Higher end RV resort which I had expected. Nice wide space sites. But giving it 3 stars because I expect what I pay for. There is hardly any wifi. Very complicated to get a signal and you are only allowed to have wifi for 2 hours per 24 hours. This is ridiculous! If we are expected to have a newer RV and pay higher amount for the stay. I expect the same in return.

This resort is beautiful, the location is wonderful and the staff is professional. Under any other circumstances, they would rate 5 stars from almost everybody . . . Including me.Unfortunately their Customer Service is not even close to the standards of the physical facilities. We have been staying at The Islander twice a year for about 4 years. We made our reservations at the end of December each year for the following year and also for 10 days in January.It was never a problem even though they did not let us know for sure until pretty late each year. So, it wasn’t a problem until I realized on October 1 of this year they had not called. So, I called them and was totally unprepared for their answer.“Somebody” changed their policy. Instead of processing requests more or less in the order that they were received, the new policy was that the requests for 5 month reservations would be processed first, those for four months next, etc. Now to be fair, it is private property and they have the absolute right to make any changes that they want whenever they want. No argument.What they did, however, was totally IGNORE anyone who would not make the cut. Nobody that I can find was ever told about the policy change. When I spoke to the staff, they already knew that even a lot of the 4 month requests would not be filled and that they would never get down to the 3 month or 2 month or single month requests.They didn’t find that out on October 1st. They obviously knew about it long before, but didn’t think that any of us who didn’t meet their new standards were worth the effort of communicating this “slight” change in policy.Getting convenient space in Lake Havasu is never easy, but starting on October 1st is pretty much impossible . . . as I have found out.I wonder how many families are now finding out that their Winter plans were just canceled?Management, such as it is, obviously doesn’t worry about the “little people”. I didn’t even get an “I’m sorry” out of this. Like a number of other reviews I have seen here, I am taking my business and my money elsewhere. They obviously don’t need it at The Islander. Oh, and those nice little expensive homes on the lakeshore . . . they won’t be selling one of those to me either.

We love this resort! Everything about it was beautiful. Clean, close to restaurants, great pool, awesome RV sites, some with a view. Plenty to do.

Really enjoyed the wedding we went to there. The reception room was large plenty of room for everyone. The food came from the Boat House Grill was excellent.

If youre looking for a very clean, and convenient RV Park, this is it. It is also a great place if youd like to encounter the epitome of an unbelievably rude, power-tripping group of people. Their management makes the Addams Family seem friendly and inviting. As previous customers of over ten years here, we have taken our business and most importantly to them, our money, elsewhere. Look at many of their other reviews, we are definitely not alone with this experience.

We love the Islander Resort!Been going there for 7 yrs. Sadly this is our last year. We bought an awesome home. We still have all of our AWESOME friends there!Thank you Rick,Bart and all the Staff for making Islander Resort the beautiful place it is.

Definitely the finest RV resort I have ever stayed at, everything is exceptionally clean and spacious, and very quiet for a very large RV park, Its worth the extra money to have a beautiful view of Lake Havasu, They have endless activities so youll never be bored. Also found it very unusual to see a beaver right outside my door.

I suggest looking elsewhere for a rv resort in Lake Havasu. The employees are rude and not helpful. There is 0 customer service- even the manager. I had to check out a day early for an emergency and they would not refund me for the day that I had already prepaid. THEY DO NOT REMIND YOU THAT YOU WILL PAY REGARDLESS IF YOU CHECK OUT EARLY- EVEN IN AN EMERGENCY. It states that clearly in their contract when you first booked- so remember this policy. I apparently did not. They are were not accommodating whatsoever. It was more a strict business rather than a chill, vacation rv resort. Good RV resorts have friendly people that for certain situations will be accommodating, understanding and sympathetic. Not this one!!! IF YOU BOOK- MAKE SURE YOUR DATES ARE IN 100% LOCKED IN AND DONT HAVE AN EMERGENCY- they show no mercy.

We stayed in a 1 bdrm 1 bath mobile home. It was clean and upgraded. We enjoyed our stay. Nice amenities.

This is a small venue and the seating area is flat so the chance is low of being unable to see unobstructed. The band selection is good and there are restrooms on site but no concessions are provided.

Staff were very professional and very helpful. Answered all our questions and helped us make reservations for a future date !!Very clean. Lots to do. Pleasantly surprised.I highly recommend this place for RV nights

Its right on the island at lake havasu city. Lake launch ramps. Swimming areas. Large pool.

The interior is very nicely done, beautiful ambiance, inside and outside. When we went, they were very busy, maybe a little under staffed. The food was okay but my mocha frappe was very good. My fish flour tortillas were good, full of veggie, but the protein wasn’t enough. The crispy wonton tacos were beautiful on plates but weren’t practical. It was difficult to eat, you have to break the wonton shell before you eat it. I wish there were more protein in both the tacos and not just cabbage and mayo.

Great place to stay.Big place but comfortable.Stayed in 468 right above the Lake and the perfect view to watch boats come in and out . Also perfect little place to take kids to play in the sand and swim with shade nearby our site.Friendly Rv ers and employees were knowledgeable and nice. The resort was very busy for this time of the year but it didnt seem like it to us.We very much enjoyed our stay.The facilities were clean and the pool was nice with seating areas that were comfortable.The laundry room was clean and the machines were clean, they have separate machines for pets bedding. Make sure u have cash or quarters as their is not an atm on site. The main office has quarters and will give change but cant do cash back.This part can probably be updated for convenience of everyone. The employees are busy and shouldnt have to fuss with laundry facilities .Also the boat launch here is really nice and they have designated swimming area .Very family friendly.Will come back here again.

