Awesome spot for kids 3-D without the corporate gauging ....

Great place to take the kids while keeping the price reasonable. Like most places they make their money off of the popcorn, but the seats were surprisingly comfortable.

Even though this is an older theater its still a nice theater to see cheap movies at Tuesday nights are a $1.50 and every other night is $3. The night I went they had many of the Academy award nominated movies playing.

It is nice to see a movie without paying the high prices. The seats have gotten upgraded. The snacks are somewhat reasonably priced. So, I would have to give it another star. Thank you to all the employees that help run the cinema.

We simply love this theater! This is a gem as is the drive-in theater in town. The staff is kind and helpful. Ma and Pa operated I believe. They keep it clean and the popcorn fresh. Its great for catching movies you may have missed in the larger more expensive theaters. The seats are comfortable and you cant beat the price. Movies before 6pm are $2 and Tuesdays is $1 day. After 6pm movies are $3. So glad to have this theater as an option.

Went for their rocky horror picture show once a month event. Had a lot of fun though since I hadnt seen the movie I missed a lot of what the movie had to say because of the crowd but thats the point. Was going to get snacks but they had us line up outside till it started so I just skipped snacks. At least the weather was nice though everyone else was complaining it was cold.

Best deal anywhere for movies! Only second-run house in town (that we know of) right in our neighborhood. Six auditoriums showing films seven days a week, prices normally range from $1.50 to $3.00. Cant beat that! Traditional movie snacks, game arcade in the lobby, plenty of parking, places to eat all around the neighborhood. This is our place for movie night!

My son is 5 and we werent sure if he would be able to sit through an entire movie. This place was a perfect choice because if we had to leave, it was only $2. The snacks are the same price as a regular theatre, but they have to make money some how.

Going to the movies in any of the casinos can be a pain. I just take it for granted that most places are going to be wheelchair accessible, unfortunately thats not always the case. I wasnt sure what I had gotten myself into because after we parked the car we tried to find a ramp to get to the ticket office but it was hard to find. There was only one side that had a ramp and it isnt marked at all. Anyway, I had heard about this theater plenty of times but never tried it until now. This theater reminded me of the movie theaters I went to when I was younger. Lets start with the biggest draw, the price. I went on a Tuesday so the movie was only $1.50 (talk about a bargain). The movie we saw was in the theater just a week or two ago. When you go inside there are only like 6 theaters but thats plenty (who remembers when movie theaters only showed one new movie at a time?) It was a matinee so there was no ticket taker. I found the entrance a little narrow to maneuver my wheelchair through. Once we got inside, we immediately smelled popcorn popping (a must in my book).You then see the concession stand, a few video games and an ATM. The prices at the concession are on par with other theaters in town but there is a bargain here too, $1 hot dogs. I did find it difficult to open the doors into the theater & it took me a few attempts. Even though the movie hadnt started, the theater was very dark so I wasnt able to find the section marked for wheelchairs. It wasnt a big deal since I had planned to move onto one of their seats. So I just found a seat & transferred. These seats dont recline but theyre were comfortable. From what Im told each theaters seats are a little different. The theater is well kept. The quality of the movie itself was good as was the sound. A big plus for me was that the temperature was perfect. It wasnt hot & it wasnt cold. There was one small problem, the restroom. As someone in a wheelchair I use the one designated stall for the handicapped. It is a very narrow stall. My wheelchair fit but I wasnt able to turn my chair around to leave. My biggest complaint about the restroom was that there were no grab bars. If there is one thing a handicapped bathroom needs its grab bars. I still consider this theater to be a definite find & I cant wait to come back.

I had a great time, staff is pleasant. I was a regular at the Tropicana Cinema, I havent been in a couple of years. But, they still remembered me.Tropicana is a safe clean environment that you can visit alone or with friends.Best $2 I have ever spent!

With my hectic schedule i often miss movies. Great to get to see them here for relatively cheap prices. Make sure to get their popcorn though!

