Super delicious wines and the nicest people! I look forward to visiting as the tasting room has a fun and laid back ambiance - you can bring your dog, meet with friends and sit back and relax. The staff is so wonderful to talk to, very friendly! Great to be a member here as they have lots of events, and as I mentioned their wines are delicious. I haven’t tried one that I didn’t like! Lots of smooth and flavorful reds and a wonderful chard & rose. One of my favorites in Livermore!

Wood Family has amazing wine in a cozy setting. My favorite is their Chardonnay, Para Mas Amigas. They are a family run operation and make you feel like part of the family. You will often see the owner walking around the tasting room and saying hi to everyone. We go to the tasting room pretty often because it is very family friendly. I would highly recommend Wood Family Vineyards to everyone!

One of my absolute favorite wineries! Awesome wine (current favorite is El Loco Rojo), super friendly staff, and great environment. The tasting room is also very dog friendly! I’d highly recommend the delicious wines and visiting the Wood Family Vineyards tasting room (they often have live music and food trucks - extra bonus). You won’t be disappointed with this place.

I cant begin to describe how amazing Wood Family Vineyards is. The wine was amazing. The employees are beyond helpful, descriptive, and nice. We decided to come here by a search on Google and we will be lifelong customers now. I highly recommend giving Wood a chance, you wont be disappointed.

I first tasted Côte du Rhône style wine in France in the Rhône Valley when I was a student. When I moved to California I searched for that style of wine - I found it first in Salinas, CA at Marilyn Remark Winery. When that winery closed down and I moved to Livermore, I was of course searching for a similar style wine and couldnt find it anywhere except at WOOD Family Vineyards. Their wines are exceptional - they mellow with age or you can drink them right away - its your choice. They produce a great variety of reds and even one white - their wine makers are hard-working and skilled. The customer service you receive at WOOD Family sets the standards in wine tourism - the hospitality at WOOD cannot be replicated anywhere else. WOOD Family is an extremely popular winery and the service staff are still incredibly humble - its quite incredible. You wont believe it until you experience it yourself. Go visit WOOD Family Vineyards - you will not be disappointed!!

I’ve been to several wineries in Livermore and I’ve been impressed with all of them. Wood Family, however, has the best wine (taste) out of any of them. Wonderful service as well.

Used to love going to the Winery, now it is in a warehouse and feels more like a dive bar. Prices of wine are pretty high as well, used to be affordable and a nice experience going to Wood Family. Now it seems like a very expensive outing to a not so nice bar.

Fantastic wines and superb service. Especially enjoyed the Cabernet Franc. So much so that I bought 4 bottles. Will likely buy a case upon the next release.

Delicious wines, and very knowledgeable and friendly wine-pourer. They mostly have reds, but their one chardonnay is quite good as well. You do need a reservation, so make sure to call before visiting.
