Great new outdoor play ground.

Very well kept and clean place. Enjoy going there to watch my young grandson play in his instructional basketball league. Appreciate the way the coaches and referees take the time during their games to teach the kids what to do and fundamentals of the game.

I love old school-houses, and the feeling of nostalgia when walking through one. The City of Lafayette has made great use of this property as a community center and the management team is top-notch! Check them out if youre looking for a local gym to workout for not much money!

( Kids summer camp)My son loves it. They go swimming 2 days a week and they take them to the movies once a week! They even get them a drink and popcorn . My daughter went to the straight arrow camp and that was a disappointment. I’m definitely sending the kids back to McAllister next summer

Our daughter attends summer camp here every year for 3 years now, and she just loves thee activities they provide. The staff offers fun and different varieties daily. The staff are wonderful, attentive, caring, playful, and protective.

Love this place the staff is very nice and polite I go in 5 days a week get my 2 hr workout in not busy no waiting and very clean..

This is strictly a review of the adult coed volleyball league. Kind of average. You play less here given the time limits, but it is cheaper than most.Pros:1) No weird rules like a female has to touch it every time over the net. Just have to have equal numbers of guys and girls.2) Team fee is cheap compared to other leagues ($20/person instead of $40 elsewhere).3) Easy to get to, parking plentiful.4) Teams are generally friendly.Cons:1) You are seriously rushed. Very little time to warm up and complete scheduled games on time before you are kicked off. Sets are to 21, not 25. You dont play the third if one team wins the first two.2) Endline is just four feet from the wall. No real room to serve.3) The provided balls suck (too hard).

Nice recreation center for local kids around here. They need some place to go to occupy their time. Not only for kids, but adults as well.

Well-maintained center with helpful staff. Gym, gameroom, and exercise equipment. Youth and fitness programming, fitness classes and summer camp. Also have outdoor play area and basketball court. Large grassy play area for frisbee or whatever.

I do Zumba here and I just LOVE it! Great instructor, very welcoming atmosphere and very helpful staff! I pay $40 for four days a week every two months! :D

Was alot better when I was a child now they dont have half the activities to do and now its costs way to much what happened to 1$ a month a get inflammation and the economy and all that butt if you want kids to not do drugs then dont charge them to have fun....
