You must make a reservation online because of COVID. Wonderful employees here who taught us the basics of paddle boarding before launching us off. We had a great time renting the water equipment here.

Wonderful place to spend the day. The paddle boats are so fun. Lots of picnic tables and shade. The playground is awesome!

Such a bummer that they are restricting anybody under 12 from going on any watercraft (and not making that very clear on the reservations at all). I understand not renting to kids on their own, but not letting them on a SUP even with a parent is unreasonable. Very disappointed kids yesterday!

Wow! What a great fishing hole, LOL. My friend Pete, a combat Vietnam veteran retired Marine, caught a 18 inch rainbow trout this evening, awesome sauce!His friend Bill also regaled me with the dilemmas our fellow Countryman in Oklahoma are enduring after our bomb Cyclone hit. How fortunate we are to live where we live on this High Desert plane... my dads house in Colorado Springs was the only one in his neighborhood to not have its fences torn down by the snow cyclone... My neighbors who just moved back to Florida will be interested to know the hurricanes have come to Colorado now. Please support the Red Cross! צבי

Epic view of the mountains and lovely little inlets to dip yer toes in.

Came here to walk around the lake with my kids (7, 4, and 1). They enjoyed the walk, trying to figure out what to do at each of the workout stations along the way, stopping at the beach areas, then ended up at the playground. Lots to see and do and on/off shaded areas around the lake. We didnt rent a SUP or paddleboat, but will come back to do that in the future. To be noted- you must rent from the boathouse, cant bring your own water equipment.

A beautiful suburban lake, enjoyable to walk around, with a play ground and fitness trail. Our goto outdoor walk when we dont want to go further afield.

Park is open Dawn to 10 PM. Boat house only open in summer time.
