Well preserved home from the early 1800s. Unfortunately, it is sparsely furnished.

The fact that it still stands is the most interesting part. There is not yhat much to look at. The lawn is nice.

Nice small museum in the middle of Lahaina. Worth a visit if you have a half hour or so to spend. $7 price tag might be little steep, but if you plan to visit another museum on their list $10 for the multiple-museum pass is worth it. Wo Hing Museum is only a few blocks away and a visit to both is worth the $10 price.

Interesting place, tickets are good for multiple museums making them a good deal.

Great piece of Maui history. Original homestead of first missionary family complete with family furniture and photos. Something other than typical Maui tourist stop.

Jackie was amazing! My family fell in love with her! She was kind and incredibly knowledgeable. She shared so much history with us far beyond our expectations. The Baldwin house is a neat little piece of history. The items inside are pretty cool, we especially loved the plans Rev. Baldwin drew up of the home. The kids got a kick out of some of his medical tools too. The feeling inside is airy and positive. It was a delight to experience the simplicity behind such an amazing man, his family and the work he did to help Maui and the 3 other islands around it defeat smallpox. If only all the American had been so kind... I definitely recommend you take a look. You pay $7 for anyone over 12 yrs old and you get to tour 2 museums. There are more as well to check out if you wanna get a full tour for another price. Next year and every year after I look forward to visiting Jackie at the Baldwin house again. Mahalo!

Nice little house museum. The lady who greeted us was welcoming. Id like to have learned more about the buildings contents. Well kept building and a nice break from touristy shopping.

Love the museum. Historical Maui. The gift shop is a great place to buy local artist made gifts and cards.

We love to visit the Baldwin House Museum on the last Thursday of the month for their Hawaiin Music Series on the front lawn. Have an early dinner, then catch the music at 6 PM and shop afterwards!

The woman who gave us a tour was so knowledgeable and welcoming, we really enjoyed our visit!

Interesting place... we always like these little historical places.

Great place to stop in and check out some local history. Get a passbook and it will give you access to 5 museums for $10, not a bad deal. There are always guides willing to answer any questions you may have. Great place to just sit on the grass and people watch.

We went for an free evening concert the the museum was putting on. The music was excellent Hawaiian cant go wrong.

The oldest standing building on Maui.Its pretty neat. I highly recommend if youre into history. The staff is very knowledgeable.

Interesting piece of Maui history but only the first floor is open to the public. Tickets here will also get you in to the Wo Hing museum down the street. Definitely ask for the tour as the house is not labeled in detail.

Interesting artifacts from the 18th century, a blast from the past. Greg was rediculously knowledgable and helpful. I would recommend this place to a friend.

A very small museum, nicely preserved with some good artifacts in it. Did the night tour, with candlelight was a good experience, with a cool atmosphere and knowledgeable staff.

Most interesting and educational!

Small historic museum. Frequent free Hawaiian music concerts in evening on the lawn outside the museum (I think every Thursday 6-8pm, but check their website for the schedule).
