Nice place to think about business. Service is typically above par.
Excellent food and service by Michelle as always!
Exceptional golf courses. Both the Oaks and Cypress are in beautiful condition. The restaurant and staff are amazing too. Thank you Henry for your attention to detail and service tonight at dinner. Kudos to you.
Great golf at reasonable prices. The foodIs as good as the golf. The two golfcourses are laid out in a great venuefor fair play.
1 star for the golf carts. A ketchup bottle is faster than the greens. The fairways are moist and the bunkers lack playable sand. Basically a hard pan lie in the bunker. The hostess at the grill should find something else to do.I responded to your reply via the email you provided this morning.
I can only say positive things when it comes to eating here at the Grille, the food is excellent the staff is courteous, friendly and quick and the restaurant is always clean. When live music is scheduled the dining experience is even better. Will definitely return. Kudos Stonegate Grille.
Nice track. Cypress is target golf with some holes that would be tough on any course. Oaks is longer and more forgiving for rusty snowbirds. Staff is helpful and informed.
Called for tee time recording said they could not answer leave number. Never ha. That happen. Business must be good
First time at Stonegate. Played The Oaks course. Fairways and greens were in very good shape. Looking forward to playing the Cypress course next time.
Beautiful and Everyone is very friendly
Nice place to spend the day! Plenty of choices for food and 36 holes of golf wont drain your wallet.
Nice courses. Good pace of play. Great staff. Outstanding.
Quite pricey during the season but during the summer months you cant beat the price for such a quality golf course. The Grill has a full service bar at standard prices. Staff at both grill and golf course try to make your experience pleasurable.
Always good to be with a great group of people.
Beautiful gated community in a depressed and polarized area.
Just there for cocktails at the bar.Prices for drinks reasonable.Sometimes you feel invisible waiting to place your order.
We havent played the course in 2 years so after reading the reviews I was pretty concerned that the course was in lousy shape. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it is in pretty good shape. When we arrived, we found out our tee time was for another course. The staff at the Oaks was very accommodating and not only got us on and only charged us for the discounted rate! We will definitely go back!
It was really fantastic and our waiter Henry was exceptional!
New menu & new chef at the Grille in Solivita. I tried the balsamic glazed chicken. I subbed veggie medley instead of sauteed spinach. Very good although a little heavy on the balsamic glaze for my taste so I will ask them to go lighter next time. The veggies could have been a little hotter in temperature.....it probably sat under the heat lamp in the kitchen a little too long. But it was at the peak of the dinner shift and the servers were busy. They could probably use one or two more servers for the size of the crowd tonight. It was for these reasons that I gave only 4 of 5 stars. My server, Santos, was a very nice & pleasant young man. I find all of the servers & bartenders there to be very nice & professional. There are not many dining options outside of Stonegate CC in Solivita besides fast food joints and a very dirty Dennys so The Grille is the default place to go unless you want to drive 10 to 15 miles.
Was only there a short time
The grill after a change in chefs is far better than it has been in many years. Service is wonderful, menu is varied. There are specials on certain days Wednesday liver and onions, Saturday night prime rib.
Members of this public course are rude and dangerous. Play with caution. I got a response on here from my previous post about how bad /dangerous this course can be. I tried to reach out to George the manager. Four times! No attempt to call me back even left messages. Called Hampton Golf HQ. They did not answer any calls either. I leave this to the readers.
Good golf course .... staff need to be a little friendlier.
Played here 5 days in a row while visiting my parents early Spring 2018.... We usually play a Disney course but the greens were perfect here and the course was just recently cleaned up following the hurricane (Irma???). It was awesome to have the crew on the task of cleaning this place up so quickly and efficiently.Loved every moment and have great memories...
Love it there very relaxing place, will be going there alot.....
The good course is decent. The bar sucks. Service is horrible. 20 minutes to get a hot dog. $20 fur a six pack. No one wants to provide service. Worse service ever.
Food is good. Staff pleasant and professional.
Food was good. The staff is always friendly and efficient
Poor, breakfast people were complaining that their English muffins were sour smelling, general comment was how can you mess up an English muffin, Benedict sauce was curled with a bad taste.
Amazing WOW
Golf course struggling..Overpriced and very overrated. Waste of money in comparison to quality courses within decent driving range. Grill is haphazard...certainly not worth the trip unless you are a captured resident within the community. Both courses and two eating establishments are very disappointing.
Course is looking much better, but some of greens need tender living csre
Nice staff, pretty course but greens were in rough shape. Also found it crowded and group behind hit into us multiple times even though we were held up by the groups ahead.
Very beautiful course. Play it you will enjoy
Fairways in great shape.
Very disappointed with quality of the greens. Dead / infected and extremely slow. Rated 4/5 stars, maybe a 3 when you realize the poor conditions of the greens. Fairways, sandtraps, rough in good shape. Serious golfers will not enjoy the experience or at best be very disappointed.
Played the Cypress course this afternoon. Course was in good shape and challenging. Pro shop staff and starter were friendly.
