This place is awesome! I took a date here today and we had an amazing time. Captain Jack “Sparrow” Kept things fun and lively on the boat ride to and from the island. He asked each of us what are favorite part of the day was and seemed to genuinely care about our answers. We appreciated his upbeat attitude and professional, yet funny mannerism. We will definitely return, and plan to try out the zip lines one day too. They looked like a lot of fun!
OMG JAKE WAS AMAZING!!!! My friend and I came out from Dallas and were so excited to come to Waterloo. Only problem was my friend is terrified of the water! Well, Jake swooped in and not only motivated her, but he gave her the confidence to stay in the water, and literally taught her the basics of swimming! She was in the water the rest of the time by herself without being scared! Such great customer service from all of the staff but Jake absolutely made our day! Kudos Jake and kudos Waterloo!!
Impressive in every way. Starting with the staff when we booked on phone, then at check in, the boat operator and staff on water and at concessions. They really helped make a great experience. Really fun water activities. Glad we brought water shoes. Highly recommend this place. Clean and great value for what you get. Good food too and plenty of space to chill between activities. Will return for zip line for sure.
Jenna and Austin ensured that we had the best experience! They were engaging and upbeat the entire time. They made sure to securely fasten us to the zipline and gave us pointers for various positions to improve our adventure (for those who were brave enough to try different positions down the zipline). An adequate amount of water was also provided throughout the hike. Thank you!!
We had an amazing day at Waterloo Adventures- it was so much more than I expected! The kids were exhausted after spending the afternoon there. It was clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful - particularly Captain Jack and Brandon! We cant wait to go back!
Very organized. The whole property was very clean and nice. The staff made rounds to take trash out frequently and made sure property was tidy. The food was simple and good. Can get pricey but we had 7 people. The 45 min for obstacle course is plenty of time and you get the rest of the day to play on the other areas. Beware its hard for those not in shape!! A lot of upper body....My husband lost his Gopro in the water and they have a diver that will hopefully retrieve it soon. Fingers crossed!! Overall a great experience and Id recommend.
Really neat spot! The obstacles are enormous and fun for all ages. Its also a beautiful setting to sit under the trees or swing in the hammock. Id recommend water shoes.
Had some belongings stolen from us while there and staff was quick to radio each other and to make sure no one left until we retrieved our belongings (which we found eventually). Staff stayed with us and provided us with on the house food and drinks!Overall the water park was very fun! A great place for kids and adults to experience the inflatable obstacles and to jump off the huge, inflated mountain!
So much fun. Very clean, good food from trailer. It was better than I expected. Do wear water shoes with good grip on bottom
Our family did this last summer and had such a great time that we wanted to do it again this summer! I highly advise wearing water socks to help with the course. Last year we didnt have them and spent most of our time slipping off. This year we had them and were able to conquer the course!
This place was super fun! 2 adults and 2 kids (9&15) went and we all had just as much fun as the other. They sprayed down the course once an hour, food and drinks are reasonably priced, free lockers, and all of the staff was great. The boat ride is short and we never had to wait. We will definitely be going back!
We had a blast here with our 12 and 8 year old girls!! . Very family friendly and a great workout! They were great following COVID safety measures! The food and drinks were not over priced at all! Shout out to captain Mike, he was great!
The price was a little steep at $135, but I had a great time. The guides, Joseph and Madi, were terrific and added to the fun. I probably shouldnt say this, but Madi is very pretty and I was crushing over her hard.
Amazing day at the lake, husband and I took our kids and had the best Sunday Funday anyone could ask for!!! All the staff were top notch, facility and boat ride to the course were amazing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great lake day!!!
Amazing experience! We went on a weekday and it was not crowded at all, but the boat driver advised us that it does get pretty crowded on the weekends. My son wants to come here every time we are in Texas he liked it so much!
Clean, friendly, decent food prices. The water features are a blast! My 20-something kids loved it.
