Such an amazing place to go if you love live music, great drinks, and affordable food that will make you want to sing! Amazing service that I left a 52% tip. $48 bill and a $25 tip. They had me energetic and motivated to perform that night with all of that luxurious food.

We wandered in off the street one night to find ourselves watching incredibly talented blues musicians from Detroit inside this gorgeous venue. The drinks were super tasty. The energy was super chill. This place completely elevates Lansing s night life.

Saw Larry McCray, my favorite Blues man. Ive been to the Urban Beat several times. It is an event space, rented out with choices offered by the renter. All the times Ive been there, there has been a self-serve cash bar, and a very limited menu of finger food. Excellent service - very friendly and efficient.

We have been here for several events, and have had a great time EVERY time. Weve been able to chat with the owners as well, and they are very kind and cool. They offer many amenities and options for events, and the location in Old Town is ideal!

This is an incredible venue in the heart of Lansings Old Town District. Jazz Thursdays are a must, and a recent concert by Bill Hot Rod Lincoln Kirchen was amazing. (Photo below). A definite must stop hot spot in Lansing. Great bar staff too. Super friendly.

A nice little bar with fun events and often live music from local bands. Drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. Staff is young but chipper and capable. The queso is also pretty solid, unless you let it get cold - then its literally solid.

Attended a wedding reception here with 140 guests. The staff really knows how to cater an event. Everything was well coordinated. They have a small bar with soft drinks and adult beverages. Good Audio/Visual hook ups.For non-reserved events, they have a regular weekly music lineup. Tuesdays is Blues, Thursday jazz, and Friday salsa. A great addition to Old Town. Nice venue to grab a bottle of wine and listen to live music.

This place definitely has a vibe. Different concerts take place every week and I like relaxed and friendly atmosphere of this place.

Very small, definitely not great for parties of 80+. Bar variety was very limited and only one restroom. Convenient and easy location, close to hotels, other bars.
