This was a fantastic course! It was well kept and in great condition. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming. The tee time I played on unfortunately witnessed a coyote hunt down and catch a bird on the 11th green, it was very National Geographic. I loved Stallion Mountain and I would definitely play here again.
This is the best local course in town imo. Play for around $30. Greens hold the ball well and run very flat. A little slow but no bumps. Staff is very nice.
I love the course lay out. Unfortunately the fairways are not in good shape due to a water supply issue, however the greens were nice. The staff is also really friendly and I hope they can resolve their water issue soon to get the course back up to par.
12 Oct the course is not ready. I figured bad much with the inexpensive tee time on Golf Now. I do wish the courses on the app were required to notify customers prior to allowing them to book. Greens are not just slow...but super slow. Fairways still need a couple more weeks to be grown in and cut.
Very friendly in getting a tee time and whole experience. Awesome job
Fairways are bad. Lift, clean and place. Greens are good. No drinking water or clubhouse food services available. Golfnow.com price was good, though.
I played here for the last time. The Marshall has the nerve to tell us to pick up the pace, not knowing that there was group who would rather skip a hole then to wait. He also had the nerve to rush us knowing that it was cart path only due to over seed. The last couple of times I had horrible experiences. Before they shut down to over seed, I had played there and I swear every hole had a huge puddle of mud, a sprinkler was always running on almost every hole. Again this past Saturday is going to be my last time playing there.
Had a great time with my nephewAn his wife at there wedding. It was nice . Good time miss my brother....
Played the course today...06/28/20. It was in horrible condition...completely burned out & the bunkers were absolute concrete! The course should be closed....stay away. I wouldnt play the course if they paid me to play there....unfortunate cause i always liked Stallion Mountain.....but they have no business being open.....they should be ashamed of themselves. Smh
Stallion Mountain is my favorite course in LV. I was able to play 2 round during my last visit in February before all the social distancing madness. The course was in great shape. The fairway greens were excellent and so were the putting greens. I would recommend for anyone wanting to play a round just 15-20 minutes from the strip.
Brandon and his team are the best in the business! They are so accommodating with great customer service second to none. We have hosted a major college tournament at Stallion Mountain the past 3 years. Players and Coaches all love the course and how the staff treats them, making it one of the best tournaments in college golf. Thank you Stallion Mountain!
This course was very beginner friendly and the staff was incredible. It was not very busy so we enjoyed taking our time hacking it up!Greens fee and rental were very reasonable but we were unable to try any food from the restaurant as they were closed when we were finishing our round.Make sure the GPS is directed to the clubhouse - our initial directions tried to get us into the gated community instead of the golf course. But we will definitely return!
Beautiful and cant beat the price. Was out there for vacation and wanted a great experience without breaking the bank and this place delivered. 25$ tee time on Sunday morning you cant beat with a stick. Not to mention the golf carts had GPS and as soon as you get in the parking lot someone comes by and grabs your clubs and drives you to the pro shop. Got paired with a 2 Vegas locals whos input was invaluable on the course. Will definitely be back!
Staff wasnt the best but the greens are nice
I came to watch my daughter play in a golf tournament and had called your course at about 830 in the morning. I talked to a young lady. I asked her about having a cart to watch my daughter in the tournament. She stated that wasnt a problem and that I did good calling the day of the event. She even put me on hold to ask if they had carts available at around 12 at the time I said I would be there. She said also to make sure I call on tomorrow also to make sure I had one available. When I arrived I talked to another young lady who stated they were out of carts and a very very rude and cocky young man working with her.I am a disabled officer hurt in the line if duty and can not walk far distances and this is how I am treated by your staff. Not that your staff cares but this was my last opportunity to watch my daughter play in college.Thank you for an experience me and my family will never forget.I
Nice course. Brandon was awesome. I Will absolutely play is again!
Awesome time, greens were in good condition. Check-in was seamless - Need to have your iron game sharp - Great value here
Beautiful community. Quiet and friendly.
Looking beautiful after the over-seed, I absolutely love this place. For such a great price I think they’re the best course in Vegas, and definitely the best crew. They treat you like family and genuinely want you to enjoy yourself. I love playing here.
Great course just 20mins from the Las Vegas strip. Good test of Golf and a good layout with a great variation in holes at a bargain price. Golf staff very professional and friendly. A good menu for lunch in a nice clubhouse, again with great service. This was my second visit and I will visit again in the future.
Had to get a piece of mind and I really did. Feeding the ducks and pigeons are really cool and kinda leave you with a heart warm feeling
Went in early March and the course is in good condition. The bunkers however are sub-par. It is still worth a visit. Good value during the peak golf season when greens fees are more expensive.