Fairways look good grass is high, putting are poor very patchy.
Nice golf course if you are visiting the attractions. Pace is a little slow due to the amount tourists playing.
Excellent and quick service! Great food with large portions.
We played the Cypress course yesterday Feb. 17, 2016. The experience left a lotto be desired from the reception to the course itself. Other golf courses we haveplayed in the last month and a half, receive you with a warm greeting and assistin removing clubs from the car. No one in site at this course. The pro shop wasmore interested in getting your green fee then welcoming you as a first time visitor. Then we had to get our own clubs onto the cart as no one was around even to saywhich cart to take. The course was in deplorable condition with greens that whereeither down to sand surfaces and sand traps full of water. One would think that theywould adjust the price accordingly and mention these problems at the pro shop, butno one seemed to care. The focus seemed to be getting the green fee and good luckto you and your game. We are average golfers with a 7 and 11 handicaps who nowvow that this course will never see us again. Good luck to those who fail to read thisreview.J.P.C.
Restaurant and bar were nice. Food was solid. Wait staff were friendly ans on the ball.
Fun course with a tricky lay out. Staff polite and course in decent shape.
Air conditioning too high!!! Service always good. Friendly people.
Because l live there but the course needs work there trying.
Great place for friends to gather, good food
Love activities at Solavita, such a beautiful development
Had a great time playing the Cypress course. Pace of play was great and course was in excellent condition.
Nice course here
Pasta & shrimp was good, service was good. Fair price.
Disappointed ....this is the correct word to see the greens in a way not suitable for potting is the first time I see this situation on this golf course and I hope it does not happen again.
Very calm and serene..
The Grille is a good meeting spot. Tasty menu. Sports bar area expanded.
Love the pool and hot tub
Place is awsome a neighborhood with its own shopping plaza how cool is that
Great place to play golf. I am a member and thoroughly enjoy my membership.
Place is beautiful. Both courses, oaks and cypress are in great cond and challenging. Carts are new and in great shape, pro shop is well stocked and staff is great. Anyone who wrote marginal conditions was probably there after 3 weeks of rain in july. Very scenic and great wildlife viewing also. I worked maintenance on these courses for 3 years. The avg joe golfer has no idea how difficult and expensive it is to upkeep all that real estate on a daily basis. Each course uses over $500 in gas weekly for the fairway mowers, greens mowers, rough mowers, trap rakes, weed wackers, plus pay the workers. Thats if nothing on one of the $40,000 machines breaks or needs a $2000 part. So please dont complain that the price is high or the course is in bad shape. We busted our rears in 100 degree heat to try kept the course nice for you. Enjoy
They have the best Eggs Benedict
Beautiful grounds and love the restaurant!
Nice sports bar for drinks
Great golf course and restaurant!
Had fun played 36holes both courses fun to play good conditions. Slow play on last nine took 3 hours to play.
Nice when you like Links style courses, but not good for Swift play
Will maintain challenging course should be played
Course not in best of shape, played Oaks Course. Fairway grasses are kind of thin. Greens are either bumpy or have bare spots. Friendly staff, did not stop at the turn, as the cart jockey told us lunch would not be available until 11 (7:56 tee time). Sadly, this was a mediocre at best course and being my first one to play in Florida, a bit disappointing.
Great service
Real gem in central Florida! Good times
Good food and awesome service. Love the Roasted Beet Sandwich.
Great course.. Great people working in the Pro Shop...
Great food, drinks and staff. More sandwiches and salads than large meals.
Great conditioned course in a nice setting very sociable club house excellent experience!
Nice Courses Bar & Restaurant Pleasant & Friendly!
It was a beautiful Golf Course played The Oaks and loved it
Its in great shape
Had a great time.
Well maintained and challenging layout for all levels of golfers.
Nice. Courses, friendly service worth the trip
I have to say I am disappointed with my experience. I have been coming here for over 6 years whilst on holiday. Last time we came the Tee times were overbooked and I was told to skip 2 holes as there was 10 people waiting to Tee off the forth. Then during my game I overheard a member of staff speaking to a member, telling her that the reason it was overcrowded was because of outside players and how they shouldnt be allowed to play. Avoid going during November, Im taking my business elsewhere.
Beautiful course, really enjoyed it.
Two great courses, Cypress a lot more challenging.
Stonegate is the perfect compliment to the Solivita active adult community. The property is nestled within over three thousand pristine conservation area and over 55 homes. The lush greenery, includes 100 year old oak hammocks, waterways and streams. The Oaks is a Ron Garl-designed 18-hole par-72 course encompassing more than 7,000 yards with multiple tees for players of varied levels. The Cypress is an 18-hole par-72 covering over 6,700 yards designed by Clifton, Ezell and Clifton. The Oaks was awarded by Gold Digest as the Best Places to Be.My buyers in Solivita like the fact that these 2 incredible courses are available to them if they decide to use them. Enrollment in the golf package is not a requirement to reside in Solivita.
Great place
Great place to meet up with friends
