kind of ridiculous for the style of the hotel. The hotel Calendar had the wrong info on it. There’s no room service.It is obvious that the management is not supported by ownership and that the hotel has seen better days.Still, had we had not experienced the room issues, the hotel has some potential. The pool and the courtyard areas are great.Hope they get it together.

Stayed here with my wife a week in September 2019 and we loved it! We wouldnt hesitate to stay at The Hollywood Hotel again (and again). Highly recommended!The HotelNice and friendly staff, great breakfast, pub in the evenings, souvenir shop, pool area, big parking with automated gates. The area outside the hotel didnt feel like something we wanted to explore by foot so we used the car every day.The biggest downside is the very expensive parking fee of 30 USD. There are parkings on the streets outside so if youre ok with finding your own parking spot and walk to the hotel you got some big savings heading your way. There is an ATM at the hotel which charges 5 USD for withdrawal. Water automats on every floor.The RoomsGreat beds and good daily cleaning. We did not like the shared pathway outside our balcony door, although we rarely noticed anyone out there. Also the entry to the shower was way to small for big sized persons. Safe and fridge on the room.FoodThe breakfast is awesome! The omelette chef Hugo makes The Best omelettes Ive ever had, and the waffles with new flavor every day, were great. My wife choose the scrambled eggs which, of course, were great as well. We Love You Hugo

The garden was charming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only thing that might have been better would have been an area to sit and work on a laptop outside of the hotel rooms when the cafe was closed. Also the exercise room was quite small. Otherwise, really nice!

We had a great stay. Overall I would recommend, although our room on the ground floor was quite noisy. Great Bar, courtyard and pool area. Everything throughout the whole hotel was very clean, and we had a great shower. I think they are renovating, so when their restaurant is open for meals it will be a great addition. It was good to have a buffet breakfast included.

When we first got there the lady at the desk was rude so when we get there every thing was good then after about 4 hours I was sitting on the bed I seen spiders cob webs ants on the dresser my granddaughter got bit there was spiders in the corner one was crawling up the curtain we went to the report this to the front desk the guy says we r booked and the manager isnt here I no better someone has to be there Im from Vegas I no better so the other gentleman who checked us in he came out too help us we finally got a different room I would have to say I wasnt happy but they should checkl their rooms before your guest enter their rooms my daughter got bit also eighteen times by ants hope this doesnt happen again

I understand the during this hard times of pandemic less staff are working at this property, The Hotel cleaning sanitation procedures where guarantee for all bookings guests !!! Common areas at the pool was infected with mosquito’s Me & my guests got bit like 100 times, ice machines in all 3 floors where broken, two of the water bottles bending machine where broken too... Front desk staff aren’t friendly at all... not a good welcome at check in or Check out... there’s not a Hello,Good morning or Thanks to guests... I’m the one the say those words in 2 nights stay.

Good location and easy to find. Rooms are nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. If youre going to do some sightseeing its a very convenient location. The only downside is the cost of parking. If youre visiting on a weekend, street parking is free on Sunday.

It’s nice located place to stay, I spent 4 nights here, the building is nice old but well maintained and renewed, I like their historical and classical interior in the room. But u need to wait for the elevator to come for a longer time

Came in room when do not disturb sign posted. Hard beds, shower stall in poor shape and small. Staff trying to enter room & turned off air in room before we were due to check out. Not so great area. Would not stay here again. Common areas look better and are maintained better than bathrooms.

I spoke to both an employee and the manager who were both incredibly insensitive and condescending. When I asked to speak to someone else they flat out just said no! A better description would be tired.From the lamp that can only be turned on and off by screwing the bulb in or out, to the bathroom fan that makes a lot of noise, but doesnt actually turn, to rusty bathroom door hinges (the center one has no pin) and a toilet seat with a lot of texture; this place is tired. The room has no dresser for longer stays, nor a desk for the business traveller. The room in which I stayed is large, but has a very imposing concrete pillar right in the middle of it. The doorless closet is located in a nook created by yet another pillar just past the bathroom door. The parking is great, they have Chromecast on the TV, internet is free, breakfast with omelette bar included.

Great location, clean and comfortable room and fantastic breakfast!! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The only downside was the bathroom. Perhaps it was clean - but the grout on the walls and floor looked very dirty. Also the toilet didnt work all that well and kept running most of the night. All the benefits though outweigh the negatives for sure. As mentioned by many other reviewers just be aware the pretty outside shots are in the back of the hotel by the parking lot. But given the area, the placement makes sense. I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel price was $166, but after taxes fees and parking it was nearly $300. The elevator doesnt work. The room is really wonderful. The sounds though really travel from outside into the room.Great shower and beds and sheets. Staff was very offputting and I felt berated as to why each of the people in my party were there. Thus is the only hotel who asked for the state id of each person. I showed my military id and was told they wanted my personal state id instead. Parking is very expensive $27 per night but very secure.

