Its a really pretty park and very nice views, the only thing I dont like is the fact that there is a gun range literally right next door and so you constantly hear gunshots!!! So... Not really serene in terms of the sound. Really an oxymoron to have a gun range right next door!

Nice park situated along the Grand River. Park is listed as 26 acres but seems a little larger due to being situated next to the Capital Area Sportsmen League. The two areas are separated by a thin wire link fence and are clearly separated. The park has many (borderline too many) picnic spots (I think about 7) along a .65 mile paved path. They are comprised of at least one picnic table, a grill, and a nice view of the river. They are either on or very near the paved path and thus could be wheel chair accessible. The paved path walks along the southern bank of the Grand River, and constitutes almost half of the loops ranging from about half a mile, three-quarters of a mile, and 1.3 mile all adding on to each other...The path is nice, but the two sides of the loops are relatively on top of each other, you can see both sides of the path for 90% of the trail. The unpaved path section is gravel and gets pretty saturated during the wetter months.Looks like they are building a canoe/kayak launch near the parking lot.Id normally have given the park a 3 star review, but its nice to have a park this close to the city. Two minutes from Horrocks.

My wife and I comes here for lunch during lunch break and close by her work. My family and I come to here for dogs walking when nice outside. Its not really peaceful quiet park because nearby gun range club place. Paved from start to end, other half is stones like trail back to start point and I loved it walk in the shades because a lot of trees and along the Grand River. Nice park and not bad.

Small area walk is well maintained with markers at the 3/4 mark making the walk ideal. Half asphalt path and half nature walk with portajohn and charcoal grills.

Great place to walk, be with nature and watch the river. The trails/walks are not cleared in the Winter months so be prepared. During the Winter months the Township keeps the parking lot cleared of snow. In the Spring several trail areas do become flooded over from the Grand River, but you can still enjoy the park and bypass the flooding. Fall colors areamazing, too!Several benches along the paved path to stop and rest to watch the river, birds or lil critters :)The park is dog friendly !!There is a nice paved trail from Delta Mills Park to Hunters. There is a porta-potty for public use. The park is next to a gun range, so you may (occasionally) hear gun fire.Happy walking and stay safe!

Decent walk and well cared for. Bugs and mud were minimal inspite of wet weather. DO NOT STRAY from the maintained paths as there is Giant Hogweed just off the path. This is a dangerous plant that can cause 3rd degree burns.

Quiet, a bit secluded, but not far off the beaten path at all. New improvements offer more to see. Only complaint as dog owner they never seem to stock the poop bag station

A cool little spot where boats gather in shallow water. Sometimes its a little too rowdy for kids so when the kiddos are with you maybe do a slow float by first to make sure adults arent having too much fun. Its a great spot to get out of the boat and chill on the sand bar.

Great place to walk with your dog. Canoe landing, picnic tables, BBQ grills along the trail. Three loop options. Half mile paved. The rest natural. All alongside the beautiful Grand River.

This park contains a very scenic 1.3 mile loop trail, featuring benches, picnic tables, and cooking grills, with half of the trail adjacent to the Grand River. I deducted 1 star from my rating due to the trails proximity to a shooting range which disturbed the peace and quiet.

There is a good walking path along the Grand River. There is a 1.3 mile loop with about half paved and half gravel. There are some picnic tables but no other amenities.

Super quiet park. Nice trail next to the river. The name didnt come up on Google maps, I was actually routing someplace else and saw the sign as I was driving by. Also looks to be the trailhead for 45 mile trailhead according to a sign by the river. Nice for a walk or run with the dogs if you are in the area

Memories of walking my dog through this quiet park, with its smooth paved path. Views of the river are spectacular as well. Parts can flood when the river rises and host mosquitoes...but those are just mother nature’s minor inconveniences.

Beautiful place for a walk. Saw lots of different birds including Rose Breasted Grosbeak, Baltimore Oriole, Eastern Wood Pewee, Tuffted Titmouse, Red Billied Woodpecker, Goldfinch, Song Sparrow, Bluejay, Cardinal, and Robin. Also saw squirrels and chipmunks. The only downside of this park is that it is right next to a gun range so you hear lots of gunfire.

Beautiful views of the river, great trails. Lots of trash cans so there isnt a little problem. Outhouse available. Its very close to a Sportsmans club so if you have any problems with loud noises (gun shots) you might want to skip this park.

Nice little hidden park thats great for dog walking or jogging. Just be aware of the weather, only one side of the park has a paved trail, the rest is gravel and dirt and it gets MUDDY after a rain.

Beautiful old trees and wonderful river views with bplaces to sit along the way. A hidden gem, and interesting linear park. SO much poison ivy and so many mosquitos though, so keep moving on a run or on roller blades or bicycle. Never crowded, so nice place for couples stroll ;)

Sounds like a war zone here ...it is next to a gun range where you have to hear guns like AR-15s being shot. Sometimes they stand less than 100 yards from the trail. It gets very very loud sometimes scaring dogs. I do get very nervous about this...I do not know anything about these people shooting high capacity weapons and they are shooting guns right by the trail.
