Wonderful course. Greens in great shape and reasonable seniors cost. Thank you!
Like the course but definitely not worth the $100. Only saw cart girl one time and that was on the front 9. Saw marshall about 6 times though. He did a good job of checking to see if we needed water.
Great shape considering time of year
Nice course, but Fairways were under repair and bunkers closed. Wish I would have known before hand
Course ok shape but customer service was horrible. They went through people cooler that didn’t belong to them. No cart girl and no water on the course. Luckily they didn’t go through my stuff. They would of been slapped. They will never get another dime. Too many other courses around with much better customer service.
Course was not in compliance with local and state regulations regarding Covid-19. Players were forced to ride (2) to a cart after being told verbally ahead of time we would be able to have our own carts. Social distancing was very lax. Some staff members were not properly wearing facemasks. When I paid, I was told I had to sign my receipt with the same pen everyone else used and there was no hand sanitizer available. I dont plan on going back.
Have played there a number of times and enjoy the layout. A couple weeks ago I went out and noticed pretty much all the bunkers were under extensive renovation or refacing. I will check in with them to see when construction is completed before going back.
I played Meadowbrook on April 9, 2020. I was not aware of the course being under construction when I booked my tee time. After playing, I could not believe they charged me full price as the course was in horrible condition. It will be a long time before I come back. I recommend playing anywhere else but here.
Overpriced. Slow play. No marshals or anyone managing flow. 6.5 hrs to play 18 is not good for a course this nice.
Great course. Would definitely play again. Wish they would have Iet me know before I booked tee time that back nine bunkers are all under construction. Or maybe a small construction discount. But I guess it worked out bc I played all the bunkers as man-made objects and took a free drop (usually in fairway ;)
Constructions, constructions, but it is not so bad… will come back
Well maintained course at a reasonable price
Looks nice from the outside along the perimeter fence. Wish I had the $ and the time...
The course and staff are great, but the driving range needs a lot of work. For a club that deals with as much volume as Meadowbrook, you would think they would have turf mats on the driving range to alternate between weekdays/weekends so that the grass has time to recover. The entire driving range surface is uneven and is like trying to hit a ball off of a washboard road which makes it very frustrating to try and practice.
I do not like leaving a negative review but this course earned it. While the course layout is challenging, the teeboxes and fairways were in poor shape. SLOW greens if you are into that. The slow greens were complimented by slow pace of play. Our round took 5 hours to complete. Not because the course was packed. We followed groups of 4 and 5 who were allowed to essentially play as a group of 9. The marshal had no issue with this. It was frustrating at best. I expected more from a semi-private course in Katy’s Cinco Ranch.
$60 for twilight. Too expensive and not worth it. Plus they cart you up with total strangers during Covid even if the course is empty.
Good and beautiful course. Well maintained. Friendly staff.
Best doggone golf course I ever saw except for the drunken idiot playing behind me talking nonstop and driving around on his cart like a fool. Other than that it was great. I asked him to play through just to get rid of him but he just sat there going round and round in his cart drinking beers.funalky he shut up.
Played today, informed greens were in transition. At least 5 of the greens had very little grass. The remainder where sparse and bumpy. Not impressed with their characterization! Full price charge was a rip off. Have played more prestigious courses who reduce green fees when the course is not up to par.
The course and staff are great ! Trey and his staff do a great job !
Even if the greens were in better shape, $90 for weekends is way too much for what this course is. Was not happy with my first and probably only experience there. Greens were sparse with lots of firm mud. Course design is fine but nothing spectacular. I did not feel $100 (Gf + range balls) was worth it at all. I live in the city and can get better golf for less money. Bring your weekend green fees way down and do better with your greens.
Nice course course is challenging but green need some work. It could be due to recent rain that grass on the green are dead. But overall, we enjoyed.
1. Fairway condition is really bad2. Cashier is vary rude. He never say hi to Asian. I stayed around there and checked whether he does not say hi to everyone. He is very aggressive to Asians only.
