Great spot to kayak! The mangrove tunnels are beautiful, and its quiet out there. Theres areas where you can get in the water and swim, and theres plenty of wildlife to see. We like to get a group together and go out in the evenings after work. If youve never been in there, its a truly whimsical experience!

Fun little walk, not much to see but the trees and a few bodies of water but its chill

Great place to spend a few hours kayaking or paddle boarding alone or with friends and family. Youll feel like youre in the middle of the jungle despite being right next to a housing development and international airport. If you are on a tight schedule or you dont want to get lost, I would bring a map or go with a guide.

Rent a kayak from Hurricane Hole. This is the best place in Key West to go through in a kayak

A peaceful paddle through the groves is always good for the soul. A great place to relax and reflect on things.

We live on the canal next to the Mangrove, so maybe Im partial to the beauty and serenity. They are still recovering from the hurricane but still beautiful. We always take our visitors here on kayaks our paddle boards and everyone loves it.

Great Kayaking Location!!

This park in Key West is not a nature lovers paradise by any means! Looks like a scene from a horror film. Old abandoned structures litter the landscape, the water looks dingy compared to a natural mangrove forest such as John Pennekamp Coral Reef park in Key Largo. I gave two stars bc it is the only place in Key West where you can duck off for a little privacy.
