I went to see Avengers Endgame on that day which was my birthday. And I love that they have a photo booth and you can design your photos so me and my sister did the Avengers Endgame photos to remember on that day when we went there to see Avengers Endgame for my birthday.

Nice theater, comfy seats and nice, friendly staff. There are two Grand Theaters and have been to this one twice and The Grand 16 is on Johnston and its really my go to picture show. Both are comfy but Johnston is closer for me.

Quiet, never very busy. Staff is friendly and food is good. Theater and facilities are always clean and kept up to a top standard

I was really impressed by the cleanliness of the theatre. My only complaint was the hard chairs, a bit uncomfortable. The staff was very nice and professional..I would definitely return to watch another movie.

We saw Godzilla. The theater was easy to get to and easy to get tickets. My only complaint was with the seats. Seemed hard and narrow. Very clean theater with helpful and nice employees and I had a very good time.

Great movie theatre in a central location. Easy to get to & usually has most of the new showings. Price is typical of all other movie theatres, which in my opinion is a bit expensive. For a child that just turned 5 to be charged the same as myself, 27 years old, seems a bit much. But I know Im not the first to feel this way. I would say it was farely clean & the popcorn was fresh. Overall a great theatre!

This theatre is great, although I find the screens could be bigger. Also, which I think this is the issue that everyone has with movie theaters, is that the prices for the drinks, popcorn, and snacks are outrageous! You cannot tell me that a bag of popcorn is worth $10. But I get it, everyone needs to make their money. If you go often, you should really consider using their Reel Rewards program. It helps you get discounts on food/drink items. It only costs $10 per year.

Popcorn was good. Would prefer diet dr pepper on tap, coke products only. Clean place.

My experience here was nothing other than what was expected. I enjoyed the movie and my popcorn.

This is the smaller of the two Grand theaters in Lafayette, but it is a comparable theater. The lobby is a bit smaller, but the concessions are what you would expect. Ive never had any problems with the showings.

I wish they had reclining seats. Other than that, it was good.

Nice place to watch movies. The chairs are pretty comfortable. They have many snacks to choose from and food. There are many bathrooms and water fountains and there is an arcade. There are special boosters for children so that they can see. I liked watching movies over here. I like how they have the drink dispenser that lets you have almost any flavor of drink.

Being the only movie theater in Alexandria-Pineville area there isnt really much choice to a movie lover. But The Grand Theatre still maintains really good quality and customer service. It has excellent infrastructure. Lot of screens and shows. Good sound quality. I have been there nearly 20 times and never had an unpleasant experience

Clean friendly and great to get out and enjoy with the family, but going to the movies has become so expensive.

It was real dank. Literally, the room smelled humid. Otherwise sound quality was good and I enjoyed the movie.

FAR TOO DIM! I shouldnt leave a theater thinking I cant wait to get the blu-ray so I can watch most of the movie I missed to dimness!The projectors are incredibly dim, making for a dismal viewing experience for 2D movies. This problem is persistent and widespread among the theaters. After my last disappointing, and expensive, movie experience, my suspicions are on the theaters saving money and time by not projecting the movies correctly. A quick search confirms that theaters use 3D lenses inappropriately for their 2D movies, reducing brightness up to 85%! I dont know if thats the case here, but it sure seems like it. The last movie I saw I could barely make out the foreground. The background was too dim to even appreciate in most scenes.Straining my eyes to make out dimly lit movies is not my idea of an enjoyable time.The only reason I have the theater at two stars is because its clean and comfortable. These pros are nearly pointless. After all, you go to the movies to actually SEE the movie.

A great, clean theater and good staff. The employees are really nice and helpful. If you have any questions about the movie or show times they are happy to help. It is a great feeling to go to the movies and have a good relaxing time. They have discount tickets on Tuesday nights.

Comfortable seating friendly service

Nice staff and the bathrooms are always clean. One of the best things I can say about this theater is that the sound isnt too loud. Some cinemas the sound is way too loud and this one is perfect balance of talking to music to other sounds.

