I love the land around in a very close to natural state.

We love using the rec center at Royal Highlands when were visiting my in-laws. 2 great pools, indoor and outdoor. You must be a resident or guest of resident to use the amenities, however so it stays pretty quiet.

The Rec center is only for residents in the 55 plus community. Many different activities and functions held there. Could use some updating, but gets the job done and keeps HOA fees down.

Naturally warm outdoor pool. Nice.

The Royal Highlands Rec center is a great asset to this gated community. The meeting and crafts room combine with community offices, billiards room, library, exercise room, showers, and changing rooms for the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Bulletin boards for many of the community clubs and organizations line the walls providing pictures, announcements, and contact information. The foyer contains comfortable seating and becomes a good place to greet and meet people entering the center.

The golf course is a treat to play. The greens were recently punched which is why the rating is 4 stars.
