This location is awesome! They do a lovely, well maintained buffet. They have the mix your own drink stations for soft drinks. Their salad bar is nicely stocked. The dining room is clean and well-kept. Best of all, the arcade is awesome!

I am visiting Lake Charles but Mr. Gattis Pizza is one of those places I always go back to. The quality of the pizza is always the best & you can depend on that. Today I had a carry out order. When I came through the drive thru everything was ready. To me that service is important. The only glitch had nothing to do with Mr. Gattis Pizza. There is construction, with lane closures. So you have to be aware. Especially if you are driving at night, in rainy conditions.

Always consistent with their delicious pizza. They have a self serve bar during lunch, not sure about dinner. Weve been going there for decades and its always good. Great place for kids to go and great for birthday parties.

I was broken hearted when they closed the two Mr Gattis in Beaumont, Tx years ago. It has always been my favorite. They have a Sampler which is so covered with everything that, to me, cant be beaten. So, whenever I get near a Mr Gattis in Lake Charles or Sulphur, La, I will always come home with a Mr Gattis Sampler.

The veggie pizza here is good and the staff is decent, sorry I couldnt rate higher but some of the workers that I encountered were super stuck up and a bit disrespectful, Im glad I found a person who would take my request, he was super nice and helpful but the others werent a help at all. Im vegetarian and the most I can eat here is the cheese pizza and the veggie also the macaroni and cheese and none were on the Buffet until I asked but all and all decent food.

If the variety on the buffet were as good as the game room it would be great. Ok pizza nice workers

So this is how I feel about Gattis. We went for lunch buffet and my wife said that they didnt have a big selection. This was my response I would rather have 5 pizzas on a buffet that are fantastic than 15 pizzas on a buffet that are just ok. Gattis pizza is just good from the pizza crust to the toppings so keep on banging out 5 fantastic pizzas at a time thats cool with me.

Just had the best experience here! We placed an order To-Go and it got lost in the system and the man at the window who helped us resolve the issue behaved professionally! We are seriously impressed. When it comes to orders sh** can happen especially if several people are working the window. Obvi soupy it was a small hiccup and we were treated well and the issue was resolved in minutes!

Its the best pizza buffet in town always hot and fresh and if they dont have what you want theyll make it to order.

Clean. Hot pizzas on the buffet. Reasonable prices. You can even request 1 pizza of your choice be made. Also, spaghetti, mac & cheese, & a full salad bar. Id recommend this place. Friendly staff, too!

Not sure what they put in their pizza. I’ve eaten at 5 different pizza places in lake Charles just fine with no issues and this is the only one where I have gotten sick for days after. Ordered a cheese pizza and cheese sticks from waitr. Food tasted good but after a few hours was really sick after eating it and the next day was really sick as well. This didn’t just happen once this happened twice when I ordered from there so I know it wasn’t just a stomach bug.

Heeeey this place is like my mazzios back in my town. Got a smaller buffet though and the pizza looks good. Have a like single public game room for kids. (like its small as a closet) and I think the bathrooms was all right. I think this place would do great for a nice meal.

Buffet has a nice selection of pizza, dessert pizza as well as salad bar and pastas, we visited as they were opening so everything was fresh. The kids play area was nice with a good selection of games and prizes to choose from. My child chose this for her birthday dinner and we had about 5 people and had brought her a small birthday cupcake. When we entered with it the girl at the counter told us no cakes and even after asking and telling her it was just a small cupcake for only her she said you have to pay for the party room if you want a cake you cant bring that in here. She was not nice about it at all and we were really put off by that, would not choose to visit this location again when there are many other places more welcoming.

Go here anout once a month with my daughter. Pizza is always fresh and delicious. Game room is fun but i think the toys should be a little less points wise.

They need a larger selection and ask customers what would they like to see cooked or baked

Had a large sunday school visitafter church. With no call ahead they made seating for 18? Of us. Pizza was hot and tasty! The owner loves what he does and was polite to staff and customers.