Prices for a matinee are absolute garbage for one adult and one child. I can honestly say I dont think Ive ever spent $40 on one movie outing before.

Good just be careful for rude workers that worked at the cafeteria

Small theater with advertising for the events it hosts. Costumes are welcome with a few stipulations, probably for safety. Concessions prices are unacceptable, as with any theater. But theres a CVS across the street if you know what I mean. The seats are textured cloth and comfortable. But there was this persistent smell of urine. I was hoping it was coming from a bathroom into the hall or something. But it was still noticeable in the theater itself. I definitely would not feel comfortable trying to eat in here. Maybe this was a one-time fluke, because the floors seemed clean and there wasnt trash lingering around the building or in the theater itself. But this place could do with a good mopping and some air and fabric freshener.

The theaters and seats are clean and comfortable, and the snack bar has quality too, it just costs entirely too much without showing any real benefit as to why

I drive an 18 wheeler & called ahead to see if I could park there while I enjoy a movie or 2Management said go right ahead so I enjoyed 2 movies. Its a really nice theatre with good seats & fair pricesWill definitely be back if I roll thru here again

A nice theater with nothing to complain about. Any negative experiences Ive had resulted from other patrons, not the theater itself. Offers discounted ticket prices for seniors, military, and students, as well as Tuesdays. Shows special screenings such as TCM events. Its an all-around quality theater to have in town.

The theatre is great close to home and all.. But the smell of piss in the theater is almost to the point of overwhelming... Dont think Ill be coming back

The theatre was pretty empty on this Tuesday evening which made for a very pleasant movie going experience. This, despite the fact that tickets were only $7 on Tuesdays. Win win win!

The staff was courteous and handled the problem with the credit card machines exactly like they should have. The test if a business is how well they handle inevitable problems. The management and staff make this my preferred theater in Lafayette.

Good place is clean

Have been here upwards of 10 times, have also been unlucky enough to get theater #3 the last three times. As another comment stated the smell of this theater room is strange. By strange I mean it feels extraordinarily unhealthy and heavy on your lungs. The closest thing I can relate the smell to is a wet must, similar to that of damp towels that have possibly been damp too long. We casually approached employees about the issue, just wanting to let them know. The manager came in to talk with my boyfriend and I. She seems to have a lot of answers about the types of machines they were using to help the pre-existing smell, however was careful to note that it smells like an O2 machine they have that cleans the air (clean air does not smell like mold unfortunately). She also stated that the newer theater additions are the only one with with problem, so obviously theres a bigger underlying issue here. Id rather go to this theater than the one on Johnston because it is closer to where I live, but I also dont think Id ever want to risk getting theater number 3. I dont have asthma problems but if itd affecting my lungs I can only imagine how others might feel. Buyer beware, and if you can, avoid theater room #3 at least.

Comfortable stadium style seating with adjustable arm rests or raise them out of the way. Kids pack is a bargain if you want just a little to drink and popcorn.

Loved the movie and company I was with. Price shock for ticket and eats, had not been in a while.

Staff needs to be told NOT to talk loudly to other coworkers about films being screened in front of patrons. Tonight, I was there to see Puffs. 16 dollars for a ticket to this special one night only performance, and I walk into the lobby to hear the staff member who would be running the film describing it in negative detail to another coworker. I had to put my fingers in my ears and hum and walk away so she wouldnt totally ruin it. She then seemed to be filming me from the booth after the film was over. I turned up into the booth to see her with her phone out and it was pointed right at me. It was really creepy. I dont go out to the movies often and now, I remember why.

I am FOREVER grateful to the Grand 14! I have a handicapped child who has a weak immune system and cannot be around other children. The manger, Michael, roped off a section for him and only charged us for the seats we used! From now on the ONLY theater I will be attending is the Grand 14!!God Bless You!

Me and my husband come here twice a month for movie date night and its always been wonderful! Also this grand theater is the only one that shows different movies then the others.
