Went kayaking. Only online booking is taken whatssup.com. nice place for a relaxing afternoon on the water. Not very crowded. Parking is a hit or miss and is very limited spots available. Not very crowded. Ample spaces to relax in the shade or take a short swim in the water. Water stinks a bit because of probably algae and duck poop.
Wonderful bird watching, playground, nice on/off spot for bike path, amazing views of north Lake Washington. Popular, so parking fills up fast.
Nice little park. Took my nephew out to let him run the wiggles out. He played on the toys, we walked out on the dock and watched ducks. Its a cute little park. Tiny parking lot, but cute.
The playground has been opened up for a while now. Its a small but nice park with really nice views of the lake. Parking is somewhat limited but theres off-site parking nearby.
Great place to fish! Ive caught small mouth bass and yellow perch here, and seen others pull up big mouth bass. Often busy but a friendly crowd that gives you room to fish.Suggest a green lure, nightcrawlers for bait, and fishing directly by the dock if you want perch.
Beautiful playground for younger children! Couple of nice entry points for paddling in the lake. quite a bit of parking and plenty of blackberries to pick off the side of the bike trail.
Popular place when the weather is right. Small park with toys for youth. Parking fills up on hot days. Gate closed at dusk
Great park for playing in the water. Easy to put a paddle board or kayak in the water. Parking can be tuff though.
Good place except for some people not wearing masks at all.
If you like beautiful serene lake views with majestic trees providing bits of shade. Paddle Boarding, kayaking and swimming youll love log boom park.
Decent stop if you are riding the lake washington trail.
Awesome little park right of the trail. Can get a bit busy/crowded on nice days though
Not a huge park, but some decent trails along the water, and plenty of waterfowl. Restrooms are actual flushing toilets and theres a real sink to wash your hands. Water fountain next to the restrooms. Pretty water views with a long dock to walk along. The kids playground looked like a nice one, with seperate equipment for the smaller kids. There are picnic tables and benches, and even a bike repair station. I had to take away a star because the water by the wooden picnic table nearest the playground was incredibly littered (Ill post photos), it was very sad to see ducks foraging for food among the trash floating in the water.
Cute little park! Theres a few picnic tables, a small play ground, and a long dock with some benches at the end.
Nice sized parking lot with public bathroom. Park for children recently built. Access to pier that extends on the area they used to store timber in a century ago. Access to the path leading around lake Washington with intermittent views due to housing on the waterline.
Its a really nice park. Bathrooms are clean too. Rated 4 stars because both the water fountains didnt work. There were a lot of bugs when I went to Logboom. It is a great stopping point in the Burke-Gilman trail between Woodinville park and Matthews Beach
Great place for a walk.A great view from the dock and a great space to walk your dog as well as enjoy the waters of Lake Washington.
Beautiful park. I’m in love with it
Nice place to walk its not that big went there just for a stroll and to take some pictures and spotted an eagle you will see in my photo that was a nice surprise
Clean, quiet, beautiful...great place to share a Kids Valley burger & enjoy Lake WA!
One of my favorite places for photos on Lake Washington. Access to the park is easy and the views of the north end of the lake are awesome.
Nice pier and gr at access to Burke Gilman trail. Some parking - fills up fast on nice days, but street parking is also an option. Restrooms are well maintained.
Good place to let the dog loose.
Amazing place to sit on the dock and watch planes take off
I love this part of lake Washington. You can watch the seaplanes takeoff and land.
Beautiful! Great walking and riding trail
This park is the perfect starting place or stop off along the Burke Hillman trail. It has restrooms that are clean and well stocked. There is also great playground for kids as well as a dock for fishing or launching small watercraft.
Nice small park and comnected to Bert Gilman trail!
The jungle gym is newer and is focused on motor skills, strength, and weight manipulation. My 5 year old loves this park best and the dock behind it finishes the visit off perfectly.
Whats great about this park is the waterfront access. The old logboom pier, where rafts of the old-growth timber that used to define this area were moored awaiting milling, juts far into the north end of Lake Washington. Theres kayak and SUP rentals in-season. Restrooms, picnic area, bike trail access and a Big Toy playground for kids. A highlight is the history walk, with photos and info on the early history of the area. Learn about the first inhabitants, the early settlers and development that took place here.
Beautiful little park! I am a frequent biker and I stop at Log Boom park almost every time I am riding on the Burke Hillman trail! It is a very good rest spot for bikers practicing for the STP and for families as well. For bikers, this park has really nice clean restrooms and a clean water fountain for stocking up. It also has comfy benches for sitting on to catch your breath. For families, this park has a cute little playground for your children. Overall, just a very functional park!
Great experience, people are friendly and lots of fun!
Hasnt changed in years, love that its still without railings and open to the sky and water uninterrupted
Cool dock, fun park for kids but no real swing. Great place to ride bikes or go on walk.
Love! Just jumped off of the dock! Water? Cold. After up on the dock. Warm! Lol. All in all, Beautiful! Love!
Long before they rebuilt this dock, my brother & sister and I would see who could get the furthest out with out getting wet leaping and jumping from pillar to pillar. In at the shore to the west of the dock my sister discovered an old railroad train car that was over half buried in the mud and water with trees growing up around it.
