This place was so awesome! The way the rocks just change color, the way things just lay out in front of you! The paintings and carvings on the wall were amazing to see as well. It really makes you feel small. I wish everyone had the chance to see this place. I will be going back again. Its beautiful. All the little animals we saw. Lol the white chipmunk, the Jack rabbit, and the best.... The little road runners. My wife loved it.
What a great place to drive too. It was close to the strip and amazing views. I will never forget it! It does get very hot out there so we will bring a lot more water next time!
Amazing view and its free! Go when the sun is going down for extra beautiful pictures.
The Overlook allows you to see a sweeping view of the area. Its actually gorgeous. But to me, the main attraction is the motorcycles that congregate there. Bikes of all makes and models are often on display there and in one sense, its a display as invigorating as the expansive landscape itself.
Beautiful place to visit when traveling thru Las Vegas, only about 25 minutes from downtown. To enter the park reservations must be made ahead of time. Bring a sweater can get a bit chilly during fall winter months.
Its beautiful! Our son got married here & the sunset was amazing the way it lit up the rocks.
Amazing. Beautiful place to take pictures. Also there are baby chipmunks/squirrels that are so cute.
Take a break from the tables and go see Redrock Canyon! If you like to hike, go early to veat the heat. Take a couple quarts of water and gave snacks in the car. Beautiful area and only minutes from the city.
Clean, cool, calming and a great place to picnic and hike. Dog friendly as long as u pick up after them and have them on a leash.
Absolutely beautiful rock formations with hiking trails just 20 miles west of Las Vegas. Nearby is a place you can rent horses for trail rides.
Beautiful place. Highly recommend paying the entrance fee and seeing the sites. This is a must see.
It was such a surreal Beauty it was so breathtaking that it made you want to stay there all day long you can take pictures and enjoy the scenery all while having a picnic with your favorite loved one.
Phenomenal views and great places to hike. If you come to Las Vegas its a must see.
What a Amazing place! We enjoyed it so much!Highly recommended for anyone visiting Las Vegas much see☆☆☆☆☆☆The Natural Beauty of Nature♡♡♡
Close to Las Vegas. Well maintained national reservation park. If you have national park annual pass, they will let you in for free. About 14 to 16 mile drive to enjoy the view and many view points.
The scenery is absolutely incredible. The loop around takes you to view points where you can park and take pictures and take in the views. There are trials off the road that take you closer to the nature and offer some stunning photo opportunities. Youd be remiss if you didnt go around while you were here!
Always a beautiful sight! Can become crowded but people stay their distance from one another.
This place was absolutely amazing. The views were incredible and the colors were gorgeous.
Very serene beautiful place. About 30 minute drive outside main Las Vegas strip. They have parking area and restrooms. Offers a beautiful view of the natural setting.
Beautiful and serene during sunset. Wish it wasnt hazy the time I visited, I could have probably seen the colors of the sky a bit better. There is a parking lot where you can comfortably sit and watch the sun setting over the canyon. There are restrooms on site. This location was nice to experience once but would probably not come back here again.
Beautiful scenic views no matter what time of year and the drive out there is equally as gorgeous.
Nature is so beautiful, must see spot in the desert, great road trip conversational drive to and from red rock. Relationship and self awareness visit must do again.Highly recommended
Beautiful scenery! Red rock canyon also has many trails for you to go on! Definitely recommend.
Amazing views! Very different and changing along the scenic view. Just notice that the entrance fee is 15$ and not 7$ as it was before.
Really nice view if you want to just drive around the mountain for a bit and get away from the Vegas strip.
I found this area to be very beautiful with great views and many awesome hikes.
Rode my bike out here on a Tuesday. People seemed to respect the bike lane. The space is wide open and everyone there seemed to be practicing social distancing with room to spare. Would worry about this place on weekends.
Absolutely gorgeous place to spend the day. The pictures do not do it justice, I highly recommend everyone see it with their own eyes. Absolutely loved it!
Great bike rides around the loop. Take plenty of water :-)
Just 20 min north of the Vegas strip lies amazing geology, hiking trails, and Instagramable shots everywhere you turn. $15 entry fee as its BLM land or use your America the Beautiful pass to enter for free. These are not really handicap accessible type trails here. You do have to be careful because a fall could get you hurt. But everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves scrambling on the rocks and even the bad weather doesnt slow the amount of people coming in. Plan about 2 to 4 hours here if want to get your shoes dusty.
Beautiful scenery. We went to let go some balloons with helium and some ashes of our dear friend. It was Beautiful.
Enjoyed the wild and natural beauty of nature...Red Rock affords bountiful enjoyment
One of the best natural views in the valley. Bring a little coffee and a pastry and watch the sunrise.
Amazing Scenery and Saw Some Mountain Goats
It was so awesome loved going hiking & getting to spend time with my boyfriend...
Very nice viewpoint.Easy in-out and plenty of parking.
Nice spot to visit outside the city. Makes for a good mini weekend road trip
I took my family there at night and we were able to see a gorgeous night summer sky with many stars.
Visitor center was closed but the hike was fantastic
Beautiful and Serene! Love seeing the wild burros! Is scared me to death when one stuck his face in my window! Was scared he was going to grab my purse or my hand LOL
My absolute favorite place to go when I just want to enjoy the sights and weather of Redrock. You can even take little adventure walks down to the flash flood area, of course when its dry not raining. We just so happen to have gone this past time while it started snowing.