If you like well protected-postage stamp greens scattered around a beautiful course, then its a Great track. And they have a great staff.Keep an out for the deal of the day on their website. 1/2 price :)
Great staff
Messed up...reconstruction all holes. Save you money til completed...
Attended for the first time for an event and was very impressed. The staff was attentive and the food was beyond exceptional. Diffidently will be going back.
Good golf course with good lies and easy navigation. Friendly staff as well. Only reason I didnt give a 5 star is a lot of the tee boxes were extremely sandy, a couple of times to the point of it being inconvenient. You will definitely enjoy your visit though so dont hesitate to go.
Great layout. A couple of greens need work. Friendly staff at the pro shop and restaurant.
Great course. Greens are mostly in very good condition. I like the layout its open but challenging on some holes. You cant use your driver on every par 4. Makes you thing about course management and positioning your tee shot is important. Will look to go back again.
Nice location with well designed course. It would be nice if their driving range is covered.
Over rated, over priced, staff has a stuck up attitude. The course needs to be brought back up to its new born standards like it was when it 1st opened.
A beautiful place tucked in the back of Cinco Ranch, feels like the country side.
Interesting, varied and surprisingly tricky course. Visited in Jan and the greens were great but visited in March and they had become a bit patchy. Hope that is just a temporarily blip. Worth a visit if you can get a deal and definitely worth a visit if the issue with the greens can be resolved. I wish the maintenance team luck!
Nice course. Overpriced.
Played this course during the week at 4pm. No traffic, course was well groomed, greens were excellent. Great layout, nice balance of trap and hazard, carts have GPS readout for layout and distance. This is now my new favorite course at $52 for twilight. I play golf all over and this is priced right. Well done!
The course was in good shape. Very nice layout. Fairways are very generous. I agree that the rack rates are a little high. They do have some specials if you look hard. It is in no way an $80-$90 course.
Really good layout, fantastic condition. Every aspect of this facility has improved immensely since I was last here a long time ago. Well done to the staff, keep up the great work!
They have the best fish n chips basket!!! Very friendly staff
Course was in great shape for fall golf. Grill prepared the best Reuben sandwich ever!
Day players allowed or private memberships. Driving range = $5. Special rates for Seniors.
The fairways and the bunkers were really well maintained, fantastic couses, worth the money . The greens were not in really good shape, i guess thats just weather, they used a dye because of some fungai problem, even then the greens were rolling true. But all in all, given the weather conditions the course was a good play . Will go there again.
This is the best golf course in the Katy area for sure. The greens are a little slow but very nice and roll true. If you are a little wild off the tee I would suggest playing from the whites on the first few holes and then moving back to blues/golds.
Outstanding course. Always a pleasure to go to your driving range.
Great course. Great Pro Staff. Thank you
Golf course with great local beer on tap!
A bit pricey bit a good golf course.
Must visit golf course in Cinco Ranch
The staff is very snobby especially in the golf shop. Golf course is extremely over priced, members won’t let you play through and do not make you feel welcomed. Have it a 3 Star because the course layout, but I would much rather have played somewhere else.
This is a very well kept course, as it should be for the green fee. The rough today was brutal for this 16 handicapper. The greens were very quick even with the rain yesterday, and the fairways were in decent shape. The GPS in the cart was a bit outdated. For a $90 greens fee i would have thought it would have been better. The GPS units in the carts at Cinco Ranch and Clear Creek were much better. The marshal at one point let my group know we were 1/2 hole behind due to the group in front of us. He was pleasant and he got the other group moving. The beverage cart came around three times and there was drinking water throughout the course. We played in 4 hours 15 min, right on time according to the starter. I will play here again but not often, as its a little much for an every weekend course for me.
I always enjoy playing here. Fairways and greens are well maintained.
I played this course for the first time yesterday. On the positive side, I liked the layout and the greens were in very good shape (very smooth and consistant). The range and practice areas were very good. Pace of play was very good.On the negative side, I understand the weekend green fee is $90. This is not a $90 golf course. I played on a Monday afternoon and the green fee was $55. That was about right. I suppose the green fees are that high on the weekends because it is a semi-private club and they are catering to the members.
