I know absolutely nothing about golf. At the age where I figured I’ll give it a try. The associate asked the person to my right if they need help? Walks past me to an older white male if he needs helps. Never acknowledged me.

I like this store because the employees tend to leave you alone. If I need help with something, I’ll ask for it. I like it here because you get to try out the clubs and not pay $10 or have to put your name on a waiting list just to try some clubs in their booths. They’re booth technology is a little behind PGA Tour Superstore. They have GC Quad there. But tomato tomato. The interactions I have had with the associates at this location have always been pleasant. Me personally, I like to be left alone while I look around and shop. I know what I want when I come here and I know where it is. If the associates don’t say hi to me or if they call me bud when I come in the store, I have no problem with that. I will continue to be a golf galaxy customer. Keep doing what you’re doing. You guys rock.

Ive bought almost all my golf clubs and outfits here. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and fitted me properly. Ive been here probably a dozen times and never had a bad experience.

If I can I would rate it zero for its customer services. I went to the store for my son to buy the longer clubs. Firstly the service guy reluctantly showed us where the kids club located, then no knowledge about these clubs. Since I bring a coupon, so I asked the guy if I can use it for the kids club, he said the coupon most of time only apply on few things and not for the kids club. As my kid insisted to get a club, so I pick up a set and a driver. There was no head cover for the driver at that moment, the guy told me to get at the front when I check out. At the cashier, the guy didn’t even look at the coupon, then said it is only applied on line. I asked him to look carefully which is also good in store. As he scanned all the items, he gave me a total amount, the coupon worked like $250 get $50 off. I knew the amount was close to $250, so I asked him how much I short to reach the $250. He just said under that moment I can only get $20 off. After I grabbed a box of ball, eventually get $50 off. Bad story still continue, when I asked for the head cover for the driver, firstly the cashier asked me to get from the back. I asked them to check, because I was sent to the front to get by the back. At last they just simply said no head cover for the new driver. Non of the people working there were helpful! Very disappointed!

The customer service was great I was greeted by Chris and the rest of the staff was exceptional in their customer service as well. Mike the store manager is a Florida fan and Chris is a Michigan fan...but I will still shop here. Roll Tide Roll!!

In fairness, I was not actively shopping for anything in particular when I last visited. The low rating is due mainly to the atmosphere. I always preferred Golfsmith for that very reason. It felt like it was designed for people who loved the game of golf. Golf Galaxy Katy feels more like a retail store. No hitting bays. A tiny putting green. At least when I was there, no active engagement from the employees. Perhaps the converted Golfsmith stores in other locations will maintain some of the good things. Perhaps more aggressive pricing will win over more customers. But Im saddened that I will no longer have that atmosphere I so loved here in Katy. Kind of feels like Cheers closing. That sounds a bit dramatic, but you get my point.

Nice store, but terrible service.When you walk in the door, someone at the register generally says hello to you, but thats where the kindness and customer service ends. Sales associates stand around in groups talking and ignore customers and when you ask for assistance, the associates act as if you are inconveniencing them.The selection of golf apparel is good, golf accessories is ok, but the club selection is average at best. They have 2 simulators in the back that you can try out clubs, but you need to be able to do it on your own, as the sales associates have zero interest in helping you.Prices are much higher than online, but I think thats expected, since you actually get to touch the products before buying and hit the clubs in the simulators. However, given the customer service, unfortunately I think this store has a good chance of ending up just like Best Buy - it will become a showroom for customers to see the products and they will return home and buy it online.

Im sitting in the parking lot outside of Golf Galaxy. I just walked into the store a few moments ago to buy a set of Callaways I saw at a competitor. I was recommended to this location by my golf pro. I walk in and an associate walks past and greets me with Hey Bud. Really?He walks a few steps beyond me and starts talking to another associate. When they finish their 10 second conversation, they both walk the in other way direction. I guess Bud doesnt get any service.Golf Galaxy, you took over GolfSmith locations and you added poor customer service and ill manners. Ill buy my clubs online from anyone but Golf Galaxy. I never leave reviews but I had to leave this one. Avoid buying at this location at all costs.Aka BudPS - This situation doesnt desire even 1star. Lets go with.....0.

When I type in Golf Galaxy into GoogleMaps, the maps pin took me to a location in old town Katy about 2 miles away from the actual store. The actual address is correct as shown, 4600 Katy Freeway, Suite 1100c. The Shops At Park West. Katy, TX 77494Someone should update the actual pin location to avoid confusion

I dont know if those previous reviews are employees, but no one knew the answers to simple questions on equipment. And i was in check out was 35 mins. Before I gave up and put everything back on the shelve and walked out.... i know most people would have left after 10 mins. It became a game to see how long it would take... and only 1 person doing the check out!!!! OMG! Bring back Golfsmith!!! #golfgalaxysucks
