This is our only botanical garden. While it is not open during COVID-19, usually it is a nice place to visit. It has a gazebo and some benches, and many plants. I have seen quite a few people having engagement photo shoots there. The chile experimental gardens are next to it.

This small botanical garden has a good variety of local plants, and very simple labeling. I was in winter so it was sparse but in warmer times I could see it would be a nice place.

I let the secret out years ago - this little secret garden has so much to offer. Every season brings something new. Perfect backdrop for portraits. You can even rent it for events!

My husband has been homebound because of illness. The doctor recommended I take him out to a nice quiet place. My neighbor suggested this place and we loved it. We ate lunch there with some friends. It is so beautiful and peaceful. It was good for our bodies as well as our souls.

Fantastic example of sustainable development! Cant imagine where you are when you are in amongst the native trees, bushes and flowers. A lovely place to visit.

A very nice garden, or plantation, you can arrange to have any type of photo sessions there at Fabian Garcia botanical. Here in the coming months this place will be looking alive and plentiful and beautiful! I highly recommend you stop by and see the nature!

Our family loves this place! It has parking and cement benches to have lunch or a snack. The gazebo is so beautiful, and perfect for photo sessions! We had a photo session a while back too here. Entrance is free.

Its a nice little garden with tons of plants and trees. Theres a little pond off to the side and a gazebo which provides a nice view. Wish that there wasnt as much trash there, but thats not the employees fault. I blame those who cant throw trash away.

I just LOVE that beautiful place!! It might be small, but it has this almost fairy tale feel to it. We love having lunch there and take pictures of the nature it has to offer. It is also well maintained and the garden looks healthy.

Open from sunrise to sunset. Nice to walk around and see which plants will grow well in the area, how they will grow upon full maturity (size), the place is always very clean. The Chile Pepper Institute has their chile garden every season with over 150 different chile varieties to see. Great colors. In the fall they have a marigold field.

As others have noted, not getting a lot of care. The Chili Pepper Institute teaching garden is right next to it, dozens of varieties of chili peppers. I thought all chilis were capsicum annum. There are several species, e.g. capsicum chinense, bonnet peppers.

The gardens need to be weeded out, the plants better-tended, and the trash removed. With a little attention this could be a real gem for NMSU and Las Cruces.

I loved all the diffrent, beautiful plants there. Maybe you should try to make vines in the walk-in and make it even more interesting. I didnt find out about that place till about 11 years. Make it stand out. Make it a place that people talk about!