What a beautiful day!
The food is really good and it’s fun to watch the golfers ️ it’s a nice place
Its pretty good.
Your driving range is well kept and very good shape, your range balls or in excellent condition . The Pro shop manager is very nice and well informed. Looking forward to playing your golf course.
Great course always in great shape. Greens keeper needs to know people come there only because of the course. Worst employees I have ever seen in any business in my life except for the young men outside. They wouldnt remember your name if you played there every week for eight years. Oh yea I have played there hundreds of times for the past eight years.
Nice course. Always in good shape.
Great course fun to play and all the staff are friendly and nice. I am enjoying being a member
Great tract, not forgiving at all. Tight lines but beautiful course! Cant beat it for the price point!
Golf this course regularly and have never had a problem. This weekend however Marshalls rushed our round by having u skip a hole and was very off putting to our foursome. We finished the round in 4.5 hours which is not bad for a Saturday. There was no need to rush us. No need to rush as our group was waiting on groups ahead if us anyway. After being rushed we caught back up to the groups ahead of us 2 holes later. No need to have us skip a hole. Un heard of.
Outstanding golf course, well kept greens and very challenging course!
Nice course and layout. Good condition. Challenging and fun!
Played this past weekend and was very disappointed in the shape of the course and definitely not worth the $90 greeen fee and additional cost for range balls. Nice...Apparently when there is some rain on this course it does not drain well. I dont know how much it rained Friday night in the Katy (not a weatherman) area but it was very sloppy on the course. Not good when you show up for your tee time and the starter tells you the sand traps dont drain well and have standing water in them. He was correct. I would think everyone knows it rains in Houston. Paying that type of money and having to fetch your ball out of the water in the bunker was not what we expected. Also, the course was muddy everywhere. Not the course to play when it rains. We played Black Horse the day before for about half the price and it had more interesting holes and a nicer staff.
Excellent Houston golf experience - must play for traveling golfers
Good golf course I guess but nothing special except fore the drives
Alight course. The tee boxes could use some love, but overall a good place to enjoy a round.
Not what it used to be, but still a fair quality place to sneak off and get in 18. Greens were struggling, tee boxes a bit chewed up but for sub $50 green fees its not bad.
Amazing place
5-some members will not let twosomes play through. When asking a Marshall, he said we cant allow you to play through. 3 and sometimes 4 groups backed up on a hole.Save your money or go somewhere that values customers. Meadowbrook Farms isnt the place.
Course is challenging and in great shape, staff is attentive and welcoming .
Amazing Houses and super clean places.
Nice course. Could use more trees to provide shade.
Good condition, not wide open, you need to play the course.
Very nice and courteous people
The greens are in terrible condition. The green fee was 63.00 and not even close to being worth that much. I will not be going back anytime soon.
My company has a membership at Meadowbrook Farms, so I play it on a regular basis. Several key points:- Excellent Greg Norman layout. With a variety of tee placements, the course is fun and challenging for people of all skill levels.-Its a diverse layout, especially considering its located in the flatlands near Houston. Most of the holes are unique, with only a couple of holes that are very similar (#1 and #2). The par fives are the most interesting holes on the course, with lots of water, sand, and a good risk reward opporutnity if you play the correct set of tees for your ability.-The service is good. Not great, but good. Not overly friendly, but certainly accomodating.-About the only negative I have, and its a small one, is while a cart is parked near the 18th green, a person comes out and cleans your clubs and is waiting when you leave the green, waiting for a tip. Its a nice gesture, but it would be nice to be asked if wed like it done instead of it being done automaticaly.Overall, this a very good layout, fun to play, and usually in great condition. Its worth playing.
Good track wish it was cheaper i miss Austi
Nice golf club. staff is friendly
Great shape but highly priced.
Decent course but overpriced.
It is a very nice course.
Nice, accessible, affordable
Good place to play. Perhaps a bit beaten by harsh weather
Great challenging course

Descent grass driving range.

Smells different
Its an okay layout with spectacular greens but definitely overpriced.
