What an informative, beautiful tour! They take you backstage so you can see what goes on behind the scenes, you get into a van that takes you behind all the barns where they take care of animals, the whole time the driver is answering any questions & giving you really informative facts about elephants and animal kingdom in general. You get dropped off right in front of an elephant pen where you can see the different elephants they have, they introduce them by name & traits, they even have a little baby. They tell you so much information about how the elephants are taken care of, why they’re important to the eco system, what Disney is doing to protect them, and more. At the end, the lady offers to take pictures of you with the elephants. It’s about an hour long tour. It’s so worth the money, especially if you’re an annual pass holder and you get that extra discount.

This is the cheapest tour to take atAnimal Kingdom. It is also the shortest, which is why they offer the tour multiple times during the day. This is more of an educational tour than an interactive tour. You do get to watch the herd of elephants at a separate location that no other park goer has access to. However, The elephants are nowhere near you, so you’re basically taking pictures from a far. Even with that said, this is still a very informative tour with friendly tour guides and cool artifacts for you to look. An excursion that is kid friendly.

Up close (well close enough) with these gentle giants and learning about their habitat is worth doing at least once!
