Lots of open space, a walking trail, multiple playgrounds, and baseball/softball fields. Very family friendly. Renovated accessible playground coming soon.

To me its the 1 stop shop. Water park basket all in door and out, baseball, open field for football or soccer, 1.5mile (I think) paved track around the entire area, and 2kids play area. 1for kids with disabilities which is very important. Its also next to a Sonics and a car wash which is convenient. Drop your kids off let them play while you get that car together. The only thing is the outdoor basketball court is in the back so if you dont know you wont know.

This is a wonderful park to run, play basketball or just have a stroll with your family or alone. It is a truly safe park to bring your children and your pets. It is very convenient to many places in the city. Ive been visiting this park for 20 years and have witnessed many improvements. There are always many people walking and enjoying themselves. Excellent park. The water park is pretty impressive as well. The recreational center is amazing.

This park is great. I want to remind community members that the purple playground was made for special needs children. While everyone is allowed on it, and same age peer socializing is so great and encouraged, please keep in mind that there are kids there with disabilities and they are at their park. Its heart breaking for a parent and their family members to see someone get mad at their special needs child for doing something they dont know theyre not supposed to do. This is their safe place to explore, so if you go there please keep in mind that some of the kids will do things that typically developing kids their same age would not do. Ex: like touch your bag or try to open it, or try to join your picnic. :) Just please always remember to be kind, especially here.

Pictures of the water park behind the public park you have to pay for the water park but the public park is fun has a lot of places to skate and walk and three different playgrounds to play on and plenty of picnic tables and benches Right now one of the playgrounds is being upgraded but theres not enough lights so when it starts getting dark you cant see

Great place overall. I love to go around the trail and stop at the park. One of the 3 playgrounds are getting updated currently.

Im not sure why this place popped up as me visiting, but Ive never been here. It looks really fun though, but Im sure its not open due to the Corona Virus. Otherwise wed have gone cause it looks pretty fun.

No social distancing, its pretty much anything goes out here. Place is way crowded. Deff not enough play area for kids to play in for the crowd that comes during the day. You have so much open field but only like 30% of it is a play area for kids .

Great gym, very clean!Especially now during covid 19 time the staff keeps it up, and of course we as customers have to do our part as well!Overall, no complaints what so ever!Big thanks to the staff!

Great family park. Has large baseball fields, soccer field, numerous playgrounds and a large Gym facility with child care (while youre working out). Also a seasonal waterpark, with huge colorful slides. Everything is also very well maintained, and its just 5 minutes off the highway.

Once you get into the waterpark, the place is awesome. Ive been there multiple times and theyve gotten started late each time. Whoever runs the front gate also needs to learn how to talk to people. She comes off as extremely rude and pisses people off before they even get into the waterpark. Lifeguards do a great job.

Great park but beware of the social distance during this pandemic. Love the outside equipment for kids and adults.

Great park for kids. I thought it was really amazing to have a special needs park with wheel chair accessible swings and ramps. Such a cool place.

This is generally a decent place for sports, but not to relax. My kids like to walk here because we live right across the street, but, I wouldnt say that its great. It is okay and convenient if you live by here.

I truly loved it! Watching my Niece & her other teammates practice for their up coming tournament was loads of fun! These parents supporting their daughters is the way its supposed to be. Field well lighted, plenty of parking, concession stand open. I met a new little friend.

Gym didnt allow a refund for kids once found out daycare wasnt gonna be open in evenings had paid for my 2 kids just day before. However besides that its a great gym clean and friendly.

The best park in Killeen. They just started renovations of one of the four playgrounds today. The splash pad is currently closed.

Open the water park already..The Great state of Texas hasnt worried too much about the COVID situation, why should Killen/Lions park be any different

Its just over 1 mile a lap, a little scenery, plenty of parking, and open fields for additional work outs.

Had a great time watching the kids enjoy themselves.

Very nice and well maintained park with covered areas, play areas, and a walking/running trail.

Due to the current pandemic the park was mostly operational. It was a very nice experience with the family.

Just found this park and we love it. The rubber flooring instead of the wood chips is the main reason why this is now our go to park. Also having 3 playgrounds to pick from is great for the kids

One of the more active parks in the greater Killeen area. This walking trail and fields for the little league teams. Several covered area along with benches line the walkways.......Also scenic area for snapping images of your love ones!!!!!

Nice trail to run, bike, or walk. Pretty clean facilities, decent areas for shade.

Excellent Senior Citizens activities. The Center is well managed & maintained. I recommend everyone look into membership.

This is a very clean park with allot to offer. You have the Fitness Center with, of course, all you would need for that active lifestyle. There is a walk/jog/run course outside that ranges from 1.5 miles to 3 miles and longer if you combine some of the routes. There is also the sports fields which accommodate about 4 baseball fields and soccer as well. In addition you have the water part which is fun all summer long. There is plenty to do at the water park for all ages, with an area just for the little ones. So enjoy getting fit, playing sports or just having a last with the family, see you there!

Love this place and so do the kids. A fun afternoon playing at the park or swim lessons in the summer or a nice work out it all can be done here.

Lots of fun stuff for the kids. There is quite a bit of wear in the floor surfaces. Some things didnt move as freely as they should. The idea of fencing each area is there.

