Great staff

Incredible wine and a lovely setting. Service was excellent. The Sangiovese, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc are stand outs.

Wow! My wife and I dropped into this winery today with our kids. I was so nervous about having the kids along with us. The staff was amazing! They made me very relaxed with the kids running around and even aloud me to move things around to let the kids settle in. I am not a big wine drinker......but the 5 wines that I tasted was outstanding! Welcome to the Bay area.....to us.

Mitchell Katz makes great wine. We have been here several times and have always enjoyed the wine and very friendly staff. The venue is great with a nice seating area out front to enjoy the wine and weather. Many of the regulars that weve met here are also very friendly and great to chat with. Highly recommend that you stop by if youre in the area.

We had a wonderful experience tasting wine today at Mitchell Katz. The staff was very helpful describing the various wines we tasted. We really like MKs wines.

What a great experience! The service was fantastic! Although there are a variety of different flavors, if youre really into fruit-forward, smooth and a nice finish, I highly recommend Primitivo 2015 for $32, almost a little too sweet but very tasty, or Fourplay Zinfandel that was amazing, more balanced and not quite as sweet for around $25, great price point! Obviously Im a fruit forward kind of person.

Wine is not good at all. Place is very dusty, expecially when the wind picks up. Only positive is there is lots of parking. There is many other better places to have wine in Livermore. Last but not least the tasting is not even two sips worth but thats OK because the wine is not good.

No one makes a Sangiovese like Mitchel. Plus his Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with chicken. Great venue.

Mitchell Katz is the reason I love red wine! Sangiovese, Fat Boy, Petit Syrah... Whatever they do, however they do it, they get it right every time! I also love their Chardonnay and their Sparkling Wine! Thank you for sharing your love of wine with the rest of us!!!They also have the friendliest staff of any Ive met in other wineries. They are down to earth and genuinely love what theyre doing.
