This is an incredibly beautiful place for any kind of outdoor activities such as (any) sports, boating, fishing, nature viewing and BBQ/picnics. Located on/near Lake Harris. I admire the aquatic plant life and the various animal species found in and outside the water. A great sight to see is Floridas official state reptile the American Alligator. They are often seen throughout Lake Harris/Ski Beach area. They certainly would fascinate any visitors who get to see this beautiful ancient reptile either swimming or sunbathing. I recommend visiting Ski Beach and encourage anyone who wants a place to relax, and enjoy being near the lake.

Not a good place for swimming...gators. A great place to take a break, enjoy the lake view, launch your boat, walk the trail, do a little fishing, covered picnic tables, and (my favorite) swings. One of my favorite places.

The city of Leesburg did a good job of renovating this area. Newly paved roads, great boat ramp wide enough for 2 boats simultaneously, pavilions with picnic tables and a wide exercise path/trail

A beautiful spot to relax, walk and decompress. Had lunch here with my family looking over the water. Absolutely gorgeous!

I grew up skiing on this lake.We were members of the boating club and had family and friends down at ski beach several times a week.Even though my skiing days are well in my past, I still visit ski beach when I am in town. I love the park, and like walking over the wooden bridges. I enjoy all the birds and fresh air.

We love going for walks here and taking the dogs thru Venetian Gardens. Weve seen so many different types of birds including Blue Heron and Reticulated Woodpeckers. The point on Ski Beach is reminiscent of an island. Just love it here

Nice park, lots of people fishing from docks & waters edge, nice place to hold a benefit fishing tournament as why We was there today!

Its a very nice and new place to go alone or with your other half or with just friends to hang around... Come to Leesburg..

We were attending the Balloon Festival. Unfortunately the wind was too strong and gusty for flights. Great food and music. Sceanery was great. Partial full moon. Enjoyable evening

Really good place, with group can play volleyball, and do fishing also..PUBLIC FISHING its connected to Lake Harris and have boat ramp, walking trails, friendly wild life. They have Bar on other side too. Fully worthy to spend time with nature. Please Keep Clean.

The new ramp at Ski Beach is great, but there can be a lot of traffic between all the ramps in the area. Be careful.

Balloon fest was awesome

Went there for a lunch date with the hubby and hasnt been there for a while. And I was totally amazed at the transformation that the city of Leesburg has made to this area. It is a beautiful sight with picnic tables boat docks bathrooms and a volleyball court it even has swings on the side of the lake where you can sit and relax and watch the boats go by. Looking forward to the restaurant being built and finished. Very proud of Leesburg right now!

We came to see if we coukd see what the locals called Monkey Island. The park was beautiful, it had a small beach but I dont know if people really swim there considering a nearby sign reading dont feed the Alligators. My husband and I decided that since we live on a canal next time we will boat to the little Island.