Love the fresh air and the surroundings it was beautiful view and enjoyed the Earth war with my lovely wife on our anniversary
Very cool and easy site to get to. It’s free and has a decent amount of parking. There are bathrooms here as well. You can come and picnic here and even go hike around. Very good views at anytime of the year. Even a nice place to go at night. Winter time is amazing when it snows in the area. Bonnie springs is also very close to here too. The red rock loop also exits right next to here.
Perfect space to view the Red Rock area without having to make a big commitment. There’s usually very few people there, plenty of parking. There’s a very short walk (.25 miles) with two benches along the way to sit and enjoy.
Love the beauty of nature no place like this
Wonderful scenic drive and the visitor center is impressive! We enjoyed so much here!
The park was closed, not sure why. So we came down to the overlook. Good view.
Beautiful, visiting center is recommended it is a very pretty drive
Great short trip from Vegas!! Very very busy during the holidays so plan accordingly.Beautiful place to send a Vegas afternoon
Red Rock was beautiful! Highly recommend!
Very impressive layered rock canyon formations
Beautiful scenery with some hiking paths that’s a short drive from the strip
Close to Las Vegas easy get away.
Such a beautiful sight. The restrooms are clean. Perfect place for a picnic
This is my favorite spot at Red Rock Canyon. You can get a beautiful view of the entire park without having to pay the rising entrance fee. There is a nice little paved trail that goes towards the east, next to the helicopter pad. It has a few benches along the way to sit and enjoy the view.
Great spot for pictures
Always I get inspired every time I go to Redrockcanyon!, Either for hiking or walk around the trails you forget about everything and it keep you motivated!
This overlook offers a breath taking view of the backside of Red Rock Canyon. Its a pull off area past the main park entrance further West on Charleston Road. This is one of those sights that really makes you feel so small with the vast landscape and beautiful natural rock and sand colors. I highly recommend stopping here and snapping a few shots alone or with your loved ones or friends! Theres also a free hiking area that offers beginer to advance hiking terrain. The turn off is just West of the pay area and East of this overlook... Happy hunting!
This is a absolute marvel of nature. 180-million years-old. Thanks Bro John Huerta. And our guide. My #1 BFF Babe Gracie Herrera. 27 July, 2018.
Gorgeous location, very stunning, worth the drive.
Fresh air and great nature scenery...
Cute little stop on the highway where you can park and have a picnic and take pictures alone or with friends. While I was there I saw a wedding party taking photos.
Sunset in Red Rock!!!Looks Great!
One of the most unique and beautiful places I have ever seen in my life.
Fantastic view!! come see the snow before it melts
Beautiful scenery. Love the scenery. Did not see any burros this trip. I recommend if you want a break from the casinos.
Mother nature is breath taking.
Drove to Red Rock to view the Neowise Comet. As always a beautiful drive.
Good place to visit only about a 25 minute drive from tbe vegas strip sign.i would recommend the loop visitors drive and also going to see the visitors center cuz of the lookout.it is beautiful.
We loved visiting here! Definitely plan on spending some time here.
Close enough for a day drive but far enough to feel out of the city. I recommend this stunning drove for locals and tourists! I will definitely be returning.
It was nice. Good lookout . Thats about it.
It was a solid short hike and cave trail, perfect way to spend a free weekend day with friends!
Such a beautiful place!! A must do if you have a rental car go!!
Nice place for a quick day trip from Las Vegas; great for hiking, climbing and some photos.
Beautiful. Its only 20 minutes from the strip and well worth the time to get there. A small slice of natural beauty in a city famous for being less than genuine
A very special treat in the middle of the Mohave desert.
Arrived around 1p and stayed for about 2 hours. Loved the Calico Hills especially. I took the 13 mile tour, hiked a bit and pulled off several times to take photos. I would love to return! For $15 this place is solid.
Definitely go to Red Rock Canyon if you go to Vegas. Im so glad we went! Absolutely breathtaking!
The canyon is so peaceful. You can here your heart beat. The red rocks are beautiful. This is one place that I will come back to.
Excellent, got married here two years ago, went back to celebrate.
Nice nature visit. Best part of Vegas.
Beautiful and colorful rock formations. Couldnt get in due to being full to capacity. Freezing cold in the winter.
Beautiful views, great day with family
Beautiful and peaceful especially during sunset.
Worth the drive everytime. It is so relaxing and beautiful and just....amazing!
It was snowing here.. that was amazing. The canyon was closed due to heavy snow but the view was amazing. Scenic drive around the canyon.
The Fourteen Mile Drive is really cool . Several places to pull out and take pictures .
Picturesque and scenic. Dont feed the horses or burros. $500 fine!!
This is a beautiful trip to make if you like nature. There are many hiking trails and places to get out and see the amazing sights.
Get outside and enjoy the scenery! Its beautiful here and there are hikes if every skill level. We saw 4yr olds on our hike today.
Road open ... DRIVE SLOW AND EXTRA ROOM BETWEEN CARS, some people have a pee size brain ...Was beautiful with all the snow ...
Absolutely worth taking the 13 Mile drive around. Breathtaking views.
