Despite the history associated with the building, the atmosphere reminds me of my home state of California (certain parts that is). Great place to find cheap streetwear, custom stickers/shirts, sportswear, mexican/latin food and goods, etc.

Great for mastalgia sake but its not what it once was for sure...

New phone store inside now, make life a little easier now

They have plenty of entertaining games to keep young & old happily occupied!

I use to like coming here, but over the years its gone done hill ....its more empty spaces then anything and the arcade sucks no there game selection has gone down as well...

Still the ghetto place I know and love I grew up here so Im used to how it is and enjoy my childhood the arcade has new owners again and have more updated games

I grew up in Tacoma and B&I held a soft spot in my obsidian heart. I recall in my youth when I spend hours watching and playing tic-tac-toe with the chicken next to Ivan the gorilla. Good times - good times. Now B&I look like some rundown ghetto shanty town. It smells as bad as it looks and everything feels sticky. I think I used a full bottle of hand sanitizer during my last visit. I would give this place a 1 star but something in the back of my mind made me give it 2 stars. Anyways, if you are about to travel to a third world country or disaster site and want to acclimate yourself, come and spend some time in B&I.

Decent place to find urban wear and cultural clothes

I love this place because they are always so good to my son. The store manager remembered he has serious food allergies and stocked special candy just for him on a day she knew we would be in. We will keep coming back for years to come.

Love this place, cheap way to spend the afternoon with the kiddos.