Ive stayed at several RV resorts and this one is excellent! We stayed on a Lakeview site which was big enough to accommodate a motorhome, truck and boat with trailer. They have their own boat ramp and marina. They are dog friendly as well. They have a laundromat, games, a convenience store and their pool was heated! Everything was clean. I did not see trash or animal feces anywhere...immaculate! It is a little on the pricey side but it is worth it. If you dont have an RV, they rent out bungalows. Highly recommend!

I stayed at the resort on the peninsula for several days. I found the staff to be curt and rude and not family oriented. Security staff Bart was the worst. I reported loud music at 2 AM. Bart came at 9 the next morning and threatens to have me and my family removed. We saved him the trouble and stayed the rest of time at the Sams Beachcomber. They were way more respectful. I would not recommend staying here.

The staff in the office / store lack manners. The overall feel to the resort is very stuck-up, and not what you would typically expect from Lake Havasu.

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it. Very quaint and beautiful spot. The location is terrific and is right across the London Bridge and is lakefront. The sites are large and well kept. The grounds are nicely landscaped and easy to maneuver. We enjoyed the pool and nature walk.Very nice for a relaxing getaway

This place is already nice but it is alway being upgraded to be even nicer. The best part is the high standards at this vacation destination. You don’t have to worry about the riff raff because it isn’t tolerated. It is safe, clean, everyone is friendly, willing to help, and everyone is genuinely out and about having a great time. Thank you to Rick and the rest of the team for creating such a magical place. All the hard work shows and people continue coming here for years and years to come!

Its one of the best vacation places we have ever been

Debbie that works in the office is rude and condescending and Banned Me From The Islander Resort because I showed up with two big and nice of a boat for them. I have been staying there for years before she started without incident I like the park its clean quiet and thats why I went there I would definitely go back after they fire Debbie

Very nice RV resort but it is building more and more models so almost impossible to book a site.

This is an excellent example of how great an RV resort can be. The staff is friendly and professional. It is well maintained by folks who obviously care about their product. The only thing that is a bit sad is the addition of park home/condos where many of the RV spots were.

The ONLY place we stay when in Havasu, the staff has always been courteous and friendly.

We love the Islander. We set up our RV there for the summer. Right in the heart of the city and we have a great view of the lake. The oool area is clean and fun. The people who work there are friendly and helpful.

I love it here. Very clean park. Noise level kept low. You are on the water. Clean bathrooms and showers. Warm Jacuzzi and clean pool. Great security guards.

Stayed there for 15 years, skipping a few. Staff always friendly and helpful. Continually upgrading as it Is one of a kind being able to have your Motorhome steps away from your Boat and wonderful beach

My Heavens! We have stayed on the Point for many years and still consider it one of our favorite spots. The staff is always helpful and the grounds are beautiful. Brand new white sand in the Cove. I will always recommend this paradise for r.v.s and boaters.

Great RV park! The staff was great and friendly, and the amenities were very nice. Our only complaint was the very clean and nice showers, some of the water would run out of the stall to the drains in the middle of the room instead of the drain under the shower...which meant it ran through the little changing area just outside the shower. So you are standing in a little water as you try to get dressed after showering. Not something they can fix without a remodel, and that really is the only thing we can complain about. Not even an issue if the water heater in your RV is working though, ours wasnt so we had to. Great views, staff, amenities, and even very friendly neighbors. We highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back!

First class park right on the water. We put ourselves on a waitlist for next winter. This winter is full. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Very clean facilities.

Friendly staff, very large spaces. A surprisingly large number of permanent manufactured homes - and more being built. Still a lot of transient spaces, though.

Our summer get away we enjoy every minute of it...

Nice place, we spent two days there on a water front place. Showers are very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Top notch staff, facilities, and neighborly culture. Lake viewing RV pad with walk down to gravel beach and cool Lake Havasu water a nice reprieve from oppressive Glendale Arizona heat. Take your family here!!!

Had beach front parking with motorhome with full hookups. Had a great ttime. Everyone was very friendly.

Only just started the season but all OK gonna get better

We stayed in a Lakeview site for several nights which was beautiful but pricey at $100+ a night including fees and taxes. This is not a dog friendly RV park as there is only one small dog pen, a long walk from most RV sites. The dog pen was not clean.

VERY clean and well-maintained, courteous and helpful staff. We were fortunate to have one of the premier spaces right on the water and couldnt have been happier. Definitely will stay here again if visiting Lake Havasu.

Very well maintained, but very strict and not that family friendly. A bit rude checking in. Just not very inviting, the staff make you feel like its a privilege youre here, not warm and welcoming.

Wont Be back. Terrible service. The cost of the sites is not worth what the park has to offer. Terrible views with not much for lake access unless you would like to rock climb or scale the cliff down to the lake. There are other camp grounds not far away with much better views and lake access. Has A city feel to the park. Not a family orientated park. We moved out when we were told your campers are to close and would have to move over 2 feet due to fire codes. The RVs were 12 feet apart.

Staff and manager made little to no effort in helping find a boat stolen off of their grounds. This business sadly only cares about making money and not doing the right thing. They also claim to have 24 hours security at the front enteracne but witnessed the stand empty on more than one occasion. So much for being a safe place!