We love coming here.. The popcorn is always fresh, the hotdogs are always a buck (please keep them that way ) and the drinks are always good. Never really had a problem with the staff, they are always very nice and they all know how to do their jobs. Management has always been up to par. Now for the snacks... I feel like they should have more combos on their menu like a big family combo or a combo that incorporates the hotdogs and the nachos but other then that this is literally the best theater to go when your not trying to spend a crazy amount of money. Usually I can go there with 20 buck and get everything that I need and thats snacks, drinks and tickets to whatever showing. I wish the theaters them selves were bigger but for now everything is good.. The best bang for your buck by far.

We love it here! The Manager Kenneth goes out of his way to greet us and is so genuine!The security are always professional! The prices have gone up recently, but still only $1.50 per person on Tuesdays. They are $3.00 on other nights and an additional amount for 3D movies.It is a family atmosphere. I might suggest a remodel of the theatre. The people are wonderful!

Went out with my family to see a flick, had a good time. Movie was $1.50, had a couple of hot dogs which are only a $1.00. Cant beat the price of concessions, very affordable and so much to choose from.

Buck fidty on Tuesdays is a great deal to catch the flics you missed it couldnt justify paying for at the first run theatres.

I thought it was a pretty cool hole in the wall movie theater. For 2 bucks a ticket and half the cost of usual concession stand prices, it really was pretty dope. I like the downtrodden charm of these dollar fifty/two dollar shows a lot and honestly this doesnt disappoint. 2 tickets for John Wick 3, candy and 2 drinks for under 20 bucks. Cant go wrong there when its over 20 bucks just for the tickets at a normal theater.

Very friendly staff. Great prices and nice setting. Every employee speaks to you and genuinely cares how you feel and bend over backwards to help you . I will definitely go back again.

I love this place. Reminds me of when I was a kid. Sometimes you just want to see a movie, minus the fancy over priced seats and this place is just the opposite. Not fancy at all. A little grimy actually but I love the nostalgic feel it has.

Poor customer service. Asked if my nephew left his jacket and the person never gave me eye contact and corrected me. It was not a jacket it was a sweater. Well to the young kid just to let you know its a hoodie.

It was $3.00 for adults on the weekend. I saw ready or not which was cool. Not great but cool. The seating is first come first serve. However, the chairs are kind of tall. So if you sit too far in the back it would be hard for you to see the screen.

Its an amazing place to bring the family especially if youre on a budget. Today my daughter and I saw Uglydolls it was a great movies had a lot of singing which my daughter loved. The theater is always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Very cheap to go watch movies that just left the theaters. It was $10 for 4 of us. Depending on with theater room your movie is in, the seats can be good to very tight and old. Popcorn is always fresh and good with free toppings if you like them. It is an old style theater, so if you are looking for high tech screens and sounds, this is not for your. However, the 3D movies are good and the sound in all of the rooms are good. Cost for a 3D movie is $3.50 per person. You cant beat that. It is a budget theater the gives you the movie experience without costing an arm and a leg. The place is old but it is clean. They even have video games in the lobby like theaters used to have. Going to the movies here is like being in the movies. A blast from the past. Overall, it is a good place to go on a budget and still get that movie theater experience. Bring cash. The popcorn is cash only. Also, for tickets, there is a $5 minimum for credit cards. Tuesday is half off.

For a cheap theatre, its awesome! I give this place a 4 star because of the excellent service, UNBEATABLE price, and decent selection of movies. They lose a star because every single time i go there (4+ times a month), the bathrooms are always gnarly... Its the patrons who use it like an outhouse, but I did wish the tenants would check it once and a while.I still love this place and will continue to frequent this location, but the bathrooms are not always the cleanest.

For part of town its in, about what I expected in terms of smell in commons area. For $2 admission though I sure didnt pay for any reason to complain. Theater seemed clean, seats dont recline or anything special but not uncomfortable, and A/V was par.

Love the team here everyone is great service. The movies are not first run so you have less of a crowd which is great but the movies are still amazing, you get the big hits just a few weeks later in the big screen. Popcorn and soda are cheap and fresh. Never had a bad time here. I see the crew always working and laughing. They make a good team. Good vibes in this place. Managers hire good people. I like that. Good service from good people. Friendly people with good customer service keep me coming back.

