Although it was late...it was an awesome spot to show off my new glasses from HAVEN under the moon and watch the light show at the fountains and have a light night picnic at downtown Long Beach so much fun!! Beautiful place! I went to see TomSegura here and I was really pleased with the venue. It was grand and comfortable. Bar line took a little while but I guess that’s expected for so many people.

Havent been to this venue in years and I must say, that I was very pleased. Parking was reasonably priced, the venue was easily accessible from the parking area, including elevators, escalators and stairs. The property was beautifully cared for and seating is comfortable with a good view from anywhere in the theater. Will definitely consider future events here.

We watched Ali Wong tonight and they used the Yondr bag. Nice idea. Checking in was fine because we arrived 1.5 hrs before that show start. Leaving was a bit chaotic and they did not allow guests to exit on the lobby front doors, which caused a huge bottleneck to the only exit path. Could have been more efficient...

Lots of legroom between rows! Getting out of the parking structure was awful. We didnt move for 20 minutes.

Great music and dancing venue. This is the home of the Long Beach Pops. Now when they play dancing music - swing, big band, salsa (we saw Pancho Sanchez here), there are dance floors on either side of the stage where you can dance to your hearts content. Lots of fun!

I had a good time and all the people that attended were respectful, polite, orderly, and not one person showed misconduct. People behaved like a highly educated person.People gave a lot of respect to Dr. Mayor Robert Garcia. Congratulations.

I love going to concerts here! Its not so big you have nose bleed seats. Its big but small at the same time. To me all seats are good seats.

Parking available downstairs I assume rates may vary but it was $15 for our event. Street parking wont be available nearby so youll have to use a paid lot. The Acoustics and sound on our concert were not very good. Not sure if it has to do with the theater or are particular concert. But the words were muffled in the balcony.

Its an amazing experience here, wonderful theater and top of that Badshah and Sunidhi concert made it more interesting. Nice ambience and space.

Went to go see Shreyal Ghoshal. Easy and cheap parking a few blocks away in the city lot. Great friendly staff. Good sound system and seating. I was in the top balcony and it wasnt too far away. Lots of space and chairs inside to socialize before a concert. Sure, everything inside is a little older, but it feels more comfortable and like a home. The stage is not dead center. It points slightly to the left side. There appears to be more seats on the right side, some of which will have partially blocked views. Btw, get the tix directly from the box office to save on all the excess fees. I paid only $3 more than the face value of the ticket at the box office.

Beautiful stage. we went there to see our daughters performance T The Nutcracker and really impressed. not only with show but also with beautiful theater. I think it enchants what is on the stage

I liked it. Bus depot was near by. Didnt have to drive or pay for parking. It was a nice venue.

Good and large theater for performances. There is no center aisle. You can only get to your seats by the ends. Can be very awkward to get to your center seats if you come late.

While the venue itself is great, their procedure for checking people in for a show with a no-phone policy was asinine. They locked up our phones and told us to get in line to get our tickets printed to go into the show. Allow us to check in with our mobile tickets FIRST and then lock up our phones!!! It wont delay the entire process and frustrate everyone before the show. This was beyond frustrating.

Easy to get to, parking across the street, security was well organized and didnt take much time. No line for the restrooms!!! SHAPIRO!!!!

If youve not been here before or are not familiar with the layout of this complex, be sure to arrive a bit early to give yourself time to locate the entrance to the Terrace Theater. The entrance is not at street level, and there are entrances to other venues in the same vicinity. Also, the box office is a separate small structure off to the right of the main entrance. A large parking structure on the premises provides ample parking within easy walking distance.Compared with some theaters, the interior seating provides a bit more space between the seat in front and the seat behind, which makes it easier to move to your seat without stepping on toes.For the performance I attended, they were strict about not letting people in after the show had started until there was an opportunity to enter without disrupting the performance.

Need to fix what ever is falling from the ceiling. Accustics need improvement. Nice potential. Come on LB make this better.

This is a nice place and may be good for some events however, the accoustics in this venue do not seem to work well with louder rock music, you can only enter rows from the end so people are constantly passing in front of you if you are near the end. But the seats were comfortable with plenty of leg room . Probably great for a play or softer music.

Attended Motown Night there. Clean venue. Public restrooms. Underground parking $15. Restaurants within walking distance.

Terrace theatre is a quality venue, serving Ling Beach and its visitors since the 80s. Many a play, and apoearance has graced this attraction. I remember seeing Little Orphan Annie here a long time ago.

There almost no disabled parking spaces. What few there are are a long way from the entrance. When you do find a parking space that is not a disabled space, its an extremely long walk to the elevators, which are not well designed. The auditorium itself is wonderful and the staff is good, but the parking nightmare is so extreme I had to remove 2 stars. Be sure to allow at least an hour before show time for arriving, trying to find a parking space, and walking to the entrance.

Forever Oldies concert was a sold out event. The KG Veterans band performed and backed The Masqueraders, Persuaders and The Originals!

Located in a beautiful spot in downtown long beach. Before arriving at the Terrace Theater you could find yourself exploring the scenery around the theater.

Saw Celtic Woman here last night. The venue is small, but it was a great show. They sing wonderful. I think its a great view no matter what seat you get. Definately going to see more shows here!!

This event is the best of the rest. I am going to say, Thank you Long Beach for realistically making our neighborhood a better place to live, educate, and grow up, and breathing the air without any smog.Maybe we should blow up, construct air ducts on the mountain so the smog can pass to the other side.Thnx,CTDPGrajeda, Herman

I have been there 3 times and it has great acoustics.

