We were surprised to find this so close to town! Although we were not able to explore some trails or the put-in because the trails are overgrown with weeds and thorn bushes. I dont believe there are any water fountains or restrooms. But its a nice place to just walk around and get outside!

The area was very open and relaxing. We, my son and I, had gone there to watch a colorful sunset because of the Saharan dust cloud. But it was a complete dud. Too much dust and too many clouds to let the sun through. There were people out walking dogs and just out walking, and a couple dragging kayaks to the parking lot. Everyone that passed us was friendly and spoke. Nice piece of nature right on the edge of the city.

What a great place to get out on some Black water! Park and the dock is a 100 yards from the parking lot! Great Little dock. Paddle out a little ways and you’re right in the middle of the little Maumelle river. Make a left and you can paddle down and see pinnacle mountain. What a breathtaking view! Bring a fishing pole and get ready to catch fish! I have taking my mountain bike here as well! Great Place to ride bikes! Great hiking trails and beautiful places to have a picnic!

Nice quiet place to start a canoe or kayak voyage in the Little Maumelle River. A low draft would be better if you want to float out to the main channel, otherwise it may be tough to get out there on the water. The docks are floating with quite a bit of movement, so watch the first step.

Beautiful nature preserve that is in a centrally located area. Very quiet, calm and the views are stunning. Would definitely recommend!

Fun place to take the kids with bikes. Open space to ride. We enjoyed the shaded forest trail during the summer heat. No bathroom so be prepared for that.

I expected this to be a tiny little area behind a neighborhood. But it is a lot larger than expected so I think I will come back out ready for a jog because it is a more flat area with nice scenery and a well kept path. While driving in it does look almost like you have to have special permission to come here but it doesnt seem that way after coming in. The entrance gate is just not very welcoming

A pretty place to check out. When I was there today, the Arkansas River had the place completely submerged. Record flooding going on.

While living in the ranch I love to take advantage of the hiking trail and the beautiful scenery . Peace if mind is wonderful

Beautiful place to walk with views of Pinnacle Mountain and the Little Maumelle River. Gravel road and mowed, mulched and natural surface trails for walking.

Short hike through the woods. Good low cut, light technical mountain bike trails through the fields. Secluded camp and sitting areas. Wildlife. Definitely worth supporting.
