There are many reasons that I love going to the Beverly ONeill Theater in Long Beach. Their Productions by the ICT are always first-rate. Its a small theater so you dont have the huge crowds to deal with, and I dont have to drive miles to see a wonderful play. There also is ample parking available.
Outstanding acoustics! Great seats! Came here for LB Opera King Arthur, always a fresh production.
Saw a really good play called life could be a dream it was very entertaining lots of great music and they all did a great job inside the Beverly ONeill theater is gorgeous but they could update the inside of the theater itself the seats seemed kind of old and there wasnt a lot of space for people walking in front of you to get to their seat but all in all it was a great experience and the outside area of the Performing Arts and the convention center was all lit up and it was just beautiful out there. Also the people that work there were very gracious and very nice.
International City Theatre is consistently enjoyable and professional theatre. I would highly recommend it. The theatre itself is comfortable with easy nearby parking ( although the rates have increased a lot recently). There is a handy elevator and handicap access/seating.
Amazing musical play of Billie Holiday; Lady Day. This play was really wonderful, funny, entertaining and very informative regarding the life of Billie Holiday.
Ould highly recommend it. The theatre itself is comfortable with easy nearby parking ( although the rates have increased a lot recently).
Wonderfull small theater to see plays and intimate concerts
Amazing and intimate setting for great plays, concerts and gatherings! Highly recommend!!!
Lady Day was excellent. Very well done
Review: Lady Day at Emersons Bar & Grill, at the International City Theatre, through November 3rd.Billie Holiday is born again through Karole Foremans brutally honest performance, which is impeccably acted and sung. It recreates one of the jazz legends last concerts. Supporting Foremans performance is Musical Director Stephan Terry as piano man, lover, caretaker, confidante Jimmy Powers. With deep humanity, Lady Day sings the unvarnished truth about her struggles with racism and addiction. Wren T. Brown masterly directs this unspairing tour de force Lady Day at Emersons Bar & Grill. This unbroken 90 minute play is not to be missed!
Comfortable seating with a good view of the stage, but it wasnt very ventilated.
Everything about this theatre is exceptional! Intimate seating, friendly staff and volunteers, close parking garage, just beautiful!
My husband and I bought tickets to see the Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra for this venue and I have to say that it was amazing! No matter where you sit you are enveloped by the performance, the musicians and their instruments are visible, clarity is wonderful and the acoustics are excellent. Parking is clearly marked but get there a bit early so that you can enjoy the surroundings. If you get a chance see something, anything at this theater, you wont be disappointed.
Lovely accessable theater on the grounds of the LB Convention Center. Perfect size for an intimate theater experience.

Its a beautiful theatre, stylish furniture, chandilers, huge mirrors, eye popping posters, and intimate theatre seating.
Such a lovely lobby; many nooks, nice artwork, seating arrangements and a bar, plus water with fresh fruit!(A goodly number for the ladies and space for passing!)
