Wow! What a wonderful store. It is so clean and it has a great selection. All you need to create a fresh or salt water aquarium. They also have stuff for ponds. The staff is so kind and helpful. I will be recommending this store to all my friends and family.

Its great. I just have one problem. The hex tanks at the back of the fish room keep taking my money! Thats where they keep the oddballs. Today it was a zebra knife fish. Last time it was an arrowhead puffer. They really need to hide those two tanks from me!

I’ve had a 10 gallon freshwater tank I’ve been wanting to start but I wanted to do it the right way and do right by any future fish I have. Enrique was the sales associate that helped me with everything from the substrate, freshwater plants, and things to condition my water! Amazing work guys I’ll definitely be back to get my fish soon

Very good local fish store with a nice variety of both fresh and saltwater fishes. Good selection of merchandise and equipment. They ordered the 90p tank I have been looking for so Im appreciative of their efforts. The fish room sales folks were not especially knowledgeable, in one case selling me something I didnt want (didnt notice until I got home 2 hours away) and sold me fewer of something I asked for that I did want. Watch them bag your order and check the bags before checking out! Otherwise it would be a 5 rating. Nice people.

Been disappointed several times with customer service here. Today we come and had our mask on since last time was refused entrance to store because we didnt have mask. So today we were fixing to buy over a 400.00 pump and was refused service because my nose was out of my mask. Wow and the kid said well do you breathe through your nose never ever will we go back. The coral reef will be the only and besides the coral reef you couldnt ask for a better store and customer service Chris and Amy are absolutely the best to deal with my advice never go to this place meaning the aquarium

I have a Medical exemption from wearing a mask but was refused entrance to store. I was told I could order online for curbside service. When choosing livestock I prefer to actually see what I’m choosing in person. Discriminated against for having a medical condition that makes wearing a mask a risk to my health. Do not recommend this store. Not the first time I’ve received poor customer service at this store, but definitely the last. Won’t go back.

We had an extremely bad experience there on the 7/26/2020. I think the staff just wanted to close shop because it was getting close to close. We were left with having driven about 40 min to get there, carrying dead fish from a few days earlier that we bought there- no replacement. They were closed. We could of course BUY more fish. (and why would we?) From here forward I think well pay more attention to what we can order from a normal pet store as this simply wasnt worth all the trouble it takes to deal with them.

The store is pretty nice. Only problem Ive gone there 2 separate times to get salt water first time I get home and tested it salinity was super low. Thought well maybe my salinity metters were off so I calibrated them and no salt was super low. Went back a few weeks later to get water told them what had happened had them check the salinity in the store said it was 1.024. Get home go to do a water change but before I did I tested again guess what water tested super low again. Rechecked my meters they were spot on. Called store they acted like they didnt care they could have wrecked peoples tanks by selling low salinity water. I didnt demand money back or anything. Just tried to warn them their equipment needs to be calibrated and they didnt care. Be careful if you buy water from them. Id still go there to get corals and fish and all the stuff just not water.

Every trip to Aquarium is a learning experience. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Never have I ever felt pressured to purchase anything. Matter of fact every purchase I have made has had knowledgeable input from the staff. They are my go to for anything CO2 related for my planted freshwater tanks.

So I have been coming to Aquarium for about a year now. I have spent an awful lot of money at this store. And usually I have no issues. Devin, Tanner C., Drake, and Kristin have always been great. However since the owners son Philip as gotten more involved things have gone to hell in a handbag. Including him recently yelling at an employee in front of me for absolutely no reason. Their are many things I will put up with but this isn’t one of them. If this continues or the owner doesn’t put his son back into his proper place I will shop elsewhere. I don’t care what Philips position is at this store, you don’t speak to people the way he does. My money spends anywhere.

Made a large purchase and paid accordingly, however they did not get information correct at time of payment. Therefore remitted payment again and still processed in error. I am a honest and upstanding person who is honest, however due to their error they decided to seek legal against me. Your error twice payment was given, so another payment again and told me their error almost cause an employees job. So they turned it on to me as my error. Wow, dont patron a business who isnt honest and has business etiquet.

We travel over 90 miles to come to this store. The staff is very helpful. We had a tank that was almost wiped out from fish from a big box pet store and they were very helpful in recovering our tank. We have never had any issues with the fish or plants we have purchased here.

This place was a DREAM to me. I felt like a kid in a candy store. The selection of products, equipment, plants, and most of all fish was incredible. All of the fish looked amazing. They even had fish I had wanted to see, but never had. They have coral for sale which I thought was really neat. This place was just great and to top everything, each staff member I interacted with was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Im about 4 1/2 hrs away from this store in W.V., but Id make a trip just to visit I loved it soo much.

Excellent customer service. I recently adopted a 10 gal saltwater tank from a coworker who didnt want to bother with it any more. Devin (manager?) was quick to offer help and walk me through how to properly care for the tank, and offer suggestions on how to get it clean safely. I have been in three times now, and Devin always remembers me and is there to help. I was told the aquarium store on Chapman Hwy. is cheaper, but Id pay more any day for this level of customer service. Highly recommend this shop.

So I hate to do this but I had a terrible visit this past week here. I have always used aquarium as I used to have a few saltwater tanks and frequented this store and loved the staff. Now that I am settled, I was looking into adding a few fish to my current aquariums. I asked a lady if they had a certain fish and she went on to tell me they will eat my fish, eat the slim coating etc, and would not tell me if they had any or not ( keep in mind she had no clue what I even had) She then asked a man if they had any after I persisted and he rudely stated they will eat your fish etc. they did not ask what I was putting them with, they had no clue what type of tank, size etc I had at all. I had to poke and prod for him to see if they had any. I have never had this kind of problem before but I will go elsewhere where the employees are glad to help find inventory instead of what these two employees did. Years and years of purchases and I won’t be coming back now.

This is the best aquarium shop I have ever visited. Vast selection of fish, plants and corals from common to rare varieties you only usually see on the internet. I was impressed with their workers as I heard them questioning people about their tanks, lights, substrates and filters and making suggestions on what should be able to work in their aquariums. If you live in Eastern TN or Southeast KY and are interested in fish this is the place to visit.

Best place to find what you cant find anywhere else! They have everything you need from supplies to fresh water fish and saltwater fish. Its almost like going to an aquarium, but on a much smaller scale.

Ive been coming here since I was around five years old just to look at the fish. Since then, Ive started up my tanks and I dont buy my fish or anything else that goes in the tank anywhere other than here. For me, not only is the visit in nostalgic, but I always know that the employees want the best for my tank. Easiest people to talk to and they know their stuff. I asked about plants for my crayfish and tetras and they knew just what to recommend.