Pretty cool lil park
I ride though here several times a week on my commute. Dining fountains and restrooms are nice to have. Its a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the area, especially the views out over the lake.
Great little Kenmore park, fishing dock with half dozen day Moorgate kids jungle gym thing. upgrades happing now.
Great park, public restrooms, waterfront. Its just way smaller than I remember.
Awesome fireworks show, plently of room for the nearly 5,000 in attendance, large police presence and the music before and during the show was a great assortment.
Definitely has logs. Still giving it 5 stars even though there was no boom. Maybe we were there at the wrong time? Lovely place to have a nice outside meal. Definitely no alligators or crocodiles here, however, there are crows.
Right in the neighborhood, a hidden gem.
Nice park on thenwayer..play place for kids..SUP rental in the summer
On the lake kayak rental in spring-fall. Easy access to burke-Gilman trail and Sammamish river park.
I love this park. I park along the road next to it every morning and bus to work. I ride the Burke back from uw and this is where I take a few minutes to catch my breath and sit in the shade of the trees and enjoy nature before going home and making dinner.
Amazing place . lovely place for photoshoot. Good playplace for kids
Not enough logs, but I came here for the Fourth of July and there was a lot of boom!
Beautiful little park
You can ride out on dock and enjoy wide open view.
Great spot to view osprey and eagles. Lovely dock and access to Lake Washington. BOOM
Beach access could be a little better but in the summer its a great place to hang out on a hot day.
Has a nice view of the water, a good smallish playground, easy access to a good long bike trail, and an access point to the water for kayaking/ water shenanigans. Theres a pier there as well, I occasionally see people fishing there (I cant comment on how good the fishing is, though.)
Its a good place to relax
Great park, right on the Burke Gilman trail. Park here for trail use, or to enjoy the lake. Large dock extends into the lake. Couple good spots to launch kayaks. A company rents kayaks on the west side of the park during the summer.
Guaranteed to see Double-Crested Cormorants
Dont go for the playground... But do go out on the Pier.
Beautiful place to take pictures and perfect for morning walks.
I used this as my end destination after kayaking down the slough. Very pretty, good place to get out of the water.
Nice play area, and a great place to start a walk.
It smells of sewage and the people were rude
Perfect for toddlers! Has a clean bathroom as well. Not a lot of parking but worth it still!
Small space with interesting playground equipment. Would recommend it for elementary age children, but not preschool or younger. Gets packed on nice days
Great place for fishing and relaxation
Not a lot of turtles, but beautifully!
Nice lake side park
A little cold but very beautiful
Really nice lake
Good location for birdwatching. I wouldnt go in the water or eat the fish.
Park of my childhood. Still love this place 50 years later
Great place to launch for a bike ride!
Real nice little park. Great for the kids with a nice playground, and also for the dogs. Great views out over the lake and right next to and accessible from the Burke-Gilman trail.
A walk of a mile to the pier and dock from the Lake Forest Park Ballard Ave corner. Cyclists, runners, spoof walkers and families all along the way.
I like to go drop my line in the water at times off the dock.
This park is almost always full. Parking is not always easy to find. During the summer, the docks become the place to be for a little swimming and or sunning. You can see a person or two fishing as well.
Great view of the lake. Very Serene and calm. Walk over the dock, watch birds and relax. There is a play area as well. The July 4th fireworks here are awesome too.
Great spot for a run or walk or riding your bike
I love how Kenmore is upgrading this park. Looks great.
Theres no wading access to the lake right now, but I understand its in the works.
Got a playground it like the new style with the ropes and the sping stuff. Park bit small but the road to the place work just fine. The park small. But the dock is the best part in my book it going into the lake to give you the view from the top to the bridge to Seattle. The park also a part of the Sammamish river trail great for a walk or bike ride.
So fun to watch the planes
Awesome place to grab the Burkegilman trail!
Great place to bike or walk the pier
Lovely place, good fishing
One of our favorite places to hang out with the kids! I dont particularly care for the playground. But walking out on the dock is always fun
Open. Climate sea level. Seattles air!!
A great place to take in the views. Relaxing spotThis place has fishing ( pier )Boat docksPicnic tablesPath waysBike accessibleParking is limited !!!!
People are swimming from the pier.
Great play structure, and decent small place to let kids swim, although its not an official swimming place. Enough room to fetch a dog too, but no official dog park.
Logboom Park is a good place to park while riding on either the Burke-Gillman or Sammish River Trails. It also has nice restrooms and a long dock on the north shore of Lake Washington
First time being there nice that I went on July 4th!
Whether its to catch Pokemon, see the fireworks, go on a light date or get some peace and quiet I ADORE Log Boom Park!
Excellent meeting spot to enjoy the Burke Gilman trail, enjoy water sports and a playground for kids.
Nice place to take a break while biking around Lake Washington. Walking out on the docks gives a cool view of sea planes taking off.
Beautiful views of the Lake Washington.
Pleasant, pretty, and historical.
Great park to play and watch the planes take off!
Love this well maintained park. So much to do and its a great starting place for a Burke Gilman skate