This is a top notch hotel.. pool, spa gym, great location. Very safe area. The decor is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, comfortable beds with heavenly pillows..The staff are amazing, very friendly and made my stay wonderful. Shops 2 minute walk, Yogurtland, Chinese food, Pharmacy etc. I used Uber to get to the Big Bus on Hollywood Blvd.. I really enjoyed my stay at Hollywood Hotel.

Great location!Comfortable, clean and big bedroom. Amazing breakfast! and great staff, especially Nicole, she was one of the kindest person we came across during our trip. Kind and helpful, she made our stay ever better.

The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Don’t come here if you actually want a place to sleep well. The walls are so thin you can hear people talking in a regular voice volume. On the first floor where I stayed, you can hear everything from the lobby and the courtyard. There was always someone doing something. I kept waking up at night and I am not such a light sleeper. Plus they charge you extra each night for parking which is not disclosed during the reservation but instead let you know when you check in. It definitely doesn’t have a welcoming feel either. I would never recommend this place. Nope not again.

Really loved the time we spent there. Great location, great breakfast, great staff and very spacious and quiet. I strongly recommend.

Avoid it,The first time when we arrived at the hotel, my wife asked for water they told us it is $2 per bottle.we requested only two, they refuse to return the other bottles. the man called himself a night manager was so rude to us and unprofessional. we felt unsafe living there.NOT really a free breakfast, the reason I said that because the man who works on breakfast will refuse to give you what you want.The only good thing about this hotel was the people who work in the room service are so polite and kind.

Location is perfect for surrounding activities and venues. Very clean and secure. Reasonably priced and Breakfast included!

This place if frankly a D-U-M-P. Their website and photos are a definite bait and switch. Everything online shows lovely renovated rooms yet my room was absolutely awful. The ceiling directly above my head in bed was VERY cracked and crumbling down paint. The bathroom wallpaper was probably from 1975 and it was discolored and peeling at all corners. The AC registered was hanging loose and filthy. I found multiple sugar ants crawling throughout the room. The furniture was mismatched and in poor condition. I will absolutely never stay here again. As a single female business travel who also happens to be pregnant, I find these conditions deplorable and unacceptable. If I wasnt so exhausted when I checked in I would have demanded a refund and found other accommodations. Instead I crashed and slept on top of my bedding. I took lots of anti bed bug precautions such as not letting my suitcase or clothing touch any bedding or drapery as the conditions gave me zero confidence that this place isnt crawling with them.

Affordable nice little place .

Actually is a good place to stay, you have a pool, includes breakfast and sauna, but it doesnt include parking, so think twice about it, because youll have to pay almost 30 bucks if you want to park your car.Otherwise the rooms are big, everything is clean the give you coffee and tea. The lobby is beautiful tho.

Dont waste your time and money!

If I could give this hotel no stars I would. I had spent the night visiting a friend. Everything was fine until I left. I was too busy on the phone talking to my fiance to pay attention to the route in which my friends went so I went out the wrong way. Walking to the end of the parking lot I realized I couldnt exit that way so upon walking back to where I came I was met by a short Latino racist man who kept telling me I had to go. I kept telling him Im trying to find the exit Howe er he kept shouting at me that I needed to go. He kept harassing me as if I was loitering when all I was trying to leave. He said some things under his breath in which are too hurtful to repeat but he spoke to me as if I was a dirty subhuman. I didnt even get the chance to enjoy the stay with my friend because the experience was so traumatizing.

Dirty and ants crawling everywhere! Have written the hotel several times with no response.Update: 4/9 - 18So I can see that Hollywood Hotel is acknowledging the issue here on Google, but they have not responded to my e-mails. I have been waiting for 3 weeks and have asked them several times why they havent responded. I guess its more important to keep up an social media front rather than keeping customer happy.This Hotel is not worth the time or your money - and would not be recommended.

