The Drags on Saturdays always do the same songs and outfits. BORING. Wheres a drag king? Or comedy queen? Or beauty queen?Seems like two old gals just not wanna lose the spot they have. Bar manager is rude too always screaming at people. Also this place use to have way more male dancers? What happened. Very cool decorations though. Bathrooms are gross.

One of my favorite bars in the state. I’ve had multiple events here. While I do wish they had a dressing room performance this place is unbeatable

This bar is by far one of the least safe locations i have even attempted to drink at. I spent 4 years in the Marine corps and have seen 7 different 3rd world countries and I feel more unsafe drinking at this location then all 7 of those countries combined.My issues are as follows:- The bathroom consistently has patrons attempting to look at your genitalia while using the urinals, there are no privacy walls.- On my second time visiting this location i had an individual, slip drugs into my drink and i spent the next week recovering.- I have had a wallet, phone, and hat stole while attempting to dance, the hat was given to me by the wife of my best friend who died in Afghanistan.- I have been grabbed and groped by multiple patrons, even after conveying that my personal space was being infringed on.In conclusion, do not go to this location unless you are sober and can keep an eye on every patron near you.

Whats not to love?! Lansing own dedicated gay club. Not a gay night one night a week...no, instead, every night this place is open, Spiral caters to the LGBTQ+ community. Absolutely everyone is welcome, of course, but this place serves as a safe haven for those who might feel uncomfortable being themselves in the average club. Being an 18 and up club, those who arent sure of themselves yet, and even those lucky ones who are at such a young age, can feel safe here...they can come here and feel welcome and be themselves.

Easy going club atmosphere. Its small enough you can meet the entire staff :-) the manager even mingles. Its slowing down from what it used to be in years past but its still a pretty chill bar with great bartenders if nothing else. If theres an event going on in old town its busier :-)To update: a lot of investment has gone into the facility and Under New Management it is shifting gears and having fun events! Pride in June is a great time to go!

This is Lansings #1 night club awesome place to dance great drinks awesome people. The staff is top notch. Spiral is a Gay club that welcomes everyone as if they were family. Definitely a must stop if you are in Lansing trying to experience the night life. The sound system will blow u away.

Friendly atmosphere good drinks at reasonable price. Loads of entertainment. Better than any bar I been to. Dont let the bisexuals or gays scare you! They are respectful and dont invade your space not to mention great conversation. Glad my wife talked me into going 3 years ago. Wouldnt of believed it if I hadnt gone. Straights go too and lots of eye candy for everyone. Not for shallow minded folks.

I was Assaulted by the manager for not having a wristband. My first time there she just grabbed me and refused to let me go. I will never go there again!

I go to Spiral because the bar staff is familiar with every drink known to man, their theme parties will warp you to another place or time and the sound system will knock your socks or heels off. But I LOVE Spiral because they truly value us as customers and show it in how they care for this community. They are always raising money or donating their time for a cause. They create a safe haven, a comfortable place to be yourself, or find yourself.I like to support a company that gives back!

Its the only place i go to dance in lansing/east lansing. Almost always have a good time. Security is good. Bouncers ate always on top of everything. I feel safe enough to go there solo too.

This is my local club that I watch my partner do Karaoke with on Thursday nights. Bar staff is great, I never have any problems with my drinks. They have very accessible seating for all body types. Clean bathrooms, never lacking for toilet paper.I really like their outdoor fire pit when weather permits it to be used. I dont do EDM (electronic dance music) but people do seem to like it. A++ will visit again.

I went there few time. I wont say its my favorite place to go. Because every time I went there. People are rude. For example. One day, I sit at table alone wait for friend arrive. Some group arrived. they just grab shovel me off chair and take over table and chair. I was supposed to hold it for friend of mine. I told staff about it. They just oh well and do nothing about it.

Im from Tulsa and I visited on a Friday night. Enjoyed myself, even tho I didnt know anyone, I met lots of people that night. Great crowd. Awesome bartenders.

Had a wonderful tme. Spent a few hours there. Met some super cool people! Music was great, and very diverse. I couldnt believe the third song I herd was Die Antwoord!!! I love that group! Everyone that works there was on top of their game and was very helpful and respectful! The only downfall for me (being a straight guy) was there was a little to much male in under ware shaking thier butt. All in all it was a great experience though! I will definitely go back!

The worst place to go for anything entertaining. If you want to drink yourself to a snore, this is your place. No energy, not a good crowd, and a small place.

The only gay dance club in town. I have been to Club Necto in Ann Arbor and Spirals Dance Club is much better than Necto!

This bat is strickly racist. Let me explain. I went there one night. I was having fun dancing one night and out of nowhere came this man. Lets just call him robert zimmerman asked what i was doing. I told him i was dancing. He continued to harrass me which of course led me to be thrown out. Not only this bar but the one around the corner. So no i wouldnt visit this bar ever again thanks to the wonderful racist people in lansing.

Michigan has a alot of homophobic people so spiral has a very rich sub culture and has the best dance floor in lansing.