Great staff greens are awesome
Not in the best shape as I have been accustomed to. Greens and fairways hard as a rock.
Beautiful venue for a wedding!
Ok city course just 15 min from the strip. Flat course in ok shape, easy walk.
This is the best 18 hole golf course in the Las Vegas Valley. Built to be a course on the PGA tour it never made it. You will not find a better course and amenities for the price anywhere.
The people there are great. The course is well laid out. Four tee locations to challenge the better golfers (not me). The price is very attractive to the working class. I have not played a ton of courses but the people here make Stallion Mt my favorite place to play.
Had prom here. The inside is pretty nice yet the ball room was small
It was fun long day cart path only. The course is In great shape greens are good.
My favorite golf course!
This course was alright. Needs to be reseeded.
Way over priced, you can play golf in any muni golf course in California for the same experience.
If I could give it a zero I would. Was in town over the holidays and day of our tee time it was 35 degrees and raining all day in Vegas. We played the next day. Course is meh, staff is rude. The reason for the review is the course lied to Golf Now when I tried to get refunded for the tee times by telling Golf Now the course was open and people played in the rain thus not allowing us to get our pre-paid charges refunded.Golf anywhere else.
Beautiful golf course and playing conditions. The staff was very friendly and helped me get around the course since it was my first time here. The rate was $25 for a 3pm tee time on a Saturday afternoon and the course was empty! I played with no delays in 80 degree weather, finished all 18 holes with plenty of sun left and really enjoyed the round. The course flowed through the community but it didnt take away from the course and the design is challenging yet manageable for all player skill levels. Highly recommended and Ill be back with a foursome next time!
My brother is a home owner at this golf course. So I play often. Good fairways. Descent greens. Good prices. Worth it. Check it out.
It was a rainy and chilly day. So golf was at our pace. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course was in good shape and a $20 special was awesome. A little fungi or mold was on the greens (black patches - Im not a greens keeper), otherwise beautiful course.
Decent test, nice fairways and water hazards. Greens were in bad shape though.
I live there all things are good
Very disappointed at course management . Every year i schedule tee times at Stallion because of its fun, energetic and course management. WRONG!! I brought in a party of 12 and i had two no shows and was charged full price with no exception. Then we waited 40 minutes to tee off. With no drinks special, no free range balls, no nothing. I would understand if this course was a 5 star Pebble Beach landmark. I will make note to all not to play at this course. To General Manager, good customer service means helping golfers efficiently, in a friendly manner. Moreover, be able to handle issues for customers and ensure they are satisfied.
Nice quiet place to live and golf! Security is polite and often patrols!
Nice course!
Just okay... The practice area (with the exception of the bunker) is great. Once out on the course, the fairways are decent, the greens are nice but very slow. The rough is not longer turf as it should be. Rather in many areas its patchy grass and dirt - creating very tight lies. The bunkers are AWFUL! There is little to no sand in them, making a successful sand save next to impossible. Id go again, but only when the rates are at their lowest. I would not pay prime-time rates.
Is a wonderfull place for events great place for this events organizers food drinks and other services.
The staff is excellent!!! I am a handicapped golfer and they allow me to drive very close to the greens with a cart. Also they look out for me because they know Im also a diabetic and in this heat it can be deadly. The course is a good medium hard course, and surprisingly in good shape considering its history. I highly recommend it to someone looking to play a good round of golf at a great Club.
Good golf course. Fairly wide open. Friendly staff. Fairways and greens were good
Great place to play it is in really good shape.
Really nice course. Pretty challenging. Love that the carts have GPS on them. Makes guessing yardage a non issue. Had an issue getting started. No body was on hand to give me a cart, but it got squared away after going back in the clubhouse. Other than that, excellent time.
Great breakfast spot...BEST coffee!
Great course, challenging enough to be interesting. Not too crazy for us high handicappers
Decent course and good location to the Strip. Cart path only as expected due to recent fall re-seeding which shouldn’t stop you. I’d maybe give higher rating but couldn’t play back 9 due to a high school tournament- would have appreciated being informed ahead of time . No big deal played the front 9 twice and lowered my score
Gorgeous home I have for rent. Executive style home. Excellent flooring. Gated, security 24-7
Course is in bad shape
Nice course, but unfortunately they stack the tee times very tight. Waited on every single hole for two groups ahead of us, and there were always two groups behind us waiting when we were teeing off. The front nine took 3.5 hours. Ridiculous.
Could not have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be back. I have already recommended Stallion Mountain to my friends that couldnt make it this year.