Maritza is the lovely woman responsible for the amazing housekeeping w the special touch of love when she did up our room as made it so cozy when she put my sons stuffed animals on the beds it was better tha. Being home!Hugo is the most amazing chef and so lovely downstairs in the complimentary breakfast. I only wish that they had completed construction so that we could do lunches and dinners with him next time I can’t wait to see what he does with a lunch and dinner menu

The rooms aren’t great... the counter had a chunk broken off, the grout was black, and the wall was peeling. The balcony is dirty and peeling and has no furniture. Breakfast is good but doesn’t change over the course of the week. The gym is well equipped compared to most hotels. In regards to staff, Pil was pleasant and helpful, whereas Bryan and Gisel were rather rude and not understanding. Housekeeping staff only speaks Spanish and don’t do a good job - soap was replaced once over the course of the week, toilet paper ran out and wasn’t restocked, shampoo wasn’t provided 2/7 days. Overall would not come back to this hotel, definitely not a “4 star luxury hotel” as advertised.

This hotel charges $27/day to park your car in the lot but they dont disclose the fee when you make your reservation. They spring the fee on you when you get to the front desk.

Im very glad that your service is nice. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Breakfasts are delicious and every one can eat whatever they want. Rooms have AC.

I would give a 4.5. Front desk staff was awesome. Beatrix was very cool. Bed was soft and comfortable. Good location.

I only stayed one night between flights but found my stay to be most comfortable. The staff was inviting, the interiors were clean and felt up to date, and the rooms were well appointed, with adequate soaps, towels, a fridge (empty) and a microwave on every floor.I would happily stay here again.

Even though the ad was misleading, it was pleasant. We liked the patio and the breakfast (although when we got to the hotel early and decided to go have breakfast while waiting for our room to be ready, we asked the lady at the front desk where we could go for breakfast and she didn’t tell us about the free breakfast offered. The photo posted of the grand entrance and fancy car was actually the back entrance... the front entrance was far less glamorous. Overall, we were pleased though with the hotel. The only real con was the location. The neighborhood was sketchy though and a good 15 minute Uber ride to Hollywood.

If you dont mind, can I have a recipe for an omelet for breakfast? It was so delicious, and I keep thinking about it.

TLDR: This place is disgusting! And the manager is condescending and rude. Do not stay here. I feel like Ive been scammed!For starters, the neighborhood is not nice. I heard 3 ambulances/fire trucks drive by in the first hour Id been here.The lady at the front desk was nice, but we were frustrated by fees that werent mentioned on their Trivago page. Additionally, they charge daily for parking. Their page says valet parking, but there is none. There is only self parking and they make you pay for it separately when you arrive at the hotel.If it costs, why werent we able to pay when we paid for the room? Also, I dont know how it is in Hollywood, but it seems absolutely ridiculous to charge for self parking. How else are they expecting people to get here? To fly with their wings, or teleport. Theyre trying really hard to squeeze every penny out of you.And thats just the beginning.Inside, at first the room looked okay. Nothing spectacular, smaller than it looked on the website, but thats often the case. Then, as we started to settle in, we began noticing that the room was actually filthy.There was scuff marks and a mysterious splatter of brown gunk on the walls. Under the beds and shelves were not swept and we found dust and trash behind the nightstands. Upon further examination, we noticed even more dust, feathers, and strands of hair on the floor. We found hair in the bathtub and all over the beds.When we called the front desk to complain about the state of the room, the manager came in with the maid and tried to blame the mess on us. The manager completely ignored what we said about the floor, tried to blame the hair on the bed on us for sitting on it, despite that we explained that it was neither the texture, length, or color to have been any of ours. And she picked the hair out of the tub with her hands.Meanwhile, the maid complained to her in Spanish saying that she cleaned the room already and outright refused to do it again. Seeing a couple of black girls in the room, she clearly assumed that none of us could understand her. Well, she was incorrect.They left after that and the manager returned a few minutes later with a lint roller and did a half assed job of getting the hair off the bed. Then she asked if we needed anything else in a patronizing tone and rudely left the room without even looking back at us.At this point, I was livid. Even the manager is treating us this way. We werent rude to them, the least they could have done was swept and changed the sheets. Now angered, I took my phone out and took an even closer look at the room. After a few minutes of looking, I came to the quick conclusion that this place is an utter and total dump.Theres literal holes in the walls, the windowsill is in an abysmal state, the baseboards look like they havent been cleaned since the hotel was built. The paint is chipping everywhere, and theres weird stains on the walls. I even found mould on the shower rod, and the showerhead is covered in calcium deposits. Even the nightstand drawers were full of dust, old hair, and a yellow towel that must have once been white.Im utterly offended that Im being forced to pay for this. Thank goodness I dont plan on spending much time in this room during my vacation. It makes me so frustrated that I dont even want to talk about it anymore. Please, enjoy the plethora of pictures I took as evidence of my experience.EDIT: Looks like Google wont approve my photos. Its too bad, I had 37 pictures depicting how disgusting this room is, but now all you have to go on is my word. Trust me, it is BAD!
