Another wonderful walk in a new park with Snickers and Newton. I have driven past the area where this park is located numerous times and never knew it was here. Not a sports park, but plenty of playground equipment, nice walking paths, a hill for sledding (if there is snow), a pond and a picnic area.

Such a quaint hidden gem!! This park has a playground, a sand volleyball court, a small fishing pond (you need a permit to fish) and a great walking path that includes exercise equipment along the path.

Perfect place for families with playground, lake view, fishing, BBQ, etc.

This is a great fishing pond!! Note that you need a special York Center fishing license in addition to an Illinois state license WITH the inland trout stamp. We didnt see any trout, but there are MANY small bluegills, large mouth bass, and catfish. The lake has a 1/3 mile trail around it, a large pavilion, a large park, and lots of wide open land, perfect for running around, flying kites, etc.

Very pretty park to walk around, picnic tables are close to the pond, which is nice. Lots of calisthenics equipment alone the trail!!!

Such a beautiful little park with plenty of wildlife to observe. Playground is nice and clean. Kiosk is large and accommodating for family picnics. There is a BBQ pit area and seating. Great little park.

I love the lay out and space & the garden & the walk path and the exercise equipment & the Pavilion was just right for our FAMILY REUNION PICNIC & VERY CLEAN!

York Center Park Districts family fun fest is great every year!

Great clean park for exercise, picnics, romance, parties, reunions, snow sledding and I run my rc boats in the big lake/pond.

This place is wonderful for novice fishermen as its small enough area & pond to not get overwhelmed. The fish bite pretty quickly. The gazebo is so relaxing to hang out in and offers protection from the rain or burning sun. Theres a small park for younger children close by.My main dislike is the way visitors dispose of their fishing line & hooks. If you have pets, dont bring them at all. One of my shih tzus got tangled in fishing line & hooked by a 3 prong hook in her lip! Trying to get it off, I ended up hooking my finger so we were both hooked and whomever moved first would end up pulling the other along. It was a nightmare situation. I ended up biting my teeth and just ripping the hook from my finger so that it came off & save my poor dog the pain of being accidentally tugged. Rushed her to vet to get the hook out of her mouth. It was a horrifying experience. Keep pets away from here 100% & you should be able to enjoy it. If you see any fishing line, please dispose regardless if it isnt yours, it will save another animals life.

Not crowded especially when its cold outside. And to the West of the parking lot theres a stone circle with gravel in it I thought it was an unused fire pit but if you stand in the middle and face the stones it is an echo chamber and it is amazing it sounds like you have headphones on.

Beautiful place and really biggggg enough to fly my racing drones. And to do whatever good times there, walk dogs, B.B.Q. sports, etc.... have parking lot, and for H.C. parks too. Very niceee beautiful place, go check it out! Im giving it 2 thumbs up.