Love it. Maybe new management. The owner was out on the floor running the show very well. Food was fresh and tables stayed clean and available.

Food was good. Was disappointed that so many of the games werent working. Card readers broken or their displays corrupted, various machines not in service or stocked, the ball toss game showing Motor Error and not releasing the balls. My daughter still had a good time, but it was an experience that makes me reluctant to return.

I think it could have been better. The bus boy Nick was telling guest how a table let two kids mess up a table and, didnt leave him a tip. The pizzas looked dried out. But, the workers were nice. I think they shouldnt charge 7.99.

Typical Gattis buffet, and not much else. The sandwiches have always been pretty good, if thats what youre in to. It way overpriced. The only reason we frequent the establishment is the fact my life insurance provider hosts a monthly deal where you can feed your family for $5 a piece, drink included. If not for that Id probably never set foot in there.

Wife, 2 year old daughter, and myself all went one day after work. As usual, we were greeted by a polite employee promptly. Found our seats and had a high chair conveniently located for us to get. Food was good and buffet was kept full. Place had about 30%-40% of tables filled as it was only 5pm when we went. Environment was clean. Bus boy was polite as well taking up trays and plates as we were done while cleaning up floor within the place. Always a good experience and employees are always polite.

I dont care for there pizza but there overall buffet and set up is unique... they have pizza, pastas,desserts and salad on the buffet and also have an arcade for the kids.

The woman who seemed to be a manager with short hair was quite rude. Berating the employees while waiting on customers. Definitely made me not want to eat here again.

We have been coming here for years! We appreciate the cleanliness and the friendly staff. They even will make a special order pizza for you if they dont have yours on the buffet! My fav is the salad bar!!!!

Id give it a 5 star, Good Hot Pizza, dont know if it was a manager or an owner was kind of rude with some kids, But an old gentleman can out and was Very,Very, Nice. I know everyone has a bad day but never take it out on a child. Go there Its fun took me back to the 80s with the Pac Man Machine..lol

Great pizza and a lot of choices to choose from. If you dont like whats on the buffet, you can request the pizza of your choice. Gattis is a family oriented restaurant. If your looking for a place to host your kids birthday parties, Gattis would be a great choice.

Came here on veterans day and received a free pizza how awesome is that. Thank you for supporting the troops not to many places do around here. Good pizza friendly staff God bless America.

Ive had better gattis here in baton rouge but it was ok

I went here with my veteran spouse. The food was okay, but last time I went, the hospitality was horrid. I was grilled(no pun intended) by a manager for taking pictures of food.Other visits here also indicate half of employees here lack in basic manners, including smiling at customers or saying excuse me while walking in front of you.I try to give extra opportunities to straighten a problem when a business does any form of charity (such as Vet Meals or donations to good causes), so I emailed Gattis to try to resolve the issues with the managers aggressive behavior; over a week later, received no response.Not recommended if you expect courtesy.

Correct me if I’m wrong but this is supposed to be a pizza place. They serve the most horrible pizza I have ever had in my life. Dry cheese and topping thrown on cardboard, then over cooked. My kids make better pizza with tortillas. If I could give negative stars I would. It will be a breath of fresh air when this place closes down.

My familys favorite buffet pizza place. My wife loves their spaghetti and, of course, my kids love the game room. The staff always welcomes you with a smile and are always quick to get something for you. I just wish they would have the Hawaiian Pizza as a regular on the buffet.

The best Pizza Buffet in Lake Charles, Louisana. I love the food and the Employees are so nice and polite.

The buffet is nice to have a variety pizza. However, they sometimes have two or more of either the exact same thing or something really close.

Kids love this place, buffet style or can order food. Has a good arcade area and several party rooms you can reserve. Will definitely recommend to anyone else with young children.

The staff here is very unfriendly and the food bar is very small. We requested a special pizza and was told no because they needed to clear some of the old pizza off the bar before they could make anything else. Was very disappointed in this location.