Kids had a great time!! Great set up! The only reason I gave 4 stars was that all the employees on land were on their phones the majority of the time! Pretty disturbing- not very attentive to customers
Extremely unsafe in COVID times - no social distancing, no masks by staff except bartenders (who wore below their nose) and a lame attempt at cleaning (two sprays on shared life jackets). Also - no free water. You’re not allowed to bring your own drinks and then they gouge you...for water. Totally not worth the price or hassle.Upon reviewing the reply by the management, I’m updating my post. The staff didn’t wear masks (the individuals giving the safety protocols and washing life jackets) while the staff who wore masks (bartenders) wore them only to cover their mouths - noses exposed while pouring a serving. The safety lesson taught before going to the water consisted of gathering all participants in a small area (no masks, impossible to distance) before realeasing the group to the obstacle course...shoulder to shoulder. The safety speech mentioned nothing about distancing or protocol. I believe it’s not only safe but appropriate to offer free water at a sports/physical establishment or allow water to be brought in.
It was so great to let our teenagers take advantage of the obstacle course while we kicked back on the beach! We enjoyed the water for a while, too...and got lunch and drinks for reasonable prices. Fun day!!!
So much fun and definitely worth the money. Captain Jack was friendly and funny. Will be back.
This place was perfect for our sons 10th birthday or for adults to just have fun!! All the pictures are true! It was nicely kept and they sanitized the course between each session. We can’t wait to go back
This place is so fun! It will be difficult for you if you’re out of shape, though! Upper body strength is a must! I was very sore the next day. Lol. You only get 45 minutes on the obstacle course but you can pay an additional ten for another round as many times as you want which is not bad. Plus they have other water sports and games available for unlimited use. The food is typical concession stand food like hot dogs and frito pies. I wasn’t too fond of the food or the frozen alcoholic beverages, will probably just stick to beer next time. They’ve got your white claws! This is definitely a place to let your inner child come out.
Madi and Joseph were awesome guides! Had a super fun group and an even better time even if it was incredibly hot
Well it was adventure for us I was told it was deep but we decide to take my 9 yrs old and 16 yrs old. My kids don’t know how to swim not a safe place for my kids to deep they panic . I seen people were enjoying but not for us wont return ..
Omgggggg!!!! This is a place everyone must take they family for a little get away. Everyone was so friendly from the time we arrive at the gate til the time it was time to go. Food was very good. I would recommend. I call it a lil Island!!!!
You have to come here!! Great 4 to 5 hours!!! Captain Jack is great too!!!
My husband and I took a weekend trip to Lake Travis this past weekend and had a reservation for Waterloo on the Saturday. The online reservation process was quick and easy and we were able to pay as well as file a waiver. We followed all instructions provided and parking, check-in was a breeze. We got there an hour early, as requested and a shuttle van took us from the parking area to the check-in location for our wristbands. From there, you go to the dock and wait for a boat to take you to the grounds. They have lockers available for free as well as life jackets and concessions to buy drinks/food. They have plenty of chairs/umbrellas so you can chill out when youre not on the obstacle course. Youre only allotted 45 min on the right side of the course which was plenty of time because by the time the 45 min was up, you were ready for a break. We initially thought the $54 fee was a bit much but it was honestly worth the price. Not only can you stay to the left side of the course for the whole day, you can add on an obstacle course session for $10 as well as chill out under the umbrellas or hammocks until closing. Most people were barefoot and were slipping a lot. We ordered water socks off Amazon and we are SO glad because they were much needed so keep in mind. Highly recommend and we cant wait to go back.
