Such a beautiful Governors Mansion!I visited the Arkansas Governors Mansion about four weeks ago but I didnt go inside (it was an outdoors event). So, I decided to post some pictures from the inside when I toured it last Christmas (Nov. 14. 2019). I .hope you enjoy them.
Since 1950, the Mansion has served as the primary residence for twelve of Arkansass 46 Governors along with their families and pets. The rooms and grounds hold memories rich in the history of Arkansas. Each heirloom, painting, and architectural feature adds a sentence to that story.
First off let me say that I rate ol ASA H a 5 out of 5 stars. I like him. He looks like Charles Montgomery Burns from the Simpsons tho. I dont hold him responsible tho. I hold his parents responsible! How dare they make him look that way! Im calling DHS !!! ELLO GOVNAU. By the way, I would whoop you in a guitar showdown. Ill add proof! Im TaryTurbo420
Interesting place in great neighborhood
My son was invited to the Governors mansion for Honors day. It was a beautiful day and we were allowed to wander around the grounds. The gardens are lovely and well kept. There is a lovely herb garden and some incredibly old trees. We were limited on where we could go on the inside, but the rooms we did see were very up scale, well kept and yet comfortable. The first lady was very kind and visited with us a bit. If you have the opportunity to take a tour, I recommend it.
Beautifully decorated home. Attended an open house around Christmas time in 2016 with my grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. Hutchison were extremely friendly when we met them. We had a wonderful time seeing all the different rooms in the house. The place was packed and everyone seemed to be having a great experience. The staff members were all very professional and the grounds were kept well. Overall it was an extremely rewarding experience and I hope they will hold another event like this again sometime soon.
People are dying to see it
The mansion is gorgeous and the First Lady was so gracious!
Wonderful Christmas decorations and a nice greeting by Governor and the first lady of Arkansas.
Very beautiful property
Zero stars if possible.
Incredible garden experiences here. Become a Master Gardener to enjoy this garden.
Very expensive home for a governor and not any tours available to the public. The Mansion is very big and very well covered by vegetation. It would be nice if they had a way to allow the public to get in and to park. Instead of shutting out the cut the public they should want to include the public. Cant wait to see if they do that.
Gov Hutchinson, first Lady Susan held the Dr.MLK Jr. Prayer Breakfast and annual event at the Mansion.
Great experience, beautiful mansionFood was outstanding
Beautifully decorated for the Christmas Holiday season
A beautiful home for our governor and first lady as well as, a beautiful place to visit. Enjoyed a delicious lunch today with a friend. So appreciative of Susan Hutchinson and Friends of the Governors Mansion for using every opportunity to renovate this beautiful home - your work is paying off.
I took a guided tour of the mansion last summer with a group of women. It has beautiful interiors with interesting stories of history behind them. The huge addition on the back (dining/event hall) is stunning with gorgeous custom-design chandeliers, and theres a big staircase with governors names stitched into front of each step. It was a very enjoyable visit!
This a beautiful Governors mansion and is home to a Governor that actually also lives there, unlike some states. We were with a group of Altrusa recognized students for having a 4.0 this year who were being honored with a luncheon in the mansions ballroom. Its a beautiful home and the ballroom is full of splendor. The 2 handmade chandeliers were over $150,000 a piece and include real Arkansas quarts and crystal. If you ever have an opportunity to go, take it!
Interesting place, historical building in historical neighborhood
Patty Schipp is great to work with.
Ive had a few events here and the staff is always above expectation. The food service is also as delicious as it looks.
My google maps directions took me to the back side of the governor’s mansion.
As a Arkansas governor a member of the Senate my stay at the Arkansas Governors Mansion was absolutely wonderful I look forward to returning there soon so that we may complete our wonderous entrance into this Next Century thank you General levester Brown
Mrs. Hutchinson and Miss Arkansas was kind and accommodating with our womens group.

Great visit today it was a privilege to meet the governor and the first lady.
Pretty cool place to visit.
Beautiful Christmas Decorations
A historic place.
Attended the first National Computer Science Summit for State Leaders. Arkansas leads they way and other states will follow with help from industry.
Everything you would expect to stumble upon and more. The gardens are grand and the architecture and stories behind the history are intriguing. The staff is very friendly and always kind. The teas are amazing to attend and Christmas is my favorite part of the year to attend.
The staff did an amazing job at The Exodus Project event. Beautiful!
Awesome time the event that was held there and the food was great. It is a very beautiful place to visit I enjoy the scenery there also.

Beautiful historical building, well landscaped with gardens on 8.5 acres. Very friendly staff and volinteers, its obvious they love this place and care for it. We were fortunate to receive a tour, they are not generally offered to the public.
