This place is AWESOME! Everyone there is super nice and knowledgeable, and they have a really great variety of beautiful saltwater animals. Their coral and anenome beds are particularly cool. Great place to fulfill saltwater needs. Will definitely be going back for things in the future!

Hands down some of the best customer service! Not only from the owner but down to every employee that Ive come in contact with. Ordered a red sea tank and installation from jeff and his team. Very professional quick and easy installation, answers every question I ask even to this day. This is definitely my go to local fish store since my day 1 journey of this hobby. Great selection of fish and corals. Top notch! Would absolutely recommend Jeff and his store. 10/10.

I have purchased three fish from this place the first one being a beta fish. This fish was from a group of betas that supposedly were all put into the same tank at one time and only a few survived. I guess the owner didn’t have tanks ready for them to go into so they felt it was a good idea to put them all together at once. Well since our betta has been doing really great we thought we’d give this place a second chance. We then set up 125 gallon saltwater aquarium and a few months later purchased a damsel fish and a cardinal fish from this store. The owner had just received a new shipment that day and made a point to let us know that the damselfish that we purchased was not from this new stock. We wanted to make sure that our fish had been quarantined long enough before you put them into our tank with our other fish. The fish died before he even made it into our tank. We set up a drip system and slowly introduced our water but he seemed stressed before he even got into the tank. I’m assuming this happens and I only wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. We have excellent water quality and we did all the right precautions to make sure that he was introduced well. So I called the store owner to let them know just in case there was something wrong with the rest of the fish and the his concerns seemed minimal. There was also no offer of a discount on future fish or a replacement fish. I do understand that the contract says no refunds on any fish but it was very disappointing to have one die before even placing it into the tank. Therefore I have decided not to come back to the store because I’m unsure of the professionalism and knowledge that the employees might have here

Incredibly knowledgeable and attentive staff. We live on the opposite side of town, but will go out of our way to come here when we need new fish, plants or invertebrates. Reasonably priced and offers rewards for repeat customers. Number one fish store in the Denver area.

Great experience always since I started reefing I’ve order a Red Sea reefer 350 from them and they have answered all my questions to this day and even today to my surprise I got an amazing deal on a leather courtesy of Owen he’s super nice and knowledgeable and will definitely be doing more business with them in the future ! Easily my go to local lfs happy reefing!

They have a small freshwater selection, but the fish are always healthy and vibrant. They hire nice staff as well. Their hours of operation are not reasonable for anyone with a day job. They are open about 4-5 hours a day in the middle of the day. I don’t understand how the doors have remained opened through the pandemic with such small window of business.

My favorite aquarium/fish store. I’ve been doing business here for at least 5 years. The stock on frozen food is always good. They have a decent selection of live stock from invertebrates to corals. Crystal the manager is great and very knowledgeable

Brought in a fish that they would have turned around and sold for $85-100. Young lady who was the acting manager was rude upon entry. Asked to speak with Jed regarding a store credit being that since moving to the area Ive easily spent $400 at the store within a few months. Even called back myself to leave a message for a return call and nothing. Ill spend my money elsewhere as the customer support is a joke.

Had a bad experience the first visit, a great experience the 2nd visit. The 3rd visit the customer service was great but the fish I brought home have ich. Brand new tank, brand new gear, cycled with some guppies Ive had for at least a month. Im 90% sure its not my ich, and now Im staining my silicone with ich treatment. Not happy.

I would recommend this shop to anyone in the hobby, they have a beautiful selection of corals, inverts, saltwater and freshwater fish, as well as a knowledgeable and attentive staff that can answer any questions or concerns you may have. Their store is clean, and the layout makes it easy to find what I need! They usually have everything Im looking for (and some stuff I didnt even KNOW I needed), but Ive been told that if you dont see what youre looking for that they will do their best try and order it. They really adapt to their customers needs and an experience like that in a store is really few and far between nowadays. I dont usually write reviews but I thought this place really deserved it!!!

Love visiting here, wish I had more room for some of the gorgeous salt water tanks they have. Today we were after plants a decor for a freshwater shrimp tank. Salesperson was super helpful, lots of recommendations and advice. Cant wait to get the plants in place and will patiently wait until the tank cycles so I can get some shrimp!

My dad has a large aquarium and he gets 90% of his fish and supplies at Aquamart! The staff is friendly and the fish and all else we have bought from here have all been healthy. We always check Aquamart before going anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Good livestock and great service. The manager, owner and employees all take time to ask me how my tank is doing and will take the time to test water and answer questions. This place has cleaner tanks and receives new livestock more frequently than any other store in the Denver area.

Fish and Coral selection here is great, definitely on the pricier side compared to other stores, stopped in for a random flow generator today, an employee swore it would work, unfortunately that wasnt the case and it turned out to be a profit over customer situation, so Im out $30. There are multiple stores worth going to over Aquamart.

I love aquamart! I went there one day to see all of the fish and I found one fish that I really liked, he was a dogfish puffer. I wanted to see him again so I went there and he was sick, but they take very good care of there fish. I called to ask how the dogfish puffer was and the person that answered knew which fish I was talking about right away. I think they take very good care of thier fish.

Amazing fish store!