I like this little cinema its all cash and the theaters are dated but the customer service was great and the food wasnt a bad price for 2 it was about 27.00 for the whole nite out..

After-theater-before-Redbox movies for $2? Really what more could you want? Well Ill tell you what more you want: overpriced snacks with a twist (they got popcorn seasonings; I recommend white cheddar with caramel mixed together), free refills on large items, a staff that actively tries hard to keep the place clean, and a fresh cotton candy machine. Thats right cotton candy; maybe you all arent excited by the prospect, but I happen to love the pure sugar coma-inducing fluff. The place really is nothing fancy, basically a nostalgic 4-room theater that reminds you of the movies you used to go see as a kid. But hey, youre getting the movie theater experience for a fourth of the cost of a new fancy-shmancy theater.

I really like this place and its $2 for a matinee which is amazing. If youre looking for brand new seats etc then this inst the place for you but it was comfortable and clean with a staff who were very polite and friendly. You can see a cheap movie and then go a mile down the road to the Pinball Hall of Fame for some more cheap fun.

Went here yesterday to watch secret pet life 2 .... i always enjoyed reasonably priced movies my only issue with this visit is i was bit by something and once outside my arm had a welt on it size of my palm. Bug bombs maybe in your future

This is a great little theater for second run movies. Its $2 per ticket, popcorn is delicious (albeit the same price as a normal theater). Sound and picture quality are both good. This is a great place to beat the heat or catch a late showing. The surrounding neighborhood looks a little rough, but the theater itself is clean.

A great option for catching up on movies you may have missed, and the ticket prices really cant be beat. For only $2 (weekly $1 dollar options, but beware of children and crying babies), this is my new go to spot for films that I may have missed during their original release. Dont expect reclining seats (mine was rather squeaky), but the manager was nice and even held the door open for me when I went to see Venom last week. Food prices are comparable to higher end theaters; I really enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Thumbs up!

I really dig this groovy theater. The prices are fair for the snacks. The movie prices are really good. They play the Rocky Horror Picture show their if you wanna attend come early for that showing because the line gets very long outside the box office. I hope this place never closes. Its $2 buckaroonies to see a MOVIE here!!!! And although the movies they play here are released nationwide 3 or 4 months prior, the movie is still new to you if you havent seen it. Duh!! They usually have 4 or 5 different showings to choose from and there is always a guaranteed kids movie. So grab the kids and go have a family night of fun for just under $10 bucks. You cant beat that anywhere!! Head to the Tropicana Cinemas today!!!

I absolutely love this place. This movie theater has been there for decades. I use to view flicks there as a high school student and went there last time at age 40. Very inexpensive prices for their shows, food, snacks, etc. Great for families, kids, dates for couples, etc. I hope they never shut down.

I have been coming here for about 9 years. It used to be very affordable for my large family but this past time that we went. Their concession prices were outrages just like a regular theater. Was not happy about it. It kinda lost its nostalgic old-school feel to it. Dont think well drive to other side of town to this theater anymore.

Spent $67 dollars at the concession stand. Went back and needed an extra cup of nacho cheese. Had $1 in my pocket. Came out to a $1.08. Wouldnt let me use the card again unless I ordered $5+ more in food. Told him I just spent $67 kid just shurgged his shoulders at me.

We shallSee if we are subjected to 20 general advertisements, 20 studio themed movie previews; and finally the theatersPro mos. Having to be at work at 2 p.m.With 1:35 min runtime an 11:30 startwe would get to enjiy a flick. Didnt get thru 1/2 of Adams family before needing to leave. So far it seems this is the newWave.Advertising just as numerous,but it feels LiL less agitating. $22.50 vs$3.00 on admissions.

The theater was newly remodeled and there was comfortable seating it was really great. We saw a movie in 3D which was really awesome. The concessions were not too expensive for example, they have one dollar hot dogs. All around good experience and we really enjoyed the movie. I will definately be coming back again to watch more great movies.
