Unfortunately not maintained like used to. Live real close & while a nice short cut to cross under Sleater-Kinney & bike trail...no longer a safe place to hang. Homeless everywhere & instead of keeping to themselves they choose to cause problems. Litter, needles, tents, & disturbances are frequent...even during daylight hours
The park is open from 7AM to DUSK not 24 hours. For what it is: great. Its a nice place for those that live close to lay in the grass, kick a soccer ball around, do some exercise, etc. I definitely dont recommend making a special trip out here just for the park itself but if you work or live close by, its a nice place to spend a lunch hour. Be watchful for speedy bikers if youre on the pavement. There are no latrines and there is one water fountain in one of the two grassy areas. As usual, please pick up after yourself and your pet!
Very clean, nicely maintained grass, Great trail to walk or bicycle through and has a quiet benches which you can sit and clear your mind
I made out with a girl there. She tried to give me a cold sore but I wouldnt let her. I regret that ever since at least I would have something to remember her by until the restraining order is up.
Very wide open and a nice place to walk!
Nice little paths and grassy areas. No water fountains or restrooms.
I love to relax and just breath. And this is a great place to do just that.

A little bit of nature in the heart of Lacey, WA
Hidden gem. Walkers, cyclists and homeless are the usual people seen here.
