People may go to church to find God but they stay because they find each other.Im an atheist, I went to an Alpha religious exploration meeting at Laguna Pres. It went as well as could be expected. They were friendly enough and the food was decent. I was trying not to be combative but I think I failed.Im not sure why I went. I dont think I found what I was looking for. I may go to another meeting if I can remember to put it on my calendar. Also, I disagree with the Presbyterian values of faith over works but thats a larger issue.
This community welcomed me when I was a young adult. It is a vibrant, faithful, gracious community of individuals seeking to grow up into Christ and encourage and extend grace to others who are just trying to figure out life and God. This community has a rich history in the roots of Laguna; its early formation as a city. Individual members rallied the call to action in the fire of 1993--and became a place of interfaith caring and compassion for those who lost everything. Laguna Pres was around 12 years be the city was incorporated, I hope it will be around for another 100 year. For 100 years LPC has been inviting everyone to come, just as you are.
Lovely place to worship and share testimonies . Church has many activities & excellent ministry led by Pastor
LPC is a warm, welcoming, deeply committed community of people of all ages and stages in life who seek to live a meaningful life of faith in this world we live in. The worship services are extraordinarily rich in both the message delivered and the music which is excellent and heartfelt. I love this church which has been my anchor for 33 years.
