Good place for family picnics and playing in the water. Small water craft (paddle boards, canoes, etc.) are great here. Fishing and great hiking trails go in all directions from here.

The park was pretty clean (and people were there working at the time too), and only one other family there when we went (aprox. 1-230pm on Friday). Play equipment was, of course, nowhere near shade and very hot. Bathrooms were good, with soap and running water, and plenty of space for a wheelchair/big stroller/wagon. Best part was actually at the back, over a bridge. Theres a section of the river that is beautiful, and feels like its in a canyon rather than in the city. You have to look through chain link (photo is with camera against fence), but its still awesome...and loud, from a waterfall!

From the reviews it seems like many people are confusing this park for the Canyon Entrance park (1rst dam). This park is nice for the large grass area and full grown trees. However the actual playground is very small and old. There are picnic tables under a pavilion but only one bench for families to sit near the playground. There is plenty of room to update this park and I wish they would. Enough families use this park to put in a playground for younger and older children to play.

Clean park, beautiful ducks and geese. People say the fishing is good. Be careful near the road for passing vehicles.

Great place to relax. Nice pavilion. Well maintained. 4 Stars because of all the inconsiderate people who are taking their dogs there and running then off leash. This is a no dog park. Dogs only on leash and only on sidewalk. While we were there we had 6 different people come and run dogs off leash. Most of them did not clean up after their dogs. One guy showed up with 5 dogs. All off leash. Really scared the kids. Needs better enforcement because there are too many abusers of the park.

Fun place to talk with other people if you are so inclined.they had ducks there youre not allowed to feed them but they sure come begging haha the pupper and I put our feet in the water for just a minute and then moved on. I would love to go back at a time when I could stay for a bit longer.

This is a great little park. Its not really for little kids. There isnt much play equipment. And you cant feed the ducks anymore. But it is great for a picnic or to paddle around the water. Not swimming water! To much poo. There is a little side trail that leads to a bench on the other side of the water. Is is a nice view. And a fun mini walk. Also it is so close to hikeing trails. So you can pack a lunch. Park. Go on a hike. Then have a picnic all in the same area. It is generally not very crowded and it is nice and clean.

This is the secret gem among Logan parks. You can see animals and check out the dam or wade into the shallows and catch a fish. Nice and quiet. Great starting point for a hike up the canyon. The path is paved and then decent gravel for several miles or you can walk comfortably over to first dam.

The park itself is beautiful, and many waterfowl spend time on the grass and reservoir. Id recommend coming here for picnics, photography, hiking, or even just enjoying the scenery. The one downside occurs when children are left unsupervised, and they chase after or feed the wildlife, disturbing the peace and causing problems for the animals involved. A few people also bring dogs with them, despite several signs stating that no dogs are allowed on the premises. Excepting the bad behavior of a few, this park is a lovely place to visit.
