Always a great occasion when I visit Harte Gallery in Maui each February. Marta and I had a great time viewing Sir Anthony Hopkins works of art. We did purchase. It was fantastic gathering at the Four Seasons in Las Vegas. Alex was a great host and it was great to see Devon. Tony and Stella were gracious. I look forward to the next event in 2020.

Interesting variety of mediums and featured artists, although not clear how original any of it is to Hawaii (think Anthony Hopkins?). Exceptionally high price point, but distinctive enough to fit the bill.

Thanks for having us at the event in Las Vegas with Anthony Hopkins. It was great meeting him and his wife Stella and seeing so much more of his art work. We enjoyed the two day/night event and seeing old friends and meeting new ones. We hope to see you all soon and being able to join you all again for another event. This was our 2nd Anthony Hopkins event at the 4 seasons and it was very enjoyable and 1st class. We bought 2 more of Sir Anthonys works and had the pleasure of meeting him again. Thanks to Harte Galleries for such a great event and for sending pictures of the event.

Last night after sundown I visited this gallery and was overwhelmed and moved to be able to see Dürer and Rembrandt pieces in person, something I never thought I would have the chance to do. The man working that night was very kind and gave me space to study them quietly, and didnt embarrass or intrude while I composed myself except to later quietly point out the magnifying glass should I want to use it before letting me study them as long as I liked. My partner and I thanked him before leaving; I hope his tact and sensitivity is appreciated by the gallery owners.

Thank you for inviting us to the gala event in Las Vegas, as always it was first class and a great opportunity to purchase more of Sir Anthonys great art work. We really enjoyed the opportunity to visit with Tony again this trip and look forward to any future events that you may be hosting.

We had purchased a Lowell Mapes print ( Front street ) from the Harte gallery.When it arrived and was hung we saw that the canvas was wrinkled.After contacting the gallery, Mr. Glen Harte set up local framer to restretch the canvas.It came back just as bad. When Mr. Harte was informed, He searched out a second framer. This time it turned out perfect.Thank you so very much for your diligence in correcting the problem.The Harte galleries stand behind their art work.

Have enjoyed getting to know ownership and support staff thru the years after buying Anthony Hopkins beautiful art works in our Honeymoon in Maui in 2014 ...recently there was a wonderful meet and greet with Sir Anthony Hopkins in Las Vegas —with a large selection of his unique and beautiful art works. Was a first class event by Glen Harte — fair pricing with a each piece of art and excellent support and service. Great gallery. We enjoyed hanging with Alex and learning about the different artists. He made us feel at home and told us stories/history of the different artists and their works. Overall great experience, Alex Saab is awesome and highly recommend you buy art from him.

Owners of gallery do not value you as a frequent buyer. So disappointed in how they conduct business.

We wandered in tonight and were welcomed warmly by Sid and a featured artist, Rascal, who happened to be there. We spent about half an hour admiring all the beautiful works of art, neither of us being well versed on the topic. Sid was friendly, knowledgeable, and charming. It was my favourite gallery that we visited in town. Thank you, Sid. We both appreciate that you took the time to speak with us.

Funny story. Its raining really hard and I decide to go back to the sushi restaurant I ate at last week for some lunch, but its closed. Coming back out to the street, I duck into this art gallery to avoid the rain and I realize this place is pretty awesome (Im an art major and kinda snooty about art) so I start looking around. This guy behind the bar offers me a Mimosa. Im hungry and dont want a Mimosa so I say no and try to ignore him.As Im seeing all this art, like Albrecht Durer and Rembrandt (Im shocked), I see everyone else taking Mimosas and Im starting to think I should have taken one. Just then this other guy that looks like an electrician says, Go ahead, get a Mimosa, itll make you feel better about the weather. This time I say, OK and he goes and makes it for me (thats weird).Then he says, Its a lousy day for Maui but a great day to look around our gallery. Weve got Picasso, Chagall, Miro, Mattisse, Salvador Dali, Rembrandt, Durer and more. We even have Anthony Hopkins, Anthony Quinn and Red Skelton and a dozen living artists. Browse around for awhile and avoid the rain. Then he walks off and climbs back on a ladder in the middle of the gallery.So I browse around and I am truly shocked with the art they have in this gallery. The music was so awesome in here and the lighting and the place even smelled great, I was in there for almost an hour. No one bothered me or pressured me but a couple of different sales guys said hello and told me about some of the art. The best part was listening to one of the sales guys tell another person about the Dalis that were there. I still cant believe they were in this gallery in Maui. I felt like I was in a gallery on Rodeo Drive.Going out, the electrician says hi to me again and offers me another Mimosa. I laughed at him and said, What are you, the owner? He says, Yes. Me and my son. I told him what an amazing experience going through his gallery was and he thanked me and said, We work hard to make it that way.I will buy something here. Im going back to actually shop for something soon. But for now I can tell you, this is the most pleasant experience I had in Maui and the most incredible art gallery Ive ever been in.

Tried contacting the gallery several times with the hopes of purchasing somethingnobody answered the phone I just gave up after two separate attempts

All they want is your money....every penny...look out!!!!

I agree with Staceys experience. We were in the gallery for maybe 3 minutes before we were told that it isnt a museum and that we need to leave if we arent buying anything. Im not sure if they dont understand that Lahaina is a tourist town but this certainly isnt expected behavior when there are hundreds of people going by every day to have a look at the beautiful art.Its been a year since Staceys review and it appears nothing has been learned.

My family and I walked into this gallery and were told that if we didnt have are wallets out we could leave and that this isnt a museum! Terrible gallery! We visited several other galleries near this one and they were extremely friendly. I would give this place a minus 10 if I could!
