Nice shaded trails that were great for a casual stroll, even in heat in the upper 80s. Also enjoy coming in cooler weather as well, one of my favorite spots in Little Rock for a walk.

The park is very beautiful. Especially for special events like the Lanterns Festival. We went for the lanterns festival and got to enjoy food from seven different continents. They had food from Asia, Morocco and even Ireland. It was a beautiful night and the lanterns were well lit up and they had performers singing and even fire dancers. We really enjoyed ourselves and so did the kids. Im not sure how this park looks like or what attractions it has to offer when there are no special events because that was our first time there, but I can imagine that its a beautiful place to go for a walk during the day. The staff there for that event were very friendly and helpful and it seemed that wherever we went there was always somebody there to assist us in case we needed anything. Will most likely be back for other events and probably on a normal day just to go for a walk.

The luminaries for lighting the lantern festival were beautiful. The half hour show was well done. But it is mainly just pay 12 to get in, then pay a lot more for food. It does all go to a good cause.

We went for the lantern festival which was magical, had great food, fire dancers, mermaids, floating lotuses with candles, and more. The daffodils were blooming and the grounds are maintained well.If you go to the lantern festival here are a few tips:Buy your tickets in advance onlineExpect to enjoy the evening in lines to get food (not super speedy)If you do not have to bring a stroller, dont. Too many people to manuever well.Bring cashBring your walking shoes

I was in town visiting for the marathon and looked up what was going on. Thought the Lantern festival sounded neat. I think they had way more interest than they planned for as nearly everything was sold out about halfway into the event. Originally they stated they wouldnt refund money for the paper currency you needed to buy, but as everything was sold out, they changed that policy. They didnt give us any hassels over it and were apologetic even.Very fantastic and visually interesting festival. For sure something I would attend again if I were in the area! The park itself looked very beautifully maintained and we even saw a swan; fitting considering its called swan lake!

I enjoy this place. It is a minute from my house and has great trails to walk my dog d exercise. There is a gazebo that looks out in a lake which has geese/swans (called swan lake but wasnt able to get close enough at the birds to see if they are swans or geese). Anyway. Lovely place to go for quiet walks. They also have plays there which are nice. My mom and I went to a play there recently which was cute. I great place for the whole family.

I personally thought the lantern festival was misrepresented in the advertisements. I have no interest in walking around in the dark just to pay for over priced fair food after paying $12.00 a head to get in. Lining the sidewalks with lighted paper sacks does not constitute a lantern festival. No displays. Really? I will never go to any event at this park again.

Very nice place. The setting is very beautiful and scenic. My job has had our annual leadership conference there the last three years. It has been great and they are very accommodating. The only thing I would give a negative on is the restrooms. When it is a large group, there are not enough restrooms to go around.

It was lovely and had great paths to walk. The arboretum was informative and beautiful. Dont feed the swans at the pond! Parking is a bit of a problem and bathrooms were hard to find (some were locked). Google directions took me past the entrance. Other than that, this is a great place to visit.

One of my favorite places for a weekend walk in Little Rock. The small loop around the pond is great for people with limited mobility - and easy for kids and strollers. If you want a serene walk, take the outer trails through the woodland. Great displays of daffodils and azaleas. Oriented to spring flowering, but theres something of interest throughout the year. And...its free!

Its a beautiful setting, a nice place to get away from the hussle and bussle of the city. You can bring your dog, it has to stay on a leash, and u have to bring your own poo-poo bags bc they do not have them anywhere in the park. You are required to pick up after your pet!. Their are a few trails. Ive only done the loop around the large pond. Havent explored any nature trails.. Not a fan of ticks.. So, I probably wont explore the nature trails until the weather cools enough and their are no ticks! Lol..