Great club
Very nice golf community homes in Las Vegas. If you’re buying or selling real estate, call me
An absolute hidden gem, I would return to this course any time, excellent shape and the price was very inexpensive compared to poorer courses. Staff was awesome, greeting and departing, starter and club house staff was great,Stayed after for a bite and food was very good. Hats off well done I will return next visit... Thank you
Played citation tees( mens standard) great condition wonderful weather. Challenging but fun
Ist time playing here and it was awesome Im a local and I will be back for more mental abuse lol
Nice views. Course in okay condition. Will play again.
Golfed this course 4/9/18. Amazing course!!! Greens were in phenomenal shape, real fair and nice roll. Staff was great! Fairways awesome shape. Will be returning here every year on vacation at least once while Im here.
Enjoyable course but poorly managed. Waited 45 minutes past our schedule before a cart was available. Scheduled another round a couple days later. Followed a foursome playing out of 3 bags and hitting multiple balls on every tee. Result was 5 1/2 hour round. Booked another round because we like the course. Learned at check-ln that our green fees just increased by 23% since it turned daylight saving that day. Great golf course but lack of good management is a black eye.
Amazing course, but not great for the walking
Play there 2 weeks ago and played there in a good six or seven years and its still has some of the best holes in Las Vegas and the price was absolutely amazing 30 bucks after 1. If youre on a budget and you like the Heat this is the place you want to be
Nice place to play golf.
One of the best courses for the price! I always find good rates and the practice area is great. The staff are great! Friendly, helpful, professional. The course from the tips is a nice challenge.
There hospitatly is great and they serve wonderful casadias.
Beautiful golf course. $44 til noon $39 after 12.
Fun playing a narrow fairway course, the greens were extremely quick, the people were very helpful and eager to please, well be back!!
Wonderful place for a wedding! Food was great!!!
Great place. The greens are immaculate, long fairways. Challenging but really fun, lots of well placed hazards to make it interesting. Friendly and helpful staff.
A little rough...very patchy. Although closing in a few days for overseeding.
Played golf on 12/27/17. Great layout. Reasonable rate. Excellent staff from the pro shop to the cart girl. Thanks for a great day.
Excellent golf and a beautiful facility.
Plenty of grass, not dried out. Greens are good condition; some are kind of slow. Offers 7200 yards for the long. We played around 6200 yards. Good price at $50 for golf + $40 for club rental (Taylor Made).
Great course for the average player. Open fairways and good grass for July. Greens were very furry and slow. Bang em to the hole.
We actually were at the Wedgewood weddings inside the golf club, but it looks like a fine facility and good greens.
Excellent staff! Beautiful golf course! We waited for over an hour for a cab that never did show up. One of the staff, Brian took us back to our hotel. Now that is superior customer service!
Amazing value during the high season. Course was in great shape for only $51 incl cart! Teed off at 9am on a Saturday and had no waiting all day. Fairways 5/5, greens 4/5, were a bit slow rolling, bunkers 2/5, they could use a sand refill as they were mostly dry and firm (advice, dont hit it in the beach).
Great time on Sunday. Came back on Monday.Well worth the Golf Now prices. Great shape and challenging. Staff was spot on. Bev cart on course. Golf carts looked new. Will be back.
Stopped after 9 holes and 2 1/2 hours with a group playing through with no room ahead!!! Further backed up the pace. Asked for a raincheck, and after deliberation they agreed. First and last time there, unless i have 6 hours to play.
Nice course with a friendly staff. Just wish it was warmer, which was obviously out of the control of the staff.
Delayed over an hour because they didnt have carts. First tee box was 4 groups deep, it went down hill from there. Very sad experience. Didnt even finish 14 holes
Great Place to play...Good Service...Best Breakfast Sandwich in Las Vegas!!! Reasonable Rates
Fun and challenging, greens are in great shape . Staff friendly and accommodating food and drinks and bar excellent!
I was there before the Easter weekend; played 2x and rented clubs on both days. Except for the clubs I got on the first round (they were scuffed and the bag was ripped/torn on most pockets) everything went just fine and I enjoyed both rounds. Brian, the manager was very quick to respond to my email inquiries and everyone was pleasant to deal with. The course was well maintained, a few bird carcasses littered a couple of greens.I will certainly go back.
Excellent good course reasonable rates
Beautiful place with mountain view
We golf Stallion Mountain quite often and usually love it. However today we were pretty disappointed with the Marshalls not taking care of business. We called the Marshall twice for a drunk 4 some in front of us holding up 4 groups. No real action was taken.
Need sand in traps. The fairways were punched . They should discount when that happens.
