This was a beautiful park! There was a playground too for the kids which was nice. The bathroom was clean and well kept. Parking was plenty, but we also went during a weekday. The water is to your left of the bathroom and playground to the right. The trails are paved so very stroller friendly.

This is a very nice park in Lawrenceville!There isnt much to do here other than admiring its beauty. Freemans mill is a 12 acres park, with a 0.5 mile paved trail where you will find historic gristmill with a very majestic mill wheel, and a waterfall.There is also a playground that looks just like the gristmill and it is the cutest. Very family friendly park with lots of stuff to do for kids,Now there are plenty of signs that said no swimming, but lots of people were swimming, and diving there so I am not sure about what the situation is.There is plenty of parking in the area, and available restrooms. This is park is well maintained so make sure to clean after yourself if youre having a picnic or just visiting.ESPAÑOL¡Este es un parque muy bonito en Lawrenceville!No hay mucho que hacer aquí aparte de admirar su belleza. El molino de Freeman es un parque de 12 acres, con un sendero pavimentado de 0.5 millas donde encontrará un molino histórico con una rueda de molino muy majestuosa y una cascada.También hay un patio de juegos que se parece al molino y es el más lindo. Parque muy familiar con muchas cosas que hacer para los niños,Ahora hay muchas señales que decían que no se podía nadar, pero mucha gente estaba nadando y buceando allí, así que no estoy seguro de cuál es la situación.Hay mucho estacionamiento en el área y baños disponibles. Este parque está bien mantenido, así que asegúrese de limpiar después de usted si está haciendo un picnic o simplemente de visita.

Freemans Mill Park is a very nice little park in Gwinnett. Although its fairly small in size compared to many of other Gwinnett parks it has nice features to make up for it. The playground looks really nice for the children although we didnt get to let them play because all of the playgrounds are currently closed. The old mill house is very interesting and there are a few plaques to read that are very informative. The waterfall is definitely the best feature here though. Its fairly big and very calming.

Great place to take the family to see a little history and some great nature. Good parking close to the waterfall.

Nice place for a short stroll with or without your pup. Nice size parking lot and bathrooms available. We came early morning (before 9am) so not that many cars. Enjoy! We did!

Nice little short but paved walking or jogging path in the woods to the mill.

Police officers were giving verbal warnings and/or citations for people swimming or climbing on the rocks. There was a rescue that took place about 5 days ago on July 15th 2019 so the officers were patrolling the park pretty vigilantly. Its pretty, but not worth the drive to stand and look. The playground had a fountain that would be so cool if it was working. Otherwise the playground had no shade and was sweltering hot.

I was a little disappointed but its because I had a preconceived notion of what this park was. I heard renovated and thought the mill had been restored and was working and sadly that wasnt the case. The mill was closed but you could peek in the windows and it looks like its more of a history lesson for how the mill operated when it was a working mill. It would take a lot to restore this site to its former glory and use. The shoals were nice and the water running over the dam was beautiful. Walking trail is only .5 miles and not much. The playground looked awesome and could accommodate exceptional children.

Turn of the century grist mill with easy pathways, a playground and a stream and falls. It is a beautiful, peaceful setting especially on a hot summer day.

Beautiful landscape, nice picnic tables by the water. A lot of people in and around the water. Since we like walking trails, didn’t find any here. Not as big as other parks or as well rounded, but beautiful surroundings.

This was so nice I visited it twice I invited my friend he loved the waterfall we had great conversation with others in the park

Keep in mind that this is a very small park. The sound and view of the small water fall was beautiful.

What a neat find. It is in the process of being rehabbed but it was still cool to see the history in the building itself and the dam with the waterfall is beautiful.

Place is great since they just opened it back up has a great waterfall for the while family to enjoy on a hot day. Definitely a place you want to be over the summer

Cute park. Not as big as I thought it would be, but definitely worth the ride for great pics and to take the kids out. Love the history behind it and the tiny waterfall is nostalgic.

This was a scenic, but small park. The trail wasnt even a mile. Great place to relax or walk your dog, but not really big enough for exercising. The mill was very pretty though.

Beautiful place... Lawrenceville little hidden gem!

Freeman’s Mill Park is a small park near Lawrenceville, Georgia with historic mill, and building. Though you can not enter the building. There is a small, I assume man made lake with waterfall. A children play ground. Relatively large parking lot for the size of the park with lavatories. Parking is free. No entrance fee.

Was nicer before all the trash started swimming there, in spite of signs instructing otherwise.

Great Park has swing, monkey bars see saw. Walking trail with challenging grade changes. Steep hills. Gazebo for picnics. Picnic tables by the stream.

Great park for hiking and taking photos. The water runs through the park. It is dog friendly and has a great play area for the kids.

The mill and waterfall are the main attractions here but the playground is super nice too.

Kids had a blast and locals were helpful...pointing out where to jump and what to avoid. *Do not go when flash floods are predicted. This place made the news with several adult and child rescues the week after we visited.

Great little park...has a nice water fall, river you can play in the summer/take good pictures. Also has a childrens playground and small walking trail.

At the water fall is where my son is getting married with the waterfall drop in the background but although posted no swimming, waving jumping off there were a bunch of people there doing just that.

I love this park so much! Its the number one for me. i always pick this one out of all in gwinnett! I love the fact thatIt has 2 waterfalls. Even though they seem man made, its great to have them in this area. Its also a super clean park and the park areas (where they have the slides, ) floor is very cushioned. (Its like a mat) for the safety of kids. Also it has a great walking trail too. This park is small though, but perfect for me.

This is a wonderful piece of Gwinnett County history that is being restored by the county. It has a short walking trail that takes you down by the water. It also has a restroom and childrens playground on the property. I look forward to returning when the project is complete.

1st visit here and they were putting signs up saying no walking or swimming in the water. If you go pass the signs or go into the wtaer you face a fine/ticket. Families be warn this is not a family friendly park. 2 bozos ruined it for everyone 2 wks ago. Irresponsible parents at its finest.

What can I say. The water was a little too wet and the dirt had a little too much dirt in it but other than that its a good park for the fam.