This place is amazing. They have super friendly and knowledgeable staff who took an exceptional amount of time to walk me through some questions that I had.The store has a great selection and all the livestock (mostly marine with some freshwater) look very healthy and taken care of.The tanks looked clean and well maintained. Their display tanks in the front are some of the most impressive that Ive ever seen.

I came in here on 12/15. It was my first and only time. I originally came in for some algae control. I have a 10 gallon betta tank but my house is very bright from outside light and I’m trying to find a good place so it doesn’t grow so much algae.The guy there was very friendly which is why there’s 2 stars but they didn’t have algae control. He talked me into algae eaters because I didn’t wanna come back in 4 days from vacation to a tank full of algae again. And I had thought about getting some anyway. So I got 3. Next thing I know my betta has ick. I’m super disappointed. Not sure I’ll be coming back here. Hopefully they fix the issue.

This is the best fish store Ive ever been to regarding care of its fish. Betta fish are kept in individual 2-3 gallon heated tanks with their own filtration, this is the best store treatment of Bettas Ive ever seen. They have healthy, beautiful fish in stock and know what theyre talking about. Prices are great especially on medication for fish, they have good supplies and a lot of space to explore the stock. I most definitely will be back.

Small but beautiful coral selection.

Walked in to Aquamart after 10 years of being out of the hobby with a ton of refresher questions! They all were so friendly and helpful, and my nerves of getting back into the hobby went away. They set me up with the sand, rocks, and water I needed to get my new tank cycling! Looking forward to many more visits in the future as I stock and maintain my tank!

Have not been here yet, my review is based on the Facebook site and the website. It looks like this place only sells saltwater materials & saltwater life. I have yet to see a post or photo of freshwater fish. I live in Colorado Springs and would hate to drive over an hour to find out this is only a saltwater store. If Aquamart is both saltwater & freshwater based, they sure do not market to freshwater customers.

Weve had a well established, healthy fresh water tank for more than 2 years now when our pleco died. We came in and were very happy with the selection and apparent cleanliness. Came home with a bushynose pleco and a super yellow shrimp, and now a week later, we have ick. Very disappointed. Hopefully we can treat and we dont lose all our babies!** Update: lost 2, previously healthy, neons :(**

Lovely place, knowledgeable. The only problem I have is I asked to purchase a female betta and the gentlemen told me a employee purchased it already. Why have it on display for the public. They couldnt really answer my question about kanaplex. If it does in fact treat your plants, or if it just keeps the fish immune system strong to prevent getting sick. But I dont expect them to know everything. They have beautiful creative, healthy displays.

I purchased a fish at the price it was marked for, but couldnt take it home that Thursday evening because I was on my way to work. When I returned on Sunday like we had discussed, I was told the fish was no longer $99, but was now $229. They tried to then sell me the fish for $189, then $170 to try to make up for their mistake. I then asked for my money back. I had been a loyal customer for many years, even though they were a little over priced. I will never step foot in that store again.

Been in this hobby for 53 years from goldfish to discus to corals, worked for Ángel aquarium in The 70s, sold baby angel fish to tropic seas in The 80s, seen them come and go ... aqua mart is 5 Star all The way .. fair prices, clean store, staff is helpful and smart ...well worth The drive .. The 3 massive display tanks as you enter say it all ....go, go, go and judfe for yourself .. .im very impressed . .

The staff is knowledgeable and wonderful to talk to. They have never let me down when I have issues. They know exactly what most tanks need and are willing to do special requests.

Nice selection of fish, decent prices. Just picked up a nice pistol shrimp and goby pair as well as a beautiful warpaint clown goby. Tanks were well maintained. We will still do a quarantine as we do with every fish and invert just to be sure all are healthy. Far from home, but will definitely be returning.

I drive 40 min out of my way to shop here.. I love the staff. They know their saltwater! Amazing selections when it comes to fish and coral. They have the equipment I expect to see as a reefer. Staff goes out of their way to help customers and I feel very comfortable asking for Advice on how and where to place coral or match fish.

Noticed this store has made a lot of great changes lately. More corals then ever and new displays. Quickly becoming one of my favorite stores in Denver. I live downtown so there arent too many stores right in my area, but so far its been worth the few extra miles to go here. Highly recommend this store to anyone in the hobby.

Good coral selection but I am wary of the fish bc even though they claim they quarantine, several seemed to be up for sale immediately. High prices compared to other local fish stores. Chris, seen in my photo- was knowledgeable and helpful.Nice displays for anyone wanting a visit to the aquarium without the ticket price.

I went in the other day, after a long drive to get there and walked around several times and nobody would ask me if I needed help! Yes, they may have been busy with other customers but after many times walking around the place and a grip of cash on me I realized they do not care. So I left. Then I realized, after shopping around and online they are double the price at least on pretty much everything. So if you want to waste your money and time go for it. Then go to Fish Den and get treated like a true customer or Amazon if you know what you want.

Great saltwater store. All the employees are super attentive and make sure that you get all your questions answered. Thier display tanks are phenomenal, and healthy as can be. Fish are healthy. Coral selection is the BEST. Not kidding, Ive been to several stores searching for coral to start up a tank, and this place has the healthiest coral along with the largest selection and great prices. Their acans are pure eye candy. If anything, go check them out. Its so easy to kill an hour just being mesmerized by the coral.