Lit path and two distance options. The small path is about half a mile and the long path is a little over a mile long. Playgrounds, basketball courts and walking paths are all pretty well maintained year round.

Great place to go take the children to have fun. Bring some cold water for the heat of the day. Water bottles are handy to have while your out there. If you dont no problem because theres a sonic right next to the park to cool off. Nice place to just relax or walk around.

Open park unfortunately not as upkeep as it should be. Many holes and trash not taken out. Great for a casual walk or run.

I like the track. Its about a mile long if you take the outside. The park seems cool for kids. There are soccer & baseball fileds. Also a full court basketball court.

Always a great environment. We love taking the kids to the playground and we walk to track regularly. My only suggestion would be to update/maintain the bathrooms a bit more.

It has a great trainer that works out of it and has work out equipment but to get preteen a membership theres not much they can do so feel a little unsure. As far a gyms goes its decent

Foam floors are really starting to come apart. Smaller kids will trip but 4+ will have fun. One slide is cracked at the bottom. Stick to the covered playground. Plenty of slides. Rock walls and play areas

Great place to walk. Safe and wide walkway. The senior center is fantastic! I would move to Killeen just for that. Many activities geared to senior lifestyle. Modern, clean, and the staff genuinely cares.

Lots of fun stuff for kids to play on and with but needs some updating, play surfaces are crumbling and we are always picking up litter. Visit the parks in Harker Heights for clean, safe spaces with restrooms and drinking fountains

This park is a great park for everyone in the family. It has a walking/running trail that circles the entire park. Lots of play area for the kids to swing and climb. Shaded area with picnic tables to sit and watch your kids while they play. Large grassy area to throw a Frisbee or play catch. Senior center just across the parking lot. Sonic is on the other side. There is a water park and a gymnastics and tumbling center close by.There is also a membership gym next to the senior center. Something here for everyone in the family no matter your age. The only downside is there are no bathrooms.

Great park. Not only for kids but for adults also. Great for a romantic walk or a workout.

There is plenty of walking space and open fields that are well trimmed. They also have three different play grounds in the vicinity that make it easy for smaller kids to play safely.

Other than needing grown trees and seating its nice. The older playgrounds need new mats and some equipment needs fixed.

It was a fun park. The area for special needs was nice and accessible.

Its a nice park, with enough covered space for a large get-together. There are things to keep kids entertained, while you slave over the grill... Bring your own music, tho.

Great for short fast pace walking and the senior center is great to do cool down low resistant exercises.

Great playgrounds for the kiddos. Excellent shade under pavilions and the soft floor is a bonus. Also doubles as a great picnic area for meet-ups!

Nice place to walk. Only downside is you are right there by the main road. They have a cool little outdoor gym for fitness and playgrounds for kids.

Great place to bring the kids. They have 3 separate playgrounds, so theres something for everyone.

Nice park. Has a waterpark, multiple playgrounds, fields to play ball, and multiple trails to run. It even has a playground for disabled children (wheelchair friendly). Of course that means its more crowded with rude people that block both walkways walking 3+ side-by-side as if theyre the only ones out there, but minus the idiots lacking consideration, its nice. If it had water then it would really be nice.

Instructors Teresa and Jackie for RIPPED and kickboxing exercise classes, respectively, are fantastic. They are very expert, friendly, and dedicated to their professions. They make sweating fun.

There are always a ton of kids for my son to play with, and the park is big enough to accommodate all. Its my go to for outside fun

This was the neatest park its a baseball park an has 3 different play grounds all age appropriate I have a 22 month old and a 6 year old an both had a blast. Only down fall no restrooms near playground only in baseball park. Wish the water park would of been open then it would of been perfect.

On a Sunday afternoon, the park as a whole was quite busy. My wife and I took our grandchildren (Chloe & Jackson) to the park and they had a great time playing on everything, along with all the other kids. It is a clean and well kept facility that includes an indoor and outdoor pool, a full service gym, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and a running track that circles the entire place.

My kids love this park. There are 3 play grounds for kids from 2-15 yo. theres wheelchair accessible swing available. not to mention basketball courts, softball fields and water park! only thing that need to be improved is the restroom. its always dirty :(

It is a big area for my daughter to play in. However, there are people around the park who like to smoke there. It makes me sad since my baby is only 4 months old.

Very good for walking. Nice park, but the people at the basketball court could consider being a little more quiter than normal. They have loud music on most of the time. You cant hear it around the park, but you can hear it if you get a little close.Overall, nice park!!!

Best Park in town.

I love this park. My son plays sports here, plays at the playground and overall its very decent. I have noticed some wear and tear om the playground areas though and there are tons of fireant mounds over the field areas (this is why Im rating at 4 stars instead of 5). It has a great walking/jogging trail and Ive seen bunches of people with their dogs too. It would be better if they took care of the ant issue and repaired the areas needing it but like I said, overall great park. The restroom area is not very well kept either. Definitely pretty gross in there. Best to Go before you go to the park.

Great location. Park is well maintained., clean and the pool area is nice.Didnt know that you couldnt bring outside food and drinks. But it still worked out well. The family had a good time.

My dog and I love walking at Lions Club Park. Our favorite park in Killeen. It has always ben a safe place to walk and there are always families there. I hope people respect the park and keep it clean.

Very large park/playground areas. Including one of the nicest special needs playgrounds Ive seen.