It was my first time there . Sorta late review but, I went about 2 weeks ago and it was fun . The bathrooms were a tad tight and small but it was air conditioned. I also wish the prices for food & alcohol would be cheaper
We went as a group of friends in their 30s and had an awesome time. They do a great job of catering to both adults and kids, so I was really impressed. Families mixed with older groups of friends and everyone was respectful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The course is excellent fun, the floating tables are a great touch, and you can chill and climb on the left part of the course and much as you like. We were there on their busiest day ever - Id like to point out Im not a lover of crowds but this never felt overwhelming.Booze is priced just fine considering its a captive audience. Only feedback I would provide is a few more food options on the menu would be awesome. Overall well worth the money - the little touches go a long way
So much fun, entertaining and a great work out
This was amazing spent 5 hours there today with my kids. It is a family environment the staff are amazing very friendly. Tons of shade tons of lifeguards. The drinks are amazing they give you a little cooler to put your drinks in while your there. The grounds are very clean. Definitely worth trying out!!!
This is the place to be in the summertime! With lots of accommodations for parents and kids Waterloo Adventures is easily the best entertainment in Austin. Their are lots of fun obstacles on the lake including slides, a race course, and simulated cliff diving and climbing. So stop by for a workout and a fun day with the kids at this one of a kind Adventure park!
Took our kids for a birthday party with friends and had a blast. We purchased additional obstacle courses and played pretty much the whole day. The food was not terribly expensive. They have personal pizzas and sandwiches. Sodas, water, beer and wine are available. The park has good lounge chairs. The staff was attentive and friendly.
Amazing day at the lake for kids and adults! Staff and amenities are amazing! Water bottle fill station would be a bonus. I don’t mind having to pay for water but don’t enjoy all the plastic bottles. Bringing a gallon jug next time.
What a fun weekend! We stayed in the cabin they have at the main property. It is small but it was so much fun! We had run of the entire place in the evening! We grilled and had a fire down by the water and the kids got to swim off the old dock. What a great place to spend the weekend!
My family took a trip to Waterloo Adventures and loved it! Our 15 and 12 year olds enjoyed the course and because it was a slower day we were able to use the obstacle course all day. The parents had a good time too and enjoyed being on the water on a sunny summer Texas day!We got there around noon and it took 20-30 minutes to take the shuttle to the loge, get signed in, and over to the play area by boat. If you get there early, you can play in the water until your time comes up on the obstacle course. While we were there, my wife lost a necklace. They were very helpful and let us go back the next day to search for it. We were fortunate to have found it and appreciated their helpfulness. The staff was great and would go back again if in the area!
Great family environment. Staff is GREAT from check-in, boat ride, van services, concessions, lifeguards everyone had a great attitude and they all seem to enjoy their work. We took our 11-year-old and 5 friends to celebrate and they all had a blast including my husband and I. I love that they have umbrellas and chairs available as well as coolers (wish they had bigger ones). I rated this a 4 because I think it was a bit pricy and with 6 kiddos we did end up spending a good amount of money on food and drinks.
Had our end of season baseball party. The staff was incredible and accommodated to our needs. The boys had a blast and was sad and tired when we had to leave. A great way to spend 3-5 hours away from their electronics. We DEFINITELY be back.
This place is awesome, full of fun. We have a great time at our family vacation. Beautiful place, great customer service, good food at very reasonable prices. Definitely We will come back.
I highly recommend this place! The service was great and the food and drinks are very reasonably priced! I thought 45 minutes would be too little but we ended up swimming back out to their free area with a few inflatables and stayed there for the whole day . Definitely worth the bang for your buck!
We had a blast! Waterloo Adventures is definitely fun for all ages. The area is clean and the employees/lifeguards are professional and friendly. I rolled my ankle (due to my own clumsiness, Waterloo was NOT at fault) and once I called for the lifeguard, he dropped everything and immediately came to my rescue. He and another employee wrapped and iced my ankle and checked on me periodically. Overall, it was a great time. We will definitely visit again.
Love it. It was so much fun going on the obstacle courses, had a lot of funny fails moments.
4 of us grown adults, 30 years old, did this and had so much fun. First of all, all the staff are friendly. Second of all, everything is so organized from the shuttle to the registration and ride on the boat over to the actual course. We had an absolute blast but we were all pretty tore up and sore the following day. Lol Totally worth it though!
Super fun and challenging!!
