Absolutely love the walking trails theyve added even though I do miss seeing all of the open spaces and that big tree by scenic hwy. Its also nice that theyve added extra parking and a way to get in and out on scenic hwy side. Also if youre a Pokémon go player they have plenty of stops to spin

Open, spacious park with great play ground for kids, dog park, large pavilion and green space. Two separate spaces for small dogs and large dogs,seems to be a hit. Plenty of people there in the middle of the day, in the middle of the week. 4 stars because you can only enter going South on scenic hwy. No entrance coming north.

Beautiful clean park.. serene, big enough to walk or exercise, just have a picnic. Great place for dog lovers too. Kids had a lot of fun.

Love this park. Its clean and safe and has everything. Plenty of open fields, disc golf, two big playgrounds, a lake, accessible bathrooms, dog parks and many pavillions and nice trails. Weve been going here for years.

We usually enjoy the dog park at Alexander. However there have been some very aggressive dogs there lately. Watch out for the pit bull Merrill on the big dog side. Dog park needs to be regulated more. Unfortunately I wont be bringing my dog back anytime soon after being attacked.

My daughter loved this park. It was plenty of play equipment. It was crowded but, im glad we went with our masks on...

This was my first time to Alexander Park. It is nicely maintained. Theres a very nice lake as well as a disc golf course and a playground. There are 2 options for walkers/runners - a paved path or a gravel path. All the trails are clearly laid out and a joy to walk. I am 65 years old with bad knees but I found the outer paved trail easy to manage. There are only a couple of minor elevation changes. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful Park with walking trails. There is a small lake with seating that is captivating. This is a runners or walkers paradise. Not to mention the activity rings and pavilions for kids and adults. I love it!

First time visitors. Very nice and big park. Two playgrounds that we are aware of. A newer one at the entrance for older kids and an older smaller kid one a little further in. Big gated dog park with table and benches to sit. Bathrooms were ok. Plenty of parking spaces, big pavilions. There were a lot of families but it was so big that social distancing didnt seem to be a problem.

Took my dad and his dog for the 1st time and it was wonderful. Unfortunately, his dog has never been socialized, so she was a little nervous. The only downside was that some dog owners dont pick up after their pets. Aside from this, the park is BEAUTIFUL!

Very safe, easy, we’ll maintained trails. This is my go-to park. Yes, there are always people here, but enough distance apart so it doesn’t feel over crowded. Great for walking or running. There’s disc golf, children’s playground, a lake, bathrooms.

This place was renovated a while back is now a gorgeous park with a fantastic disc golf course and dog park. The park is very big and has plenty of space. Probably one of my favorite places to visit and definitely play a round of disc golf.

Gwinnett has amazing parks and this park is no exception. It has a good disc golf course, dog park, and several playgrounds. My only complaint is that it is busy. But that is the price of being popular.

I feel safe and comfortable. Being in the park. And the police are always there. The park landscaping crew. Does a great job. Taking care of park.

I love this park! The expansion just tops the cake. Clean bathrooms (at least when I went) placed near playground for those of us with small kids. Lake/pond on park grounds. We always spot turtles sun bathing or swimming in the water when we visit. Fishing available. Open walking/ bike paths through the park and short wooded areas also available. Open fields and courts also available.

This is an amazing park, very safe and open. Minister Stephanie officiated a beautiful ceremony in the park for this couple. They had a great time and it made for great pictures. Make sure you look out for her! #officiantlyforeveryours

We had a blast. Stayed from 3-7pm. Great group of kids to play with for the little ones. All breeds of pups out to say Hello as well.

Love this park...the trail is awesome and my dog loves the dog park...there a separate one for big and small dogs. And i love sitting by the lake.

Today was the first day I ever came to this park. Its large, had a variety of different paths, clean, pet friendly, and safe. My dog and I would come back again. Beautiful place to relax at.

No dog park as far as I know, but the path is nice, as are the pond and Frisbee Golf.

Very well kept with a nice, big dog park. Be careful in that narrow parking lot though.

This is a great park to bring your family. They have a decent sized playground with covered pavilions for birthday parties, family gatherings and plenty of places to sit.

Not too crowded and most people do pick after they pets. Clean and quiet place to go for a walk and think through things.

Nice park . Very huge . Has many trails on either concrete and gravel. Gravel is more comfortable for my feet . Lots of sitting for rest. 2 play grounds and now two openings into the park.

Very nice park. Disc golf course a little difficult to locate at first but easy going once found. Decent mix of wooded and open holes. Course fairways were really well maintained

We love Alexander Park! The boys love the disc golf course and the girls love to walk and scooter around the walking path. The kids also enjoyed the new playground!

Love the new dog park. The park overall is clean and well kept. However I would love if they had more pavilion and/or table benches.

Took my 3 year old daughter to ride her tricycle and it was little in the hilly side for her. Other that that it’s open and pretty. Playgrounds are super rad. It was incredibly busy as well. Be safe out there.

Nice park, especially for walking/running. Lots of shade and rest areas. Playground is super nice (if it were open). My boys had fun just walking around and seeing the lake.

Recent renovations at this park have really made it stand out. There more room for kids to play, biking, jogging, and much need room for parking. Also a nice sized playing area for dogs.

Ive always loved this park. I moved out of town as well as deployed, so I missed all of the additions to the park. I have recently visited with my dog and to my surprise they added a dog park! It has so much space and freedom for the dogs. I love every aspect of the park.

This is one of the most amazing parks Ive ever seen! Its huge - lots of benches, playgrounds, a walking track, nice woods, open space, and great spots for picnics. It was great to see so many people and families enjoying the beutiful day. We truly had an amazing experience!

Groups were exercising in the new pavilions!!! Kids were playing on the playground!!! Its a beautiful experience every time I come!!! This is one of my favorite things about living in Gwinnett!!!

A busy park. Folks riding bicycles, walking, picnicking, playing games, etc. Gray place to take kids. Cons, driving is a bit tight either direction. Huge park with more open walking paths then wooded paths. Also a good park just to park to relax.

The walking trail is nicely laid out and the park has 2 convenient entrances. The lake is also nice to look at.

Great place to walk and clear your mind

Rarely do I give 5 stars because nothing/no one is perfect, but since the renovations to this park, its damn near close...The walking trails have been expanded, there are two or three large playgrounds for kids, areas for small kids to ride their bikes, an area to actually fish(bring your fishing gear!) and a very large grassy area to run and play or even have a game of kickball or soccer or have a picnic or just rest in the shade. There is an abundance of benches and the atmosphere is very, very family oriented...I will mention an incident that happened today, my children and grandchildren were sitting at a table getting ready to have lunch. There was a 12/13 year old Hispanic boy and mother sitting at the other table...I need to mention that there are areas for basketball playing, but this child kept bouncing that loud basketball right near our table, I asked him politely to stop. He did, but his Mom shouted This is a public place and he can do whatever he wants to do... Honestly, I was taken back by her behavior, I understood that its a public place, but that does not give me or anyone else to infringe on the rights or peacefulness of others that are trying to enjoy the amenities... Then again, maybe I was wrong, seems like alot of people do not care about manners or their neighbor...

Disc golf course is so good!

My family and I enjoyed our picnic in a pavillion, while other families were on the grass. It was nice and accommodated everyone and their activities.

We love this park. I have teenagers and they love this park.

Such a cool place to play disc golf especially. A great open / wooded course for a good variety. Some investment in a practice basket near hole 1 and the installment of more brooms to clean tee pads would be great, but still a great and well maintained course.
