I love this store and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful but they don’t wear masks during this pandemic so I will be going to Aquarium on Papermill where they take their guest health seriously.This is America and they have the freedom not to wear them but they aren’t free from the consequences

They also sell salt water and RO and couple others. This is my new favorite place. Had a bad experience at another local store. This store here gives me hope there is still great stores out there. Visited from out of town, and the staff and owner were incredibly friendly and made sure I had everything I needed to keep my coral healthy.The quality and pricing for the coral was absolutely fantastic. Very clean tanks and healthy fish. Will be looking forward to my next visit!

He is beyond knowledgable about aquatic life and has been so much help! We have been building live aquariums and all natural habitats, and we couldnt be more satisfied. We visit weekly!

This is the place to go to if you want helpful, friendly service. Being a Knoxville local, this is the first place I check when I want something. Their prices are anywhere from average to amazing on livestock. Check them out, youll be glad you did!

I have been going here for about 4 years now. They recently changed ownership which worried me a bit, but I am glad to say it was very much for the better. Their livestock looks better, the tanks are cleaner and well kept. Just overall great shop with knowledgeable staff.

They have upgraded the store and you can tell. They are going to give that fish store behind the bookstore a run for their money. I can tell.

We had a great experience at Aquatic Marine today! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process of us finding new fish. We had an ick plague our tank a few weeks ago, and many of the fish we bought at another store died. The owner (who was running the front counter) at Aquatic Marine was able to help guide us on revamping and healing our tank. We can’t wait to go back to find new friends!

Issac and Kinny are awesome!! Im a first-time aquarium owner and they helped me through all the steps for my Fluval Vista 23 gallon aquarium. They helped me pick out the Aquascape, the substrate the plants the fish everything. I highly recommend coming here for new and experienced aquarium enthusiasts.

Every time I walk in the store I am always politely greeted by a worker who stops what they are working on to come over and talk to me and help me find what I need. They always like talking to me and give the best deals around. If you have any problems with you fish tank freshwater or saltwater they will help you with it all. This is my favorite store.

Under new ownership and absolutely a wonderful place to visit! The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, theyre continuing to get more stock in, and they seem to care for their fish and supplies. Its also really helpful that they sell second-hand tanks and supplies along with new. The products are trusted names in the aquatic industry and theres a decent selection of items. Definitely would recommend this local store over any of the big pet stores.

I am new to the reef tank hobby and the people at Aquatic Marine have been nothing but friendly and helpful in assisting me in getting started. I picked up my first tank shortly after ownership changed hands and even during all of their work to resituate the store theyve taken the time to educate me on the subject and assist me in doing everything correctly.I couldnt recommend them more and as long as I am in Knoxville I will keep coming back.

The workers have been very helpful every time ive gone, if i have a problem with my tank they take time to explain everything and all my options to fix it, they make sure the fish are taken care of and they are very knowedgeable on the tanks and animals unlike a lot of petstores. They have a wide selection of fish and aquatic animals and plants, and they have made it easy for me as a beginner with tanks to understand the care and make sure my tank is doing good if I come in with a problem.

I frequented this business for quite some time, however I will no longer. The former staff were much more knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend shopping elsewhere.

I work out of town a lot and always visit the local Fish store to see what they have. Went into Kenny’s store and was Impressed awesome prices and great staff and customer service!!

So I recently purchased a flagfin angelfish from this store and unfortunately it died within 6 days of the purchase. The store has a warranty on fish for 7 days and you must bring the fish in along with a water sample. So after the water test they performed my nitrates were showing a bit high with the salinity being low which is not a big deal. However with the parameters being off they would not guarantee the purchase. I find this frustrating for several reasons. One yes the nitrates were high because the fish was not eating and I had to overfeed the tank in order to figure out what foods the fish would take but it didnt take any and starved to death. Number 2 this specimen diet consists of sponges and I asked them if they could order me some sponges and they never did, so I find them to blame in this as well. Number 3 they sell fish they receive from their supplier the same day they receive them without quarantining them and holding them for a few days. The Aquarium at Papermill places fish in a holding system for several days and will not sale them until the process is completed and offers a 14 day guarantee as does the Coral Reef. Even most online retailers offer a 14 day guarantee on purchases. I believe its good to support your local fish stores but this store does not support its customers in my opinion. Of course this is my opinion others have had good experiences with them. They do have a great deal of aquarium supplies and I like that but I would be very reluctant to purchase any livestock from them in the future. Maybe things change in the future and there is a better customer support base. I would use extreme caution to purchase fish from any store that does not quarantine and hold fish and only offers a 7 day warranty.

Kinny & the entire team are wonderful. They will make sure you get whatever you need. They answer questions, respectfully no matter how seasoned to the hobby you are.

Went and purchased $60 worth of fish and the lady helping was nice but failed to mention that half the fish I bought that she helped me pick out would out grow my current tank size which i disclosed at the begining. Plus the Dwarf frog I bought died bc my tank is to large for it and she failed to mention that too. Now I have a quite large common pleco and a bala shark in a 55 gal that soon Im not gonna know what to do with. I will say their selection was nice so I recommend doing your research prior to picking out your fish.

Tons of dry goods, coral, and fish. Staff is super friendly and knowledgable. If they don’t have what you need, just ask, they will find a way to get it. Im not a freshwater guy, but if you are, they definitely have a big selection of everything freshwater too.

This is the best aquarium store in town, hands down- Ive been to all of them and none even compare. The prices on tanks and equipment here are great, and Jake and Taybra are both knowledgeable enough to answer even advanced questions while also being patient with beginners. They are budget-cognizant and will never pressure you into buying things you dont need.As far as livestock, the store carries a large selection of many types of coral and can frag pieces off for you if you ask. They carry as many fish as anywhere else in Knoxville and if you know what you want, and it isnt in stock, they will order it for you in a timely manner. The fish I have purchased from here have always been in good health and never brought any parasites or other maladies into my tank.Dont go anywhere else for aquarium shopping in Knoxville. These are great people, fair prices, and high quality inventory. If you dont believe me, look at their 1200 gallon(!) show tank.

Love this place very informative

I was so disappointed with the care of your betta fish. One was in a little cube near the register. He had maybe an inch of water and was covered in so much algae.. I brought him home and he is also quite skinny. Even a clean cup would have been better than that mess...