This place was SO fun! Its like going on vacation without having to pack! It was 5 star service from shuttle, check-in, boat ride/captain, life guards and island staff. The island is adorable and has a totally tropical feel with the hammocks, chaise lounges, bright umbrellas and great food and drinks. The zipliners are often whizzing by overhead, too! Prices were very reasonable. There is an easy opportunity to gouge with high prices while on the island, but Waterloo Adventures keeps it realsonable, which I totally appreciated. I took my family of five: 50, 50, 14, 12 and 9. EVERYONE had a blast! There are also floating tables in the water if you want to keep a close eye on your children but dont want to do the course. If I had to pick one thing to improve, I would add wait service, but it is honestly perfect the way it is!
This is only a safety announcement before you get on a Waterloo van. One just pulled out in front of us as they were leaving the facility parking lot. Absolutely no regard for oncoming traffic. I would perhaps question whose hands you are putting your life in.
Had an absolute blast at Waterloo today. The beach is beautiful, the course is thrilling and the staff makes everything perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have great time on Lake Travis!!
Super fun place for family and friends
This place is awesome! My 11 and 9 year old had so much fun and I did too! The obstacle course is a blast and you can enjoy 4 other water inflatables all day. It is really well run, it’s a beautiful place to hang out for the day, food truck is great and employees are so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!
This place is amazing. Once you go through the obstacle course for 45 mins, you can relax with an adult beverage while the kids swim. They have thought of everything...we will be back!!!
Fabulous experience... from start to finish! Kids and adults had a great time. Kids are already asking when we can go back again!
So much fun!! Brought my son and he loved it!! Plus super clean, plenty of space to relax, food and drinks super reasonable!
This was a blast and a day well spent. It was a little pricey but the service from boat captains, van drivers and lifeguards was excellent. Thankfully my only interaction with the lifeguards were friendly chats on their breaks.
Our group of 7 adults had a blast here! The course was challenging, a great workout and just plain fun. It felt like we were kids again! The free lockers were a nice touch, staff were friendly and the beers weren’t overpriced. Totally worth the ticket price!
We took our family to Waterloo Adventures for the first time this weekend. Our boys are 12 and 7 years old and had a great time....and so did we! It was exhausting....the most fun workout Ive had in a long time! 45 minutes plus unlimited time on the free standing obstacles was plenty. The setting is beautiful. It feels like you are at a resort and the friendly staff and the people ziplining above you just adds to the fun atmosphere. Definitely go early like they recommend so you can take you time and enjoy everything. We didnt want to leave, but when we did, everyone was grinning from ear to ear and couldnt stop talking about it. We will definitely be going back!!!
Such a fun time! A little pricy...but you factor in everything you get, totally worth it! Phenomenal service, super friendly and fun staff. We will definitely go back!
SUPER FUN, attentive and friendly staff, island is clean and well maintained. BEAUTIFUL private island with umbrellas, picnic areas, hammocks, tables, and they provide life jackets for anyone entering water. There is a food and refreshments truck that serves various food and even beer. I cant wait to go back! Reservations online only. Book earlier in the day so you can take advantage of the free water obstacles and huge slides.
We had a blast at the Waterloo! It was great fun for my 6 year old daughter, me, and the large group of mid-twenty year olds in our session. Between the four open objects, the course, the option to add an additional challenge course session, and the food on site, our next visit should be a full day. The staff were all great, and we look forward to coming back!
Was on the test group for this cool obstacle course built in the water. So amazing!! Definitely a good workout if you push it. Will be back and well worth the money!! Safe design and excellent service!!!