This is one of the primary venues to enjoy a concert or event, conversation, live theater. The sound in the room is outstanding and every seat is a good seat. The Terrace Theater is a beautiful venue. Parking is not free, theres handicapped parking and access. Many restaurants near by. Next door to the Long Beach Convention Center and the Arena, close to the Queen Mary.

Great place to see a show. Went to see Tom segura and was a good time. The only bad part is when people are getting up to use the restroom or whatever they have to walk through the whole row. So can get annoying at times having to constantly move you feet for people and miss part of the show. Seats were pretty comfortable and easy parking and easy to get to location.

I saw my friends graduation ceremony here and it was a beautiful ceremony.

Great venue, my first time here last night to see Jim Gaffigan. The location is easy to find. Parking was $15, and easy hop skip and walk over to the theater. I notice plenty of drinks are served but if you dont drink bc youre the DD, then where is the coffee shop? no hot coffee was to be found at the venue.

Attended a business conference here. Plenty of room, clean, and met our needs nicely! Friendly and helpful staff.

I went to the Keyshia Cole concert for my birthday had a good time.. although she only performed about 45 min. Spent most of my time waiting in the line for drinks. They only had one server.. The concert started at 7 30 pm and they closed the bar at 9pm.

Beautiful, clean venue. Staff at security and throughout the event were friendly and hospitable. However, at concessions they seemed a little agitated. I saw one berate her coworker for no apparent reason and almost threw my order at me. Nevertheless, I am giving it five stars as my overall experience at the venue was a pleasant one.

The parking structure was located pretty close to the terrace theater. The parking structure elevator only took us to the floor below the entrance of the terrace. You walk across the bridge and in looking for an elevator we were rudely questioned with where ya think you going I told them I was going to the terrace theater to see a presentation by Neil deGrasse Tyson and I wanted to use the elevator. I was told to to take stairs up to the front. I told her that I needed to use an elevator. She scanned me up and down and ask why I cant use the stairs. I told her I cant use stairs. She then pointed to the elevator a little bit beyond the point where she stopped us. There was nothing in the terms and conditions of the ticket that said I had to inform someone of my disability which I like to keep private. The rude Inquisition by minimum wage ghetto Hustler with an attitude is unnecessary and violates title 7 requirements. Im sure if I told her it was none of her business she would have sent me back to the parking garage.

Excellent than you. I really like this place. Theres really not a bad seat in the place. Really comfortable, plenty of restrooms. And they serve snacks during intermission.

1) Parking structure needs help; understandably why construction is going on.2) Theatre walkways, it’s stairs, (escalator not working) unfriendly to handicap clients.3) Women’s toilet seats broken & loose.4) Elevator #11 broken. Called 911 for assistance as we continued to ring the bell and tried vehemently to use the elevator phone, nothing worked. There was 9 of us stuck in the elevator with handicap on a cane & another on a walker. We had no other choice but to call 911. I’m sure that was very embarrassing for terrace theatre staff as when the fire department arrived, terrace theatre staff finally opened the doors of the elevator.This all happened today at the 2pm 3/23/2019 Shen Yun performance.Management should re-educate their staff and/or educate the staff in cases of emergency. This gave all 9 of us an experience that we’ll never forget and hopefully a lesson for terrace theatre in a case of life or death in a catastrophic situation they could be pro-active in a more timely manner.

Saw Louis CK perform here. The theater was beautiful in the inside. They also have plenty of bar service all over the main floor. Nice and clean bathrooms. The A/C was consistent. The sound system was on point. The seats were average in comfort and the elbow room was lacking, however the leg/knee room was spacious even for a tall person. Overall, I would come here again for future events.

How did I not know this place existed? Absolutely gorgeous. The concert I attended, we sat in the front row and it was very chilly. Bring a sweater to this venue. Nice clean restrooms with an attendant.

A professional, first class multi-purpose Event Center. I bit of a walk for parking in the detached structure, otherwise top-notch performances in a variety of production styles.

The venue is nice, the artists were great and the drinks were off the chain. Ill be back.

The stage mikes were not working, and every artists performance was not good at all. (They could not hear themselves on stage) Al B Sure ended up doing most of his act in the audience so he could hear himself sing. We couldnt see him because we were towards the back. It was so late with all of the technical difficulties, by the time Bobby Brown came out to perform, he was physically tired and only performed a few songs sitting on a stool. The mikes kept squealing throughout everyones act because they were trying to fix the problem during the performances. They need to make this right by offering a free do over show or a refund. Again, this was not the performers fault. It was the producers! That is why you do a sound check before the show!

3/23/19 At Shen Yun : The theater itself is fine, acoustics seem good.1) The theaters policy of letting late comers to the show come in is not . I have never been to a arts performance so frequently interrupted at length, by latecomers, anywhere else . I am talking 15, 30 and 45 min late . Many many people came late to then go through 30 seats or more to their seat in mid performance. This open door policy needs to change. As annoying as it was for me, I am sure it was for the performers. 2) structure parking stairs have trash and water on them . A safety issue in that parking structure elevators are small and slow.3) Ladies room : many stalls- great. No way to tell if they are vacant or not on door, so have to look underneath. An attendant to point you to empty stalls or vacant / locked signs on door would be vastly helpful to expedite the extremely long line of patient polite women waiting for someone to come out of a stall rather than knowing to look underneath. Cheap fix and would help people come back on time for 15 min intermission.

5he area and the theater was nice but I am super disappointed that they didnt have a changing table in the bathrooms (mens or womens). Parking was a no go.
