Super awesome hiking trail. Gives you an amazing view of the land and not usually a lot of people. A little on the longer side but it is super refreshing wish there was more shade.

Minimal shade. Dont go in super hot weather but if you do, take a lot of water. Dogs are allowed but again, take them early during summer.

Beautiful view, recommend to go early morning to be a cooler time to walk, not too crowded and perfect ocean view finish. Sometimes foggy in the AM.

WOW-views, views, views! Bring water, no bathrooms but great 2 mile out and back (4 mile total) Ocean views to Catalina Island. NOT recommended for kids! STEEP DROPS! Danger! Too close to the edge ...your kids will disappear!!.

Great hiking trail to do a moderate walk. It loops around the homes but there is a great view from the ocean. And yes you do park in a neighborhood to go on this trail.

Its a nice little hike with view of the valley and the ocean. Free parking at the residential area. The hike is about 2 miles with nice mansions on one side and the valley on the other side.

Orange County Parks and Trails rock! Better than anything in LA or Riverside!

Pleasant walk for everyone who walk. Our dog had a good time. It is best to go early morning or late afternoon when it is sunny. Parking required a two block walk to the starting point.

Wonderfull view most see to feel value of existing

It’s not too difficult to hike from here, the summit, down to Laguna Beach. It’s all downhill so inform your quads so there won’t be any complaints.

About 8 miles if you do it all. Easy at the beginning then up to the park and to the summit a little more up and down and narrow. Some benches along the way. Good for dogs on leashes.

This is a nice moderate hiking trail, mostly level with a few uphills. Nothing strenuous, beautiful ocean views along the way.

Super accessible relatively easy hike great for a wonderful family experience

Aliso Summit Trail is a family friendly and dog friendly trail behind residential area. The trail is along a cliff behind the residential area. As you hike, youll see lots of nice landscape with fancy gazebos and luxurious backyards on one side; on the other side of the trail, you look over the Aliso Woods Canyon Park, which is quite lovely during spring and fall time.Distance: ~ 6 miles roundtripTrailhead: Ridgeview and HighlandsParking: free along residential streetCondition: flat, wide, and well maintained trailLevel: EasyFor more workout or adventure, you can continue onto Talavera to proceed to Seaview Park and take the Aliso Peak Trail (adding about 2 miles roundtrip) for closer ocean view, and then Valido down toward the beach (adding another mile or so roundtrip) .