If you like fun on the water you will LOVE Waterloo! The grounds are immaculate (I already had high expectations from Lake Travis Zipline Adventures) and the view is AMAZINGYou can hang out ALL DAY on Adventure Island and Yes they have REAL Restrooms :D (Note: Check out the iceberg)Great time for the entire family on Lake Travis, recommended
Awesome adventure! Grownups made it through the obstacle course once then sat under a nice umbrella and enjoyed watching the other adults. Very entertaining. My daughter did the obstacle course multiple times. We will definitely be back!!! I like that they make you get out of the water 45 minutes, otherwise it’s hard to get my daughter out for water breaks and sunscreen applications
Definitely recommend Waterloo Adventures water park. We were a party of 4 adults age 19 to 59. The obstacle course was challenging and lots of fun. It is not as easy as it looks! Plenty of fun spills into the water. The park area is clean and the water is great on a hot texas day. The lifeguards were attentive and provided good safety briefings. The iceberg challenge got the better of 3 of our group but one stood tall at the top and jumped into the water below! Take plenty of sunscreen, towels and some money to buy refreshments at the food trailer or drink hut. The lifejackets fit our group well and were in very good condition (they are almost new!). They also provide swim saddles however our group decided not to try them out. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the full admission price is a little steep. A price reduction of 15 - 20% would put cost right in line with our expectations.
This is a blast!!! Im in my early 30s and not at all in shape but this is sooo much fun! The slide was my favorite part. I love how they have ladders to get on the obstacle course through out because every time I would fall off and think to myself awe man, gotta swim back around but then Id look and there was a ladder not far, whew! Oh, and the landscaping is gorgeous...you can tell a lot of love went into building this with the ultimate lake experience in mind =) Id pay to just relax in a hammock and soak up their view for a couple hours. A must for anyone with $50
Cant wait to get there. I believe $50 would be well worth it! Have friends that have gone to parks like this and had a blast. I will repost when we finish our trip
Took a trip here with my girlfriend thinking it was more for little kids.. WRONG, this place Is for all ages. Had a BLAST at Waterloo island!! This trip will make granny feel like shes fresh out the womb again. Def will be back. Until next time waterloo... its been real
Amazing time we had. Yes, its $50/per person, but you can stay all day. The obstacle closes at 4pm, but you can stay on the other floating attractions for however long. They also proivde van and boat transportation, free ice water, free umbrellas, free life jackets; the hammocks and picnic tables are free. There is a bar and a food stand. You can also enjoy people above the area zip lining every few minutes. Worth every penny
Super fun
Awesome day at the lake! Boat ride, all day in the water, great obstacle course, relaxing land area, good food and drinks. What more could you ask for? Definitely comingback!
Looooved it here! I went with 8 other people and we had a blast! The food was okay which is why Im not giving 5 stars but other than that, it was a great place to have fun and hang out for a while.
Let start by saying that this is the most fun ive had on the lake in a long time! Boating around, hanging in coves, tubing, surfing, and all are great fun, dont get me wrong, but this obstacle course is something totally different and awesome. Ive been back twice and had just as much fun both times. The kids cant get enough and heck, even the adults were all having such a great time. I highly recommend this for all ages! The water is always so nice in Lake Travis and this is a fantastic way to experience it. Some may balk at the cost per person but trust me, its worth it!
Lots of fun great for adults and kids.
My son and husband got a sneak preview today and it was awesome! Hubby got a work out and my son had a blast - he can’t wait to go back.
Had a blast! Cannot wait to go back again.
Great staff and the island will knock your socks off, it is beautiful!!!waterloo is a great idea for couples, friends or a family day at lake travis
Fun but exhausting. Try not being a Potato
Was excited until I found the $50 per person rate... wont attract repeat customers at that rate... schlitterban isnt that far away folks
Lots of fun. My children loved it and said it was even better than Schlitterbahn. If you are bit more sedentary though, I can see the thrill in sitting on a tube and letting gravity do all the work (I.e. Schlitterbahn). If you want to push yourself a little more and expend a few calories so that you look good in a Speedo, then Waterloo is the place to be.
Great family fun
Got to try it out with a bunch of mr friends a few days early! Lots of fun, would highly reccomend.
Fun fun fun! Right next to our boat docks
Pretty fun place
Really fun
Oof
Loved it!
