Nice park with grills and tables to sit and eat at. Had a bathroom there. Also had a pavilion to sit in. The pathway gave you a historical story to go with the area there. The grounds were well kept.

What a nice little park to visit. It has a nice trail with plaques giving the history of the park. We followed the trail through the park, cemetery of soldiers from the War of 1812, across the bridge, & to the monument. It was very well kept & interesting to learn about. Well be back if we get a chance so we can walk more of the trails. Would definitely recommend you visit if youve got a nice day with nothing to do.

Peaceful, out of the way park. It has shelters and places to BBQ. It also offers a glimpse of Ohio history during the early 1800s.

This is a cute little park. We had an enjoyable walk from the park (that has a covered eating area and picnic tables and benches in a shaded area with tree cover) past the cemetery, across a bridge and over to the monument. There are signs along the way to explain the importance of the area and where the fort used to be there.I dont known if theyre open yet or not, but there were restrooms by the parking lot.

This is one of the smaller metroparks. There is a walkway to the memorial which is very nice and goes through the cemetery of the soldiers from the war of 1812.there are also trails that go down to the river on the opposite end of the picnic area. Many people miss these

Great place to sit in your car in the shade and relax or get out and walk the paths. Monument is a little walk but well worth it

Park with some trails. One trail is paved path to the site of the original fort. Another guess through the woods. Neither trail is too challenging or long.

A great place for a rest stop on a bicycle ride.

Met two others for a bicycle ride, finished at dusk. Park ranger took our picture, very nice and accommodating. Great Park to meet for a picnic, walk, or ride.

Local historical site used during the War of 1812. Quiet & reflective. Furnished with small pavillion, BBQ stations and primitive restrooms.

Beautiful little park honoring those who fought in the War of 1812. So interesting to see the gravestones of soldiers from way back then. Very neat bridge and stairs over a ravine on the nicely paved path to the memorial. The only part that truly wasnt kept up was a fenced area on the other side of the bridge containing two graves that were very interesting, but the fenced in area was totally overgrown. The rest of the park was very well-maintained, so it was odd. The picnic area was nice, a job completed in the mid-1930s to help put people back to work during the Depression. We enjoyed the nice walk and a picnic lunch!

Great historical graveyard nice sheltersSooooo glad they saved the rivers edge walkways!!!! Can see Eagles sometimes and gotta see the towering monument for our Brave Soldiers!

Shady spot with strong historical background. I loved the mature trees set against the deep moraine by the Auglaise River.

Nice park alot of history dating back to revolutionary war.they have a monument for the soldiers that died there in that area.

You can hike and there is stairs that take you to the river where you could fish. I really enjoyed it and thought it was cool.

I was there for a family funeral. I really didnt go for the park.
